Just watched your video for Seniors I'm 71 years old and had a torn rotator cuff after a bad fall while hill walking so I'm only returning to golf after a two year recovery . When I was in my forty's I played of eight but due to work and raising a family I usually only managed maybe one round a week for a good number of year's. As a young man I played hurling here in Ireland for a good number of years so when I got older it was a natural progression to golf as some of my friends joined thier local golf Club's. I found your video and drills very helpful and informative and found it helped me in getting my game back to a reasonable competitive and enjoyable level . My local club is parkland so with the weather here in Ireland being quite wet this time of year there's not much run on the ball but I still see an improvement in distance with your tuition so keep up the good work thanks from Irish Mike.

As you know Todd, I have been receiving your on line tips for some time now and I do believe that they have been of much greater value to my knowledge of the mechanics of the golf swing, than any of the ten years of in person golf lessons that I have taken previously. During those prior years some bad swing habits developed (that should have been corrected by my teaching pros) and now after so many years of this bad swing, I'm finding it most difficult to break those bad habits. There have been so many of your tips that have hit the mark but always it seems that another ,"bug a boo", arises. Recently I have been playing around with my tempo using a metronome and this has helped quite noticeably. I just would like take this moment to thank you and your team for all the time and effort that you guys put into helping us high handicappers play better golf. Thank you so much. You help me keep the dream alive. I'll try to keep in touch let you know of my progress.

I played with PGA Champion Mark Brooks growing up when we were about 14/15 years old. Mark and I had a mutual friend Brad who was left handed but played right handed. Brad set up to the ball very square and did NOT turn his toes outward but remained square. He hit the ball a ton. Arnold Palmer taught me that to hit the ball a ton, open the club face on the driver. Then take a strong grip. The club face will square at impact and create a ton of power. I have found that to be very true. I also like Moe Norman's approach placing the ball well forward of the left foot and addressing the ball with the driver face positioned at the middle of the stance. This aids in hitting up on the ball at impact.

Todd, Love your videos and have taken most tips to heart. One suggestion. After showing us the tips and doing your three sets you go ahead and hit the shot to show us how it looks. We mostly get both views which is very helpful but you have a pretty fast swing so it is hard many times to appreciate the positions, etc. you are trying to demonstrate. My suggestion in editing the video to put on line is to slow-motion your shot. Maybe show it slow-motion twice and stop it at several segments to show your tip in action at the crucial points. This would sure help me and maybe others. Mike Irwin Carmel, Indiana

Thanks for the great video Todd. By the look of things, when you set up to the ball your feet were definitely more closed than your shoulders. Is this what you are saying, because otherwise everything will be parallel (shoulders, hips, feet etc) and aiming to the right and the only thing aiming down the line will be your club face. Thanks, Dave from UK.

One last thing Todd after range practice day! I am mindful that I am not transferring my weight correctly. I am set up as per your instructions, my back leg straightens on back swing, I just don't get a feeling of where my weight is. Also, I am only swinging 92-95mph with my driver and prob maxing out at 215-220 carry. My aim this this year is to reach 240 carry! Is it as simple as trying to increase my swing speed to 100 mph (if that's even possible) or are there any drills I can hone to help me get there. Thank you as always, Simon (53) Southampton, England.

Great movie and even better advice for a 73-yr old from Toronto. But, even though the Vertical Line Swing has helped me considerably, I'm still fighting a tendency to cast from the top. To combat that I visualize starting my downswing by pulling the club down and "behind" me - perhaps a version of dropping my hands to my thigh. It then helps me, when it works, to drop "below the (backswing) line" coming through to impact. Any thoughts or comments?
