I just discovered this video has been unlisted for months. No idea why. Here it is, back from the dead.
The main menu music in BO2 will always give me the goosebumps. It is the perfect mix of all emotions. From nostalgic to sadness and fear. It makes me recall all the memories I had seeing the Mason storyline coming to an end.

I do agree this most of this and yes, the desert eagle doesnt belong on bo2 this was a modded client such as [redacted or plutonium] he used to be able to record im assuming since bo2 on pc is very dangerous with all the hackers on the standered steam bo2 or maybe they didnt have it and or got the free client instead either way the deagle wasnt edited :)

I love seeing the WAW raygun easter egg because everyone thinks there are 3 holes to jump in or that there are 4. Just shows that some of us are on the safe side and do all 4😂
I still remember doing the Little Resistence one. Absolutely blew my mind how awesome it was.
I understand that a lot of people really don't like these games, but I am still very fond of them.
I've been playing them on and off for about 13 years and I always have a ton of fun and seeing these kind of silly staff (and especially the last one, omg!) it gives me hope that on the other side there are still goofy nerdy developers who still like these games like I do.

That MW2 Easter egg brought a tear to my eye. Kinda cool to see the devs lean into the Easter eggs and it really shows the love and commitment they have for making these games. Guru you never disappoint with an upload, I hope 2022 was a great year for you dude!

Man, where has the time gone? I always feel a bit of sadness watching gameplays of past CoDs. I can’t help but remember all the times playing CoD after school with my best friends and meeting countless people online over the years. This truly was a trip down memory lane. Call of Duty, while completely different these days, will always have a special place in my heart.

Agreed! It sucks that the map isn't available anymore. I had to use old footage for that. Santa kind of returns in the new Christmas map that is running in MW2 right now, but it just appears and you don't activate it.

Just gonna point this out because i haven't seen any comments about it Guru. The old school activison easter egg in BO2. When you came off the screen you had a desert eagle. That wasnt a weapon im BO2. Good lil easter egg my guy.

I loved the World At War ray gun Easter Egg. Back before secrets were front and center on YT or gaming sites after every release, it was just word of mouth from friends in school. Always had a kick showing a friend that secret

Older cods always had mysterious soundtracks and background noises. Mainly talking about the bo2 soundtracks and bo1 theme and radio transmission noises. Thats what made these games so memorable to me.

Idk if im correct, but in MW2 2022, in one of the mission where Soap and Alejandro captured El Si Nombre, when Diego first knew Soap's name he said "What the f kind of name is Soap" Which in my opinion was a reference to the original MW1 when Price said to Soap the same thing in the beginning of the game

You’re an absolute alien when it comes to this easter eggs bro, no one does it like you
Some people found out that the steps for the moon dog easter egg aren't actually those steps in the first place, for the dog step to the left of pack a punch you can look under one of the trucks outside of the map and you will see a tiny dog near one of the back tires, you shoot it with the wave gun.
The Bone Step remains the same and for the teddy step apparently it's a teddy you need to shoot with the wave gun in the dome area outside of the map, (near the box location) above near the dome "windows".

The fire in the air in the Santa easteregg is most likely a reference to back to the future, where the flying DeLorean does the same thing.

11:48 despite how bad the UI, Bugs, and some terrible decision changes etc, I admit MWII has one of those details that i can appreciate and love so much. for example the reload sound is different when you using different magazine size, different sound while Hip Firing and Aim Down Sight, Unique Inspect animation for each weapon both Loaded and Empty, and the list goes on.
now watching this and you show me this somewhat love letter to the fans for noticing how important these little details to make the game more authentic is so wholesome and makes me happy
