Hi Doc, I want to know your opinions about Boards and Beyonds. Do you think it’s a good resource if I don’t have a good basic knowledge for basic science materials?
I'm an international med student and im starting to study for my USMLE step 1 from semester one. Is this advice geared towards me? I do plan on taking it later in my medical education (M4-M5) And this video got me confused
Hi Malle, thank you for this thorough explanation. I’m interventional cardiologist from Germany and want to join a fellow in the USA. Any advices and tricks which you could share. Many thanks

I have this question for a long time. Should I study First Aid USMLE Step 1 directly without any prior knowledge in subjects like physiology and biochemistry or have to study these and then come to First Aid?
Hi Dr I have heard that the match process is now very competitive and the main factors for match is connection If you don't have recommendation you will get less interview in contrast to that who has connection
It is and will always be competitive. Connections have been and will continue to be very important. That is why I always recommend building connections prior to applying and one way to do that is through research. I am a 4th year MBBS student in Pakistan who is considering USMLE. The thing is,I study in an insane way where I go through the book and verbally repeat the important points or points to remember 100 times. It takes super long like 6 literal hours for a chapter, but it works like magic where I can retain 80-90% of the information forever. At the end of 4th year,I would've covered all the material related to step 1,I can just lightly and quickly review all the material and it would be as if I am fresh on. Do I have much to worry about . I am shocked to hear that for step 1,people choose pathoma for pathology when I am out here memorising Basis by heart for Pathology. In my own batch,I got 3rd place in 3rd year and I am also able to retain microbiology very well. I am scared of the step 1 exam because of the different style of studying that people choose to be able to pass the exam. Can you please guide me on this? Like retaining the information is zero issue for me. Pathoma looks horrendous to me for the literal lack of information it has. If I choose to do step 1,I would most probably do it mid of 5th year,so I would have around a year and a half to prepare. Also, how important are connections?
Hello, im also a fourth year MBBS student and i too am preparing for step 1. I feel like your study strategy isnt efficient. Lets connect i can giveyou a few tips
Hii! Im a 3rd yr med student...have a future plan on doing Usmle... And my base knowledge isnt that rich.. So what is your recommendation regarding THIS?

If you have weak base then which resources do you recommend ??
boards and beyond - Pathoma
sir, from the UWORLD questions bank, does the questions and answers directly asked atleast to passed in the real STEP exam? Studying UWORLD questions bank will be sufficient?
Do you think it would be good to do an NMBE and you don't buy uworld until you have a good score in NBME?
No no , u need to do Uworld q bank , that's the main thing!!
After all of that you go for the Nbme
I've recently done my med school , i've weak base should i start with bnb + first aid or kaplan lectured + kaplan books ?

Thank you
Please anyone tell me how can i get UWORLD
You can buy it online or if you search enough you'll get the pdfs
Is it free being residence, if i pass all the exams?
Does failing step 1 once makes ur chances negligible for matching ?
It makes it much harder but nothing is impossible.
Can i see my score even tho it’s pass fail?
Bro did u mean I should start with u world and first aid simultaneously?
What about imd
also by redoing wrong question on Uworld after first round
Hi
