There are two books missing from this ranking, First aid for the Basic sciences *General principles* and *Organ systems* they are extended versions for Step 1 and 2 and they make up for the deficits of the usual first aid with excellent explanation while still integrating the mnemonics and key points. In my opinion they are wonderful books for med school and Steps They can also be used in the dedicated period without the need to go back to other resources very much
i think the problem is that people misuse First Aid. In order to gain value from it, students should use it as a check-list (not as a primary review source). It's really useful to help you make sure that you're covering the topics relevant to USMLE.
¡Gran video Santi!
Your video should be viewed by every medical student in the U.S. before they take their Step 1 exam. Most definitely. Thank you so much for your insights. It's saving me a lot of time and effort. God bless my friend.
Can u make a video on how to use U World? As it ranks on the top of ur list..do u need to make notes/flashcards and how to remember everything from u world as it covers first aid indirectly.
Hola Santiago. Me gustaría contactarte para asesorías de Step 1, no encuentro el medio por donde hacerlo. Si eres tan amable y me dices cómo te contacto. Gracias
I have just passed Step 1.. I can say Hygrue is one of the best resources for step 1 .... It is in NBME style and prepares you for the real deal .... Another is HYArrows by Mike Mehalman
