The Ultima Weapon is (you don't say) the strongest Keyblade in Kingdom Hearts 3. As usual, you first need to get the recipe for it, and you obtain it by bringing 58 different synthesis materials to a Moogle Shop.
The needed materials to craft the Ultima Weapon are the following:
- x7 Orichalcum+
- x2 Wellspring Crystal
- x2 Lucid Crystal
- x2 Pulsing Crystal
The hardest part is, once again, getting the 7 pieces of Orichalcum+. The way to obtain all of them is shown in the video.
Wellspring Crystals can be easily found in the Battlegate 12 in San Fransokyo.
Lucid Crystal can be found in the Battlegate 10 in The Caribbean.
Pulsing Crystal can be found in the Battlegate 11 in San Fransokyo.
Once again, the hardest part is collecting the 7 pieces of Orichalcum+.

6) Twilight Town Prize Postcard random reward (minute 04:35). Spend some money on the Moogle and you'll get a free Prize Postcard. When mailing it in the mailbox in Twilight Town and you'll get a random prize. The Orichalcum+ is amongst these prizes. Since the chances to get it are very low, make sure to make a manual save before mailing the postcard and retry until you get it.
7) Reward for defeating the Omega Machina (minute 05:00)
The Omega Machina is a giant spaceship that only appears in the Eclipse galaxy (where the Keyblade Graveyard is) after defeating the other 5 high level spaceships around the place. There is a boss on every side of that maze-like place, and another one hidden under the whole place (it's easily missable). Whenever you defeat one, you'll see purple lights going upwards. Turning on all of the 5 lights will let the Omega Machina spawn and land, giving you the chance to fight it.
Of course, prepare for a long fight and do your best to build a new Gummi Ship with tons of HP and a Repair Kit as its Special Weapon (it allows you to refill your HP with the Triangle button).
I didn't have much time for it, so I did my best with the Gummi pieces at my disposal-but, if you can, make a ship better than mine.

An easy way to beat the gummi boss, is with the special blueprint golden highwind. The spiral vortex boss drops it and the only requirement is 200 speed.

Super helpful tips for those who might not know.
1. The flans all have to jump for joy to receive the accomplishment.
2. The post cards isnt super hard. Just buy 1 potion at a time then exit out of the moogle. You'll get a lot from that and if you use up all your money just restart from your manual save.
3. Please watch Everglows frozen sled vid. It saved a ton of time.
4. In general watch Everglows tutorials for the stuff if you just wanna rush everything. But the fun is in actually playing and trying everything yourself.
I got the Ora+ from literally the first post card. I was happy that part wasn’t a grind as most of the other stuff was lol.
you only need 10 munny a try if you get one of the cheap ingredients.

I gotta say I love kh3. The gameplay is really fun and feels satisfying. And yes I know it's pretty easy in a way, but kh isn't really about challenging the players it's about giving a fun, creative, and beautiful story. Overall I'm very happy with the way things went. Also thanks allot for the guide the ultima weapon is pretty cool(my favorite is still the grand chef lol)

@@larine4459 Different things he says like that drive me crazy sometimes... like when he draws out saying that there are ingredients nearby. The VA must have been having an off week or something... speed it up and add some of that influctuation to your voice or it will get grating fast when the line gets repeated.

Who's idea was it to put an orichalcum+ behind RNG?
well, it's not fully RNG, the moogle cards are limited, you just need to buy a potion, exit and repeat until he don't give you any of those, put all of them in the mailbox and there's a 100% of possibility that you'll have the orichalcum+
@@coverandoacasa Not true. I have put a full stack of card in that damn mail box three times so far, and i didn't get. My luck is the absolute worst.
Yeah, say for example you have a 1 in 5 chance of getting a toy from a cereal box and you get 5 boxes. Getting 5 boxes doesn't mean you are guaranteed that toy, if any. With this Orichalcum+ locked behind RNG, it's essentially the same except instead of a 1 in 5 chance it's more like a 1 in 50.
Demon Hunter X I got a Orichalcum+ from the post cards by doing a really simple and admittedly tedious method. Simply sell 5 potions and buy them again, leave the shop and boom you get a post card almost every time, and on the occasion that you don’t get one just simply repeat the process or purchase 5 of a different item such as High potions and you should get a post card that way as well. Repeat this process over and over until you get about 10 post cards at the bare minimum (you could go for more if you want) then make sure you save your game before you submit the postcards then submit. Now here’s the tedious part, if you don’t get any orichalcum+ you’re gonna have to close the game and start again and repeat the process till you get it. After while you will get one, it took me like 4-5 resets before I finally got one so just be prepared to close the game app a lot lol.

This is by far MY FAVORITE ULTIMA WEAPON DESIGN.
The only problem I have with it is that once you've obtained it there's nothing cool to use it on. The battlegates are a joke and the secret boss isn't that hard, without any arena modes all I can do is fight more trash-tier mobs for synthesis materials :/

@James Chris I'd recommend going to foothill in Arendelle equipping as many lucky strike abilities and equipment like lucky ring and favorite deputy keyblade.
To the group of ppl shouting about everglow “spoiling the design” in the thumbnail makes no sense, the design is literally shown to u in the moogle shop upon the 58th material u acquire.
Yeah, I've been "disappointed" by the Moogle Shop showing you the design earlier as well. But you can't seriously go to RUclips in the KH3 release week and expect not to get spoiled if you look for Kingdom Hearts content. If people are scared of spoilers and still need to beat the game, then just stay away from the Internet as I've been doing for the past 3 weeks.
I've seen scary thumbnails about the ending and the end game boss battles around here... and the scariest thing is that they are videos uploaded even before the actual release date. If there's someone to blame, it's those people.

The Flan challenges were the most frustrating part for the recipe, but it was the most rewarding thing to able to use the Ultima for the final fights after Sora rescues his friends. It was so, GODLY when Sora goes into his Ultimate Form, SHIIIIIIET ♥️🗝
Wow the top of the keyblade has 3 points now. Kh2 ultima had 2 points. Nice detail.
the points are individual blades wrapped in the wing-like ornaments that run up the shaft of the keyblade from the handle and guard and come together into the teeth at the tip of the blades. the Ultima Weapon in KH1 was just a sword wrapped in gold leaf that looks like the same ornamentation we see here, and the Ultima Weapon in KH2 and KH3 is that same sword but with an additional blade and the ornaments, teeth, and keychain made more elaborate with different coloring. it's one of my personal favorite details in the whole series because the Ultima Weapon develops alongside Sora and the series to reflect the person wielding it and their own power with the more elaborate parts of the design while always, always remaining the same sword underneath. if you compare them all on the wiki you can see it really clearly. totally cool.
Nice work! Man, this look difficult! And those kids in Twilight Town... I can only imagine how grating hearing them every time you mail a Prize Postcard could get.

Lucky emblems i can understand but the flan minigames and especially the treasures in frozen slider are a complete waste of time. This was the longest Ultima weapon to craft just because of having to do frozen slider 10 times. Its extremely satisfying to get though as Ultimate Form is the most broken form in the game and the boosts to magic are phenomenal

@@FarisFlowers in KH2, there were a lot in treasure chests, yeah, but you had to beat Atlantica, I think you had to beat the Goddess of Fate Cup in the Coliseum, and something else. But yeah, it's pretty simple!

Just got this keyblade today, well worth the effort.
This one wasn't so hard to get, I even think the most challenging yet fun part of it all was the Gummi Ship battles you have to do to get it.
Ultima from 1 will always be the most tedious to get, with 3 coming in 2nd place as it is a process, but nothing downright frustrating. 2 now, that one was easy. I literally didn't even know I had the stuff I needed until I went to Moogle on accident and discovered I could make it.

I really hate when they use RNG for stuff like this. Unless you coincidentally get the Orichalcum+ just experimenting with the mailing the postcard routine, you may not ever know that it's hiding such an important item. For people who want to unlock Ultima without help it could cause them to complete everything in the hopes they find their 7th, but never actually do because of RNG. It almost becomes necessary to look it up... and in my honest opinion it just shouldn't be that way.
i've said it before and i'll say it again I HATE RNG!!!!! but in this case it wasn't that bad.

I got it before the fight with the organization for my second play through. This thing is BROKEN. It tears through bosses like nothing. Thankfully it was annoying to do everything to get it so it being super powerful makes that grind worth it.
As others have said, for the Postcard Orichalcum +. You need to stack about 10-15 of them then save your game. Turn them all in and if you don’t get it just load up the save where you still haven’t turned them in. Repeat until you get it, took me almost 4 tries with 25 postcards so I know the pain.
It’s totally possible to do all this before the final boss, and I recommend it

A good tip for the Omega Machine battle would be to grind for the Golden Highwind gummy ship. It tears through the bosses health, I beat it in like 3 minutes. You get it by beating the boss that appears in the greenish blue vortex near monstropolies. If you don’t have a good gummyship it might take a while but it’s mostly dodging and weaving. It’ll be worth it in the long run.
That’s what I did I am horrible with the gummi’s in every one of these games makes things way easier for farming items as well
This entire process wasn’t fun in the slightest and I currently hate the game designers for this game for even thinking it would be.

Just got mine before completing the game only thing I was having trouble with was getting the 58 materials but I figured out just synthesize the ones you need for the best weapons in the game that you don’t have and bam got it before completing Keyblade graveyard and the final fights now to beat the boss and the battle gates hope this helps anyone a lot of people say you can’t get it till after your first playthrough which had me like wtf I got it in kh2 right after starting world that never was.
Btw I’m currently only a level 58 I believe so not even up in the 80’s to 90’s I don’t think I’m gonna have to go that high in this game the bosses are way easier than kingdom hearts 2 and there is no sephiroth lol
Am i the only one who is not happy with his ultima weapon? I mean in KH1+ and KH2+ it was the first thing to do before you even try to engage the sephiroth fight and other secret bosses (especially in KH2 Final mix with all the data bosses, lingering will fight and all the crazy ades tournament fights that required you to be endlevel). Now i have my ultima in KH3 and i have no one to use it on.. only one secret boss and he is so easy when you are maxed out that i can't even consider him a boss, it's more like a strong trash minion, nothing more.. i wish they put more fights in the endgame tbh

Funny story about my first attempt to get the Ultima Weapon. I was live streaming my first playthrough of the game and after completing Toy Box, I stopped at Twilight Town to take a break; upon returning, I used the mailbox for the first time ever and my reward was the Orichalcum+. I then played through the rest of the game and about two weeks later, I start working on the Ultima Weapon. I collected all but the Omega Machina and the Slider Orichalcum+'s and I forgot I had obtained the one from Twilight Town. I spent THREE HOURS trying to get that Orichalcum+ until I got really frustrated, thought about the rewards, then realized I obtained an Orichalcum as my first ever reward from the mailbox. I then looked through the saved archive of my stream and saw I had already obtained that Orichalcum+...
I was more shocked at how the Orichalcum+ was my first ever reward from Twilight Town's mailbox than I was angry over the RNG system behind getting that Orichalcum+ and wasting 3 hours of my life.

You can get the Ultima Weapon as early as the Demon Tide 2 boss fight in Keyblade Graveyard. That is insane.
Seeing how ultima weapon in this game resembles the one in kh2 my theory is that after sora lost his powers ultima weapon lost his magic and became more strength oriented.
This might be my favourite version of the ultima weapon.
The combat in KH3 might be inferior when compared to KH2 but its ultima weapon looks hella good.
It kinda sucks there’s only one secret boss because it’s the only fight I’ve found the ultima weapon really useful for because I beat the game

Would love to get this keyblade! Love to, but won't. Simply because...there's no point. I beat the game. Yes, there's side stuff to do. But I'm not motivated to do those if I'm being honest. I've said this on multiple KH3 videos before, but I really hope there's a NG+! If there is then I'll defiantly work to get this keyblade so that I can play the entire game again with it. But unless that happens. This is one blade I'll be missing out on.

I actually think some of the orichalcum could've been better distribute, like get one for collecting all Soras, except of getting it by pure luck (i know you can reset, but It just bothers me a little)
Everything I don't mind except the gummi ship requirement. I hate the gummi ship in this game so much
@@RevolvingCube Yeah, I was raging while trying to put together a good enough Gummi Ship with the limited gummi blocks I had. Eventually, I learned that I could kind of cheat by using the Gummi Ship you get for taking a picture of the Omega constellation. I'm sure a custom made one might have made the boss fights easier, but the Omega gummi ship was enough to get the job done.
I’ve personally really enjoyed the Gummi ship in KH3. The Orichalcum+ I had the most trouble with was from Frozen Slider. Had to use a guide to find all the treasures.
Still enjoyed the mini game itself though.
I enjoyed the Gummi ship in this game especially customizing ships and ending up with an OP ship.
Hardest part for me was the Melon flan. I'm so bad at landing on the flans at 10k.
@@xenfast130 Here's a tip with Gummi Ships, build the ship in the shape of a large square and leave the center hollow. Most attacks should go straight through it and you can cover the edges completely with guns
For anyone who can't find the repair kit, I just got it by getting A-rank completion on the Dreadshark boss in front of Monstropolious, in the second Galaxy.
For some reason it won't count my lucky emblem and pirates Orichalcum + gem anyone else having this issue?

If u buy somthing for 10 ,and get exit , they give u a postal too ,its faster and more cheap
Actually for the number 6 the orichulum + just buy a potion and leave the shop, it usually around 2 times till you get a post + you get tons of strengh and magic boost it's way more effective it took me like 30minutes!! But hey it's less boring than going to the main menu and loading the game.
Can you do a video on your recommend Gummi ship build for facing the heartless ships and Omega?
Just beat the spiral boss in the second space. I found the Endymion ship you get from snapping the Endymion constellation to be sufficient to beat that boss. That spiral boss drops the Golden Highwind blueprint. The Golden Highwind demolishes any Gummi fight in the game. Even the Omega Machine.
I don't think anything ruins a game experience more for me then things locked behind mini games. I did not get this game to play mario party with a bunch of flan, not saying it shouldn't be in the game, but locking something like the fucking ULTIMA weapon behind something this stupid actually blows my mind.
It just occurred to me that the base blade of this incarnation of the Ultima Weapon looks like the Roman Numeral III in the logo

The "blade" part of the keyblade looks like an elongated Roman numeral 3 (III) on the Kingdom Hearts III logo. lol
EDIT: I have also noticed that the effects that appear when the keyblade is materialized kinda resembles how the KH3 logo appears at the end of all the trailers!
for the wellspring crystals I hav gotten 3 from the first group of enemies in san fransokyo at night south part save point, the pulsing and lucid aren't exactly easy to get but they aren't difficult either
I will say though, the orichalcum+ are the most annoying to get, I had thought that the galaxy one was going to be a pain but golden highwind made that simple, the sled is indeed the more annoying, flantastic isn't hard if you hav a scale of high score to go off of

Everglow, I need some help, How many postcards I need to get Orichalcum+ and which item is the cheapest price to get Prize Postcards? Please?
Just got it today. God, I HATE doing the Cherry Flan mini game.
I have 4 Orichalcum+, the last three are for defeating the Omega, getting those 10 Frozen slide treasures and from the 7 Flan Heartless... 'sigh'
For the gummi ship part u can get the treasure spheres in each galaxy to level up and get parts for better ships. U dont really need the best. But the peak models are really good. The flan and sled games are going to frustrate and annoy you tho.
Got them all now, the 10 treasures in Arendelle were the hardest to get.

I got ultima weapon after final world and all I can say is you don’t even need to transform into ultimate form to become powerfull shotlock one shots everything
but don't buy multiple items when trying to get the postcard one because all you need is one and you get just as much a chance of getting a postcard with 1 item as you get with 999+ items. also to save yourself going crazy get a whole bunch of postcards then save so you don't have to go back to the title screen with every failure. buy a 10 munny ingredient and get like 20 postcards then save and then turn them in, reload if you have to.
are you going to continue the kingdom hearts timeline with III soon at all? I would honesty love to see you finally finish the timeline as it truly was amazing I thought, and the 358/2 days section was definitely the highlight of the whole thing for me. I know you will someday...
Definitely not in my plans for the near future, it's time to focus on KH3 for now. The Timeline project was a way to relive the series for the KH3 release, after all.
Everglow fair enough but you just put so much effort. It was unbelievable and as I said the 358/2 days part was everything we could want in an HD remake if it ever happened. I understand completely though and I do wish you all the best with completely the game. I'm doing it right now too!

But cynical is also amazing as he did a video talking about your timeline, as well as HMK, VTNVivi, skyward wing, keyblade sarah, limitform 72, 13th vessel, volteditzz and soraalam1. But you're the most mysterious one out of all of them. But in a good way of course. :)
where do you get the 58th material? i cant find it i only have 57
Did you go to the sand bar isle in The Caribbean? Because I literally found the 58th material by accident.
You can see what material types you are missing. Go to Collector's Goals in the moogle shop menu and scroll about mid-way down. It shows a checklist for each type of material. Look at what material types you still haven't yet collected, then leave that menu and select Material List. Scroll down to the types missing and look at what you have. They are in order of Shard, Stone, Gem, and Crystal. This will tell you exactly what's missing and you could just synthesize it. I was also stuck at 57 lol

Forging that key was surprisingly easy compared to the previous two main games. Still not as easy as in CHain of Memories though XD

For some reason I didn't get the O+ from the lucky emblems
I found all of them for the Oathkeeper, and also got the O+ from the chests in carribean and final world, but I only have 2 O+
Everglow do you think sora with the ultima weapon is like bahamut from ff15 with them using many swords and how they fight
Umm what? That would mean there are 8 in the game, all I'm missing is the lucky emblems and the mailbox

In most game it is a combination of white, light blue and yellow. In this game, it is white with red and black.

It’s so OP. I beat the secret boss with it at level 63 easily. They made Kh3 a bit to easy imo, and I went through on proud

And try playing through Proud at Level 1 for a real challenge.

Not a bit to easy. A LOT TO EASY. *the game was easy*. Just for haha's i went and got the Ultima Keyblade before fighting "secret" boss. I literally mashed A (X for ps4 newbs) almost the entire fight.
Bought a coin the beginning of the game. Never used it once.
I have to say that once again, the design of the keyblade is absolutely crazy

I can't seem to get access to the damn recipie. I've opened treasures, killed everything I see, blown up every rock in space. I'm still at 55 Synth.
Any suggestions?
Chef Ignis you are missing 3 materials, compare the materials you have to the 58 materials you can find online it’s probably 3 crystals your missing
Try buying every synth item in the shop and making as many synth items too thats what i did and it worked
