Alright; this is HUGE! If they are telling the truth, then this ability, to use the graphics card for processing, exists, then it will revolutionize battle simulators and ANY game alike.
Damn. The pathfinding in this seems way better than UEBS 1. And it's way better optimised by the looks of things, there didn't seem to be much lag even in that big battle you showed off. Amazing. Plus, looks better. But thats not why you play UEBS.
@@jurrrr1637 this is the fecking pre alpha build. They are still finishing stuff off, have barely started proper bugfixing. Which you can very much see at the bridge battle. The tides going in an out? Amazing too look at, till it reaches the bridge and you get those manic splash effects phasing through the bridge.

Also, some game of thrones houses/factions as well (Targaryen, Lannister, Stark, Tyrell, Martell, Greyjoy, Arryn, Tully, Baratheon, Bolton, Wildlings, nights watch, Dothraki, golden company, army of the dead, etc).

Im going to edit this as i watch but. 1) it would be nice to see the spartans brace right before the zombies impact them, so the zombies don’t end up making it into the formation as i saw in the first two battles 2) Rts mode is really cool Overall this feels like something that’d be better as a update to UEBS 1 because i never got the feeling of “this is a complete game” when i would play it. This new installment definitely has potential but in this early of a state it just feels… off, like if a game wanted you already bought was lacking completeness, then the devs just went and made a second game with the mechanics the original was missing, seeking another payday
So increasing the unit count by 100x, completely revamped pathing and ways of rendering troops that are unique not only to the first game but also to the industry as a whole, an RTS mode, ragdoll physics, fluid physics, and larger maps aren't good enough to warrant a sequel? Bruh that's literally an upgrade in every sense of the word and it's not like they're charging $60, in fact not even close. The first game was a $15 indie project and came out over half a decade ago. Its Ultimate epic battle simulator, you spawn dudes and throw them at each other. Idk what you're talking about with missing features, this isnt a DICE project with hundreds of employees and dozens of millions of dollars being pumped into it with a $60 pricetag and every update coming as a $10-$20 DLC package. There isn't anything to be bummed out about, a handful of people work on tech that renders massive numbers of units and package it into a cheap little game for you to enjoy. They've made some revolutionary changes to gaming as a whole and I'm more than happy to throw them $10-$20 to share in the experience. Should Halo 2 have just been an update to Halo CE? Should Half Life 2 have been an update to HL1? Like come on dude, there's so many genuinely terrible examples of devs making minor updates for a sequel, like Warhammer 3 from Warhammer 2 from Warhammer 1 Total War or Call of Duty's endless sequence of sequels.
You should totally try out the Roblox game Trenches if you liked the other ones. Its a game based on WW1 where you can make your own trenches, bunkers, and artillery. Its super fun and I 100% recommend it.
