Yeah, truly a wonderful difference made. My problem is that I will want to do such edits for many photographs taken - and so I will end up spending all day at my Lightroom screen! 😃
I like it too, but what do you do with the feather tips with the bokeh in the back, that look grey? That stood out to me, as you were doing so many masks. Otherwise it was a beautiful edit!
Thanks for the comment! Unfortunately, these areas seem to fine for lightrooms masking tools to handle. I personally think its ok for this tiny area to look a bit strange (someone not invloved in photo editing would notice it), but if you want BEST quality, you might want to use a bit less masking on that particular spot :-)
Duplicating some masks for this image might have saved some time, I agree. I personally just rarely use the duplicate button, I prefer creating new masks instead :-)
Well done! Good use of the tools! 12:35
I liked the editing you did. It really makes the bird pop!
Lovely edit. Adjusting the eye made a big difference to the image.
Thank you so much!
Very helpful ... more of these videos ... thanks

Oh I know the struggle, this can be quite time consuming!
Awesome 🤩

I am also bothered/distracted by the darkened feather tips, against the bright back light, at the back of the head.

❤❤❤❤
Have you tried duplicate and invert mask? That would have saved you some steps.😅

Can you do a 3D black and white edit in Lightroom classic like pixImperfect did in his latest video : turn boring portraits into 3D black and white !
Thanks for the suggestions, I will look into it, if I find a fitting image I will try to make a video on it!
That’s what I call overcooking the image😂
Seems like my videos aren't for you then, I love heavier handed editing and thats what I'm showing here :)
