      If your cpu is good enough for a fast render and for whatever you are doing, well, why change?

      In any case, i didnt see that improvement with the igpu in davinci resolve.

      @@TaranMatharoo What does that have to do with the observation that AM5, as a new platform, had a very rough start? Btw this is for the x670 configuration, which is what AMD launched with and what most professionals will use if they go with AM5.
      Its not conventional configuration by any means. See:
      "The fact that one chipset’s uplink is wired to the downlink connectivity of the other will probably cause some complications. For example, virtualization scenarios will create a non-trivial device tree and also SSDs connected up to the second chipset will have higher communication latency than the SSDs connected to the first."
      ...
      "these oddities will only occur with the X670 and X670E platforms. If you buy a mainstream board with a B650 or A620 chipset, you don’t have to worry about them, you will get a board that is completely conventional, just like the B550 platform was." -hwcooling
      From XNA-Dev "Since AM5 launched in late 2022, reports of compatibility issues with RAM sticks and BIOS versions started to circulate on Reddit. People faced issues like no boot, long boot times, incompatibility with EXPO profiles, no video signal from the GPU, and many more. These early reliability issues were attributed to AM5 being a radically new platform. There were even rumors of AMD pushing back the availability date of the Ryzen 7000 CPUs due to AMD dealing with firmware-related problems."

    17:49 if boards werent shipping with that much NVME/m.2 then SATA SSD would still be more popular. Convenience of m.2 storage is it is fast, large storage, it's small and easily tucked away inside PC. SATA drives not needed as much anymore unless you need to have external storage to move around physically with.

    I've never encountered any issues with AMD, even when using the 220W FX9590 and HD60 something, and the RX480. I believe this is just propaganda from Intel. If there are issues, specify them; don't just claim there are issues. Their CPUs and GPUs work well for my computer as someone who does some gaming and light Python programming. In fact, I prefer AMD's software over Nvidia's 3060 panel.

    • @MohammedAllali__
      @MohammedAllali__ 2 месяца назад

      AMD offers a broad array of processors and GPUs for professional and commercial purposes, and even Apple incorporated AMD GPUs in their machines. Their commercial offerings are built on the same architecture employed in gaming. This implies that if their products were inferior, professionals who prioritize their time and money would not continue to use them. However, this notion is nonsensical as I recall encountering countless blue screens with Intel rather than with AMD.
