    I have this same pack. Absolutely a great buy. This is my mid range pack. I have a heavier and a lighter one. I do use mine without the pad (frame). I fold my inflatable sleep pad flat and lay it inside ageist my back. Really comfortable. Enjoy ⛺️

    Great review. Thank you. I have the same pack and I have modified several things on it to save weight. The way I see it for 55.99 USD to my door, if I need to trim a few things or mod anything it's no big deal and it's actually fun when you aren't worried about wrecking a custom 350.00-550.00 USD bag. Heck I even bought a second one to really tear down and mess with. I had great customer service from 3F UL gear and now own several other decently made budget conscious products they make. Thanks again for the super vid. PS. your hip melt has a tear in it at 10:19 in the vid. Easy fix.

      yeah, but you just gotta sew it back together. generic chinese backpacks will start failing in some part after some time, there is no way around it. usually the stitching. but you just got to sew it back yourself and it works again

    I have the 3f 2man trecking pole tent . Great tent . So I know this pack will be great .
    I know they are Chinese knock offs of Z-packs . I cant afford $600 tents and packs .
    That roll top I have been looking at in other packs for awhile . I am getting tired of top brains .

    Thanks Ernie! The annual AliExpress November 11th sale is a good time to get the best deals. I got my pack last year on 11/11 for $51.48 shipped (store = ZDF Outdoor Store). I had to learn how to apply new user coupons and store-specific coupons to the order, to get it that cheap.

    XPAC is a fantastic material unless you get a bad batch that starts to delaminate.
    I'm betting the straps on that bag are Nylike. My Klymit pack uses Nylike. Not too concerned for myself as I only do a few backpacking trips a year. The verdict is still out on that stuff though.

      PaleoHikerMD yeah man your review takes all the teeny tiny reviews and put some together in one big comprehensive review. Thank you. the bag itself is pretty simple which I like. I’m a little itchy about using some thing made in China, but I don’t dwell on it too much. Have you ever thought about reviewing one of the river country tents? River country products is an American co. that puts out some pretty interesting and cheap tents. I have the one man and the 2.2. If you check them out go to their website and not to the Amazon.Have use the one man and it is awesome. Have yet to take the 2.2 out only drawback I see for the 2,2 is that it is ugly and that it has no vestibule. Anyway thanks again keep up the good work if you’re ever in South Carolina I’ll take you to see some places that look just exactly like where you live 😁

    The tariffs that have been imposed on China will probably affect the price in the future.
    I would rather purchase gear that is made in the USA, and yes, I realize that the price would be higher, but the USA had a near $500 Billion trade deficit with China.
    We buy a lot of their stuff, and they don't buy a lot of ours.
    They also steal our technology, and trade secrets.
    I don't really care for the Zpacks backpack, and my top choices on my list are the Gossamer Gear Mariposa 60, the Gossamer Gear Silverback 55, and the Gossamer Gear Gorilla 40.
    I also like the ULA Ohm 2.0, the ULA Circuit, or the ULA Catalyst.
    Super lightweight, super durable, made in the USA.

    • @msilverhammer
      @msilverhammer 5 лет назад

      @@arcana1973 I am not sure of "ALL" of the origins of the fabrics, but would hope that some are manufactured in the USA.
