Actually, if the game is set in 2023, then Springtrap has basically been around for 50 years, and has suffered 30-40 years of decay and neglect (maybe even longer).
Dawko In FNaF2, the Bonnie paper plate doll seems to represent Spring Trap. Some of the features they share include: -the same ear positioning -rips from the eyes down to the jaw -only one button on his chest (Old Bonnie has 2 and Toy Bonnie has none) -the eye on him is white (the Freddy one has yellow eyes instead of white) As for why the paper plate has purple arms, ears, legs and a nose, Spring Trap was kept in poor conditions (dark and wet) and over time he went yellowish-green, rusted, moss started to grow on him and his suit was ripped badly. Also assuming this is the case, could that mean that the paper pal (the paper plate that moves) isn't based on BB? The paper pal seems to have three buttons, no hat, a small nose and a big smile. Although it shares similarities to the Marionette, it doesn't have tears and actually has eyes, so maybe it's another Puppet (an older one that might return in FNaF3).
I honestly think that Springtrap came all the way from the original diner, you know like one of the waiters dressed up like him or him something, since his suit can be worn, and then when the actual pizzeria opened they were like, okay springtrap kind of scared the kids and they just locked him up in storage. I mean if you think about it it kind of makes sense, I mean springtrap looks fricking old. Then the new one opened they took him along, locked him up again and after purple guy killed the kids and died the place got shut down, he was completely forgotten and whatever amount of years later the horror attraction people find him. Spring Trap was one of the old animatronics and were one of the first ones released for the Pizzeria they had only made two animatronics, Golden Freddy and they had also designed an animatronic for people to go in, but it was poorly designed. In Five Nights at Freddy's 3 on the last night, there is a minigame and you play as a spirit of one of the kids murdered by purple guy, it was at a party in Fazzbear's Pizzeria, the child was outside and crying, so that was a chance for purple guy to claim his first victim, one of the Animatronics, Foxy saw the kid outside amd tried to bring them back in, but if an animatronic were to leave the pizzeria, they would shut down, so the Purple guy blamed Foxy for the murder of the child, which is why Foxy doesn't appear in FNaF2. As I was saying, in FNaF3 in the last minigame on night 5, play as the crying child murdered by Purple man, in the last room, supposedly the 'safe' room where Purple man was hiding the whole time, he is scared of the child and then he jumps into what appears to be a Golden Bonny-like shape, he evilly laughs, then the Springlocks in the suit gut him (very brutally) and reduce his breathing, which leads to his death, but the suit somehow is alive, he has adapted to the suit, he is undead basically, you can see his decayed jaw when he opens his mouth. There is the story of how Spring Trap Came alive! And Purple Guy killed! 'o' B)
Maybe Springtrap was a prototype made before Fredbear's family diner existed. I think it was originally a prototype of Bonnie until they came up with a better design for Bonnie. You know like purple instead of yellow and a slightly differently shaped face. So they took the old model for Bonnie and threw him in storage in case they need more spare parts or until they decide what do do with him. A really long time later the children's souls have cornered the purple man and the suit he found was the original Bonnie that was made that nobody knew about. He must've found the storage area where the Fazbear company kept the original Bonnie that they didn't make part of the attraction. What do you guys think eh?
I took further research into the appearance of Spring Trap, and it seems his head shape relates to two other animatronics. Bonnie and BB! Also, the other restaurant left to rot could have had another animatronic related to golden freddy, who could have been at fredbear's diner! this relates to golden freddy's appearance who is old and rotten just like Spring Trap is! Idk man i just thought that! No one will agree with me i know it, but if you do thanks!
It would be pretty cool if there were old recordings from the fnaf 1&2 phone guy about the creation of the animatronic and why it fell into neglect and disrepair (assuming he was present). Of course the explanation for the recordings could be the Fazbear Fright staff found old tapes that discuss its back story, and there could also be a new phone guy who helps us

Its propably referring to the purple man/Phone Guy. Since the phone guy died in fnaf1 4th phone call, its possibly his body stuffed into the "spring trap" and his soul posessed the suit

Nice spelling, I like it plus, shit theory, Jeremy could have been born in late 60s early 70s. At the time Fnaf 3 could potentially be in 2015, Jeremy would be 50-60 years old, while mike on the other hand could be 40 if he was born in the 70s.(my theory is more bullshit than yours)
i think it came from the second restaurant when the kids liked foxy freddy bonnie and chica they left him in the back but after what happend there they forgot about him and probably used his parts (im talking about the restaurant before fnaf 2, the phone guy mentions something happend there) whatever happend there, made the animatronics go nuts and the employees mustve quit and left the place to rot.
Before fnaf 1 there was another location where golden Freddy and springtrap/spring Bonnie were the only animatronics then the crying child got bitten by golden Freddy because of a spring lock failure (bite of 87) and that's why , when purple guy got into the suit there was a spring lock failure and that's how springtrap was made/got his name. He got trapped inside the suit and was rotting
The backstory for Springtrap is… Five children were killed in the first location ( freadbear's family diner) by a strange purple man, then in the second location, (the on,e that was left to decay) five more children were killed. The children were put into the suits by the puppet. Then, the purple man axed the animatronics and let the ghosts free... They trapped him in the safe room… And he was so scared that he jumped into the Springlock Bonnie suit, and laughed, the Springlock's went off, killing him... 30 years later, at the third location, he rose from the dead, given eternal life.

At Fredbear's, there were 2 animatronics. Golden Freddy and golden Bonnie. After a while, the place was shut down and the two animatronics decommissioned. Many years later, Fazbear's fright opened and the shut down and a rotting golden Bonnie was found and put in the safe room for storage. That's when Purple guy got in it and died, causing Springtrap.
The springlocks tripped wen the water seeped into them and killed him even tho they weren't made for killing they were made for animatronic and costume but their made horrible and kill anyone in it so......?

Actually someone got into the file of the troll version of FNAF 3 Scott released the other day, and it has markers for 6 phone calls in it. It's basically FNAF 3 with all the game elements taken out and replaced with This Game Has No Pause Button, but the markers for some things still exist in the actual Clickteam Fusion file that can be extracted out of it.

The red around of the mouth is blood I think coz it could have been one of the night guards that was perhaps running away from them coz the dead children were in the animotronics and maybe the night guard was purple guy?

I read online that this new animatronic, springtrap, is the killer, the purple guy, who had hid in that costume to escape the spirits of the children that he had killed, but in his effort to escape, the costume gutted him, killing him easily. He reanimated like the others.
Yeah, i think that Golden Freddy and Spring Trap are from the Family Diner a long time ago. I believe it only contained the name 'Fredbear' is because at first the original owner had the last name "Fazbear" and the First name, "Fred". At first it was only them, but soon the diner shut down and later they opened the Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, from the 2nd game, also containing a robot with a similar name as the owner, "Freddy Fazbear". :3 just my theory.
She it says "the attraction only has one animatronic" I wonder if that is like in fnaf2 when technically there is only the toy animatronics but the older ones are in the storage cupboard, in wonder if the new game has one animatronic as part of the horror attraction, but some of the older ones come out at night unknowingly tot he attraction staff?
Ok so none of the last 3 games are prequels. It even said in the second game they made the animatronics more kid friendly than the other ones. And 30 years later they made a horror attraction. They all happen in order. My theory is that spring trap is the purple guy. Because in one of the minigames. The purple guy is being chased by the kids. He runs into a room with the spring trap suit in it. He puts on the suit thinking the kids won't recognize him but he breaths on the springs in the suit and it activates and locks and traps him in. Now in one of the phone calls the phone guy says something about the spring locks reacting to moisture. So a dead guy has been rotting in a suit for like 30 something years.
My computer does this thing where it lags out and makes all audio on my computer really slow and eerie, and when he said "and really scary." Scary was like ssscaaaaaaarrrrrrryyyyyyy I nearly died of a heart attack xD.
Since Fredbears closed and thinking spring trap is Fredbear, Fazbear inc. took spring trap to the 1st pizzeria where it was left to root. The Horror attraction went to the basement and found FredBear (SpringTrap).
Since "spring trap" is in a horror attraction building, maybe the name "spring trap" makes sense? Aye? Think about it maybe the people that go in and take a look around the attraction and in a time "spring trap" springs at them and scares them with his scream. But in the night, Spring Trap is still in the jump scare mode that he try's to go to your office and scares you! Srry if it doesn't make any sense.

The location of Fnaf 3 is the original(pre-Fnaf 2) Freddy Fazbears where the firat murder occured. Springtrap is from Fredbears Family Diner, as is Fredbear(Golden Freddy), Marionette.
DAWKO what if at the restrung after Fred bears there was an older Fazbear band and foxy but golden because G F and S T both look like other animatronics (freddy and bonnie) but when the first restraunt closed maybe they changed it because they did look a bit scary or rotten and by changed I mean made a whole new batch of animatronics.

The phone guy mentions that because the animatronics were remodeled, and the souls made their way into them, fnaf 4 takes place in 1983, and fnaf 1 takes place in 1993, the og animatronics were made in 1983, tore apart in 1987, remodeled in 1993 and burnt in the same year. Also, the song is not canon.
Spring trap is bonnie because if u think about it in fnaf 2 bonnie doesn't have a face so purple man gets pieces from other animatronics and puts a face on it but it was left to rot and spring traps name was spring bonnie and bonnie in fnaf 2 the withered version had 5 fingers and that's why it said "first we found empty shells a hand....." Bonnie was missing an arm and the skin for the hand and spring trap was sitting in the same position as withered bonnie was and bonnie was "purplish" blue color and that's why bonnie is standing by the endoskeleton with human eyes and looks at you close with no eyes in the camera and that might be why withered bonnie trys to take the mask away but when withered bonnie leaves shadow bonnie shows up showing that purple man was in him just like the purple Freddy being golden freddy

AND my friend actually said an interesting thing to me that caught my attention. this animatronic is a hybrid right. my friend said about the troll game "freddy runs as fast as the wind, has the bravery to fight dragons and jump spikes, scared out of his mine, and jumps high to fly...." then i replied to him, "wait runs like fox (foxy), bravery of a bear (freddy), scared like a chicken (chica), and jumps like a bunny (bonnie)" i mean it probably doesnt mean anything but it is really weird to me that no youtubers or anybody in the world like thought of a theory about this, im to stupid to think of a whole theory by my self so i just needed to get it out to the public to help me out.

If spring trap had his mouth sown together, how is this picture him/her? What I think is springtrap, golden Freddy, and the darkend pictures might of been the band of Fredbear's family diner. Like Freddy, bonnie and chica are of fazbear entertainmeant. And I almost forgot! The darkened pictures might be like, the yellow or golden chica, like golden Freddy, and, the newest evidence, spring trap, who we saw in the trailer, might be the bonnie. I'm pretty sure that it is the original robot from the diner because in FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDY 1 was around 1991-1994. so if this was 30 years later after that it be in the future and the building looks very modern in the third one. And in the mini game in the second Freddy's game you see a golden robot but it never says that is is golden Freddy. And you were right about everything DAWKO, but in the second Freddy's game you actually play in the diner in a mini game and see a child get shot outside the restaurant. A theory could be that the originals could be 2 robots in the diner which is Freddy and Bonny but because golden Bonny was scary looking they scrapped it. (Because of its teeth, it doesn't look like a family friendly robot.) we know from the end of the FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDY'S 3 that inside Golden Bonny (spring trap) the killer of one of the children was or is inside the suit. But which set of children did he kill? Maybe Golden Bonny was brought to the first Pizzeria and a child ended up putting him inside Spring Trap. But these are just theory....let me know what you think.
Fred bear might have belonged to a band like freddy chica and bonnie spring trap might be from that cast? Does because the map where take cake to the children is really small and holds no chica or bonnie does not mean thats the whole diner foxy`s mini games takes place in only two rooms.
It has to be in the fnaf 2 location because the paper dolls.... The one in the middle definitely resembles Spring Trap an the animatronics were left to rot so maybe they broke them down created the one animatronic and left the rotting rooms the same and converted it into a horror attraction

purple guy is inside springtrap if you brighten up the logo of five nights at freddys 3 you can see a resemblance of a person inside of springtrap if purple guy used springtrap to murder the kids then the spirits of the kids would probably come after him scaring him into the sringtrap suit but when you that person it seems to be red but that makes a lot of sense because if you listen to the phone calls from five nights at freddys 1 phone guy says that there are many sharp objects in the suits and there are more around the facial area so that makes perfect sense because if all of those sharp objects are poking at him it would make sense for him to be red like the color of blood making purple guy lose his purple color and making him red

In Five Nights at Freddy's 3 on the last night, there is a minigame and you play as a spirit of one of the kids murdered by purple guy, it was at a party in Fazzbear's Pizzeria, the child was outside and crying, so that was a chance for purple guy to claim his first victim, one of the Animatronics, Foxy saw the kid outside amd tried to bring them back in, but if an animatronic were to leave the pizzeria, they would shut down, so the Purple guy blamed Foxy for the murder of the child, which is why Foxy doesn't appear in FNaF2. As I was saying, in FNaF3 in the last minigame on night 5, play as the crying child murdered by Purple man, in the last room, supposedly the 'safe' room where Purple man was hiding the whole time, he is scared of the child and then he jumps into what appears to be a Golden Bonny-like shape, he evilly laughs, then the Springlocks in the suit gut him (very brutally) and reduce his breathing, which leads to his death, but the suit somehow is alive, he has adapted to the suit, he is undead basically, you can see his decayed jaw when he opens his mouth. There is the story of how Spring Trap Came alive! And Purple Guy killed! 'o'

Maybe Springtrap was a prototype made before Fredbear's family diner existed. I think it was originally a prototype of Bonnie until they came up with a better design for Bonnie. You know like purple instead of yellow and a slightly differently shaped face. So they took the old model for Bonnie and threw him in storage in case they need more spare parts or until they decide what do do with him. A really long time later the children's souls have cornered the purple man and the suit he found was the original Bonnie that was made that nobody knew about. He must've found the storage area where the Fazbear company kept the original Bonnie that they didn't make part of the attraction. What do you guys think eh?
I took further research into the appearance of Spring Trap, and it seems his head shape relates to two other animatronics. Bonnie and BB! Also, the other restaurant left to rot could have had another animatronic related to golden freddy, who could have been at fredbear's diner! this relates to golden freddy's appearance who is old and rotten just like Spring Trap is! Idk man i just thought that! No one will agree with me i know it, but if you do thanks!
It would be pretty cool if there were old recordings from the fnaf 1&2 phone guy about the creation of the animatronic and why it fell into neglect and disrepair (assuming he was present). Of course the explanation for the recordings could be the Fazbear Fright staff found old tapes that discuss its back story, and there could also be a new phone guy who helps us

Before fnaf 1 there was another location where golden Freddy and springtrap/spring Bonnie were the only animatronics then the crying child got bitten by golden Freddy because of a spring lock failure (bite of 87) and that's why , when purple guy got into the suit there was a spring lock failure and that's how springtrap was made/got his name. He got trapped inside the suit and was rotting
The backstory for Springtrap is… Five children were killed in the first location ( freadbear's family diner) by a strange purple man, then in the second location, (the on,e that was left to decay) five more children were killed. The children were put into the suits by the puppet. Then, the purple man axed the animatronics and let the ghosts free... They trapped him in the safe room… And he was so scared that he jumped into the Springlock Bonnie suit, and laughed, the Springlock's went off, killing him... 30 years later, at the third location, he rose from the dead, given eternal life.
Yup he did that because his son and daughter died his daughter died by baby from sister location and his son you already know.

At Fredbear's, there were 2 animatronics. Golden Freddy and golden Bonnie. After a while, the place was shut down and the two animatronics decommissioned. Many years later, Fazbear's fright opened and the shut down and a rotting golden Bonnie was found and put in the safe room for storage. That's when Purple guy got in it and died, causing Springtrap.
Actually springtrap got his name because a guy hid in the suit and a trap sprang up and killed the guy

Actually someone got into the file of the troll version of FNAF 3 Scott released the other day, and it has markers for 6 phone calls in it. It's basically FNAF 3 with all the game elements taken out and replaced with This Game Has No Pause Button, but the markers for some things still exist in the actual Clickteam Fusion file that can be extracted out of it.

Yeah, i think that Golden Freddy and Spring Trap are from the Family Diner a long time ago. I believe it only contained the name 'Fredbear' is because at first the original owner had the last name "Fazbear" and the First name, "Fred". At first it was only them, but soon the diner shut down and later they opened the Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, from the 2nd game, also containing a robot with a similar name as the owner, "Freddy Fazbear".

Ok so none of the last 3 games are prequels. It even said in the second game they made the animatronics more kid friendly than the other ones. And 30 years later they made a horror attraction. They all happen in order. My theory is that spring trap is the purple guy. Because in one of the minigames. The purple guy is being chased by the kids. He runs into a room with the spring trap suit in it. He puts on the suit thinking the kids won't recognize him but he breaths on the springs in the suit and it activates and locks and traps him in. Now in one of the phone calls the phone guy says something about the spring locks reacting to moisture. So a dead guy has been rotting in a suit for like 30 something years.

Since Fredbears closed and thinking spring trap is Fredbear, Fazbear inc. took spring trap to the 1st pizzeria where it was left to root. The Horror attraction went to the basement and found FredBear (SpringTrap).
Since "spring trap" is in a horror attraction building, maybe the name "spring trap" makes sense? Aye?
Think about it maybe the people that go in and take a look around the attraction and in a time "spring trap" springs at them and scares them with his scream.

In the trailer when scott said He always does springtrap was always in a backroom in fnaf1 fnaf2 but then he was brought out to make the horror attraction and you know another theory? The location of Fnaf 3 is the original(pre-Fnaf 2) Freddy Fazbears where the firat murder occured. Springtrap is from Fredbears Family Diner, as is Fredbear(Golden Freddy), Marionette.
DAWKO what if at the restrung after Fred bears there was an older Fazbear band and foxy but golden because G F and S T both look like other animatronics (freddy and bonnie) but when the first restraunt closed maybe they changed it because they did look a bit scary or rotten and by changed I mean made a whole new batch of animatronics.

The phone guy mentions that because the animatronics were remodeled, and the souls made their way into them, fnaf 4 takes place in 1983, and fnaf 1 takes place in 1993, the og animatronics were made in 1983, tore apart in 1987, remodeled in 1993 and burnt in the same year. Spring trap is bonnie because if u think about it in fnaf 2 bonnie doesn't have a face so purple man gets pieces from other animatronics and puts a face on it but it was left to rot and spring traps name was spring bonnie and bonnie in fnaf 2 the withered version had 5 fingers and that's why it said "first we found empty shells a hand....." Bonnie was missing an arm and the skin for the hand and spring trap was sitting in the same position as withered bonnie was and bonnie was "purplish" blue color and that's why bonnie is standing by the endoskeleton with human eyes and looks at you close with no eyes in the camera and that might be why withered bonnie trys to take the mask away but when withered bonnie leaves shadow bonnie shows up showing that purple man was in him just like the purple Freddy being golden freddy

I had actually came up with the theory a few weeks after people reported seeing the bare endoskeleton.
DAWKO! can i ask a few questions. has anyone actually stopped and think of a reason why the icon and the animatronic from the trailer looks completely different from all the teaser images before the trailer? did anyone stop to think of why the fnaf 3 map upside down is the guy from do not pause and scott comes out with a troll game of that! AND my friend actually said an interesting thing to me that caught my attention. this animatronic is a hybrid right. my friend said about the troll game "freddy runs as fast as the wind, has the bravery to fight dragons and jump spikes, scared out of his mine, and jumps high to fly...." then i replied to him, "wait runs like fox (foxy), bravery of a bear (freddy), scared like a chicken (chica), and jumps like a bunny (bonnie)" i mean it probably doesnt mean anything but it is really weird to me that no youtubers or anybody in the world like thought of a theory about this, im to stupid to think of a whole theory by my self so i just needed to get it out to the public to help me out.
as well as i want to say.... If spring trap had his mouth sown together, how is this picture him/her? What I think is springtrap, golden Freddy, and the darkend pictures might of been the band of Fredbear's family diner. Like Freddy, bonnie and chica are of fazbear entertainmeant. And I almost forgot! I'm pretty sure that it is the original robot from the diner because in FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDY 1 was around 1991-1994. so if this was 30 years later after that it be in the future and the building looks very modern in the third one. And in the mini game in the second Freddy's game you see a golden robot but it never says that is is golden Freddy. And you were right about everything DAWKO, but in the second Freddy's game you actually play in the diner in a mini game and see a child get shot outside the restaurant. A theory could be that the originals could be 2 robots in the diner which is Freddy and Bonny but because golden Bonny was scary looking they scrapped it. (Because of its teeth, it doesn't look like a family friendly robot.) we know from the end of the FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDY'S 3 that inside Golden Bonny (spring trap) the killer of one of the children was or is inside the suit. But which set of children did he kill? Maybe Golden Bonny was brought to the first Pizzeria and a child ended up putting him inside Spring Trap. But these are just theory....let me know what you think.

Fred bear might have belonged to a band like freddy chica and bonnie spring trap might be from that cast? Does because the map where take cake to the children is really small and holds no chica or bonnie does not mean thats the whole diner foxy`s mini games takes place in only two rooms.
It has to be in the fnaf 2 location because the paper dolls.... The one in the middle definitely resembles Spring Trap an the animatronics were left to rot so maybe they broke them down created the one animatronic and left the rotting rooms the same and converted it into a horror attraction

Just a theory but maybe at fred bears diner there were counterparts to all three of the main characters and golden freddy was freddy's counterpart and spring trap is bonnie's counterpart and there is a missing golden chica of sorts somewhere or maybe even a golden foxy. But just a theory.

i think it is phone guy dead possessing to costume to continue his murdering kill streak.... i mean it could be the kids still but we dont know for certain if there is more then 1 animatronic or non animatronic character.... plus the fact that it always says, "he comes back" in like every teaser... and it is kinda clear this animatronic has never been seen before soooo.... maybe it is phone guy possessing him. and all the dead kids roam non animatronic objects actually trieing to help you. because in the trailer at first i thought he was chained.... and in the trailer it also says, "we have a place for him" meaning the possessed kids have a place for him. in this costume, in this room, in this location. there telling him to just get away from us, they killed him finally and now he possesses spring trap. so the dead kids are pissed and say he always comes back, but this time we have a place for him....
