Has anyone else ever thought that Phone Guy might be a witness to the first murders (the ones that happened at the place before FNAF 2) and was just threatened by the murderer to shut the hell up about it? I mean, he's always so nervous and your average murderer would be pretty confident (I think, anyway) The way he covers up stuff makes it almost sound like he's being told exactly what to say. This might explain why he's still nervous in FNAF 1...once you've been blackmailed enough the thought that someone's still listening in never leaves you. He never left the job because he had work to carry out for the murderer...you know, the bodies of the children killed in FNAF 2 had to get into the FNAF 1 animatronics somehow...and since he may have been technically forced into being an accomplice he'd been the one given the bodies. You can't just dump them somewhere if you're scared you'll get found out for having them...and once he realised that the dead children possessing them was killing anyone who took the job he felt guilty for it...explaining why the acting in the end of the night 4 call was so bad.....anyway, out of the inferred depressing subjects. That's just a theory. Plus...the previous guard to Jeremy must have had something to do with the murders, and is even the most likely candidate for who actually killed the children. (Remember, he wasn't given a mask by the engineers, so he must have been the one to screw with the animatronics or had known they were possessed. This is probably how Bonnie lost his face- he realised this was a way of surviving- since you're not wearing his face in FNAF 2, you're wearing a spare of Freddy's. And, the murderer was caught the next day, presumably by using camera footage. Pretty hard to mistake a face. Phone Guy is there 6 years later...if he was the murderer he wouldn't have gotten the job even if he did get out of prison.) Also FNAF 2 takes place in June. Idk why Jeremy gets paid so late. There's stuff about it in one of the newspaper clippings from the first game, it mentions the date of the murders that happened just before night 6.

As for the 'SAVE THEM', 'You Can't', it is actually Phone Guy trying to prevent the stuffing from happening again (the newspapers from FNaF1 were in reference to the previous location mentioned by Phone Guy in FNaF2). After a late night shift, Phone Guy notices the animatronics moving (he's really nervous so he keeps looking behind him (this is why it looks like his eyes are glowing)) and seeing that the Marionette and Freddy were trying to stuff the children again to 'save them', he tried to intervene and stopped Freddy from moving by deactivating him. The real murderer, the Day Shift Guard, almost escaped from the building but was caught by the police after 'Mangle's' police call mechanic actually worked (hence 'he was here' in the files of the game).
What I don't understand is why people automatically assume the purple guy in the minigame is holding a *phone*. That could be his hand (Yaoi hand syndrome lolololol). Because it's the same shade of purple and it's actually connected to him as you can see. If it were that thing you pick up on a phone it would probably be black. But no, it's purple. It's his hand. When he goes out to reach for you, it could be him extending his arm and opening his hand. So maybe Vince isn't the phone guy. But if he isn't... who is?
A note on the demonic phonecall: why would the animatronics 'say' or play that to you when the animatronics are possessed by the children? Maybe that was Springtrap, the murderer. That could explain why he put the children in the suits, he's crazy and is trying to make to suits come to life.

I found a RUclips video that confirms that Phone Guy and Purple Guy is the same Guy. The video is called Ten things you didn't notice about FNAF 4 trailer. They also say that Purple/Phone Guy is also the "green shirt blue jeans" guy from the mini game, Mangle's Quest.
I just realized why he contradicts himself about the place being closed and yet there's a party the next day, maybe he doesn't want him there for some reason? Maybe the animatronics are telling the guard in FNAF 2 something but in the process when you "die" this person gets a heart attack of some sort from the toy animatronics. I have some theories eh. Maybe the restaurant wasn't gonna close right away and it takes time for it to close. Maybe somebody already made a reservation for a birthday party before the event that happened there and it had to be gotten over with before the place can close. We all know Jeremy was the victim of the bite of 87 which happened durring the birthday party? Maybe when Jeremy was in the hospital, when he could speak again somebody must've asked him which animatronic bit him and I'm guessing what he exactly said was "it was the fox." We all know it was the Mangle who did it but he didn't specifically say which fox it was. Since Foxy was much more well known than Mangle everyone assumed it was him. Which was weird cause he was in the parts and service room the whole time. Maybe because he too thought it was Foxy who bit Jeremy that was why phone guy lost interest in Foxy.

There are two different purple people in the minigames, so maybe Phone Guy is the one with the Night Watch badge and Purple Guy is the one who is pink and smiling. Purple Guy is actually the manager of Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria, and also the murderer. But Phone Guy could have helped, or maybe HE was the MAIN murderer. Also, Phone Guy desperately wanted you to check the heads in the Parts room in Fnaf 1 because he was in there, and he is in one of the suits. Golden Freddy isn't presented on any of the cameras because he was hidden away in the Parts room. Phone Guy was in the Golden Freddy suit. He used that suit to lure and murderer children in the daytime, but in the night, he was in that room. That's why before Golden Freddy jumpscares you, he says: "It's Me." The real murderer. He is saying that the murderer is really HIM.

I have an idea. Maybe the purple text in the fnaf 3 trailer is representing the purple person, and "he" is the phone guy. So the purple man has to be the phone guy. This also leads to the theory that Springtrap, or whatever the new character is, has a BRAIN. Maybe the brain, and other body parts of phone guy, were stuffed into the character. That is my theory.
I think I might have a logical theory... Mike Schmidt, the night guard in FNAF1, is the phone guy in FNAF2. In FNAF2, he says he'll probably take the night shift himself when the restaurant re-opens, which he did in FNAF1. The animatronics are trying to kill Mike for what he's done (killed the children in the animatronic suits) and he's quite suspicious in his FNAF2 phone calls. He could also be the phone guy in FNAF3, because he could easily set the place on fire, and his phone call on night 1 says something about hopefully nothing catching on fire. Welllllllllll.... Night 6 phone call does kinda make sense because he said that they have ONE more event. A birthday party. And they probably doing a private birthday party before they close down. So if you thinking about, Night 6 phone call does make sense.
Phone guy IS the murderer/purple man eh! In fnaf1 we heard phone guy die when we heard an animatronic's scream. In the fnaf3 mini game on night 5 we saw the souls of the children he murdered find him. Maybe that low pitched, slow motioned scream was from the children's ghosts. Then the phone went out after they found him and screamed. Or maybe when phone guy/purple man tried to hide by disguising himself as an animatronic he forgot something he mentioned himself on the phone. The suits were filled with crossbeams, wires and animatronic devices that I believe would penetrate your skin and flesh and electrocute you from the inside. Which is fatal especially around the facial area. I think phone guy mentioned something about your eyes sticking outside your sockets or something like that. We obviously saw the suit kill the purple man. Maybe while the purple man was bleeding and dying he was the one who made the scream while inside the suit. Of course I could be wrong. Besides phone guy wasn't in the third game. He was replaced by some hip teen sounding guy. I know we heard phone guy's voice later but the new phone guy said it was a recorded message he found.
However if phone guy was a part of the murders well he can't be the purple man since purple man actually dies in the springtrap suit and the other pinkish purple guy I believe was taken in as they called him the murderer but he was an accomplice maybe someone just bringing the children into the back room where the purple guy kills them. In fnaf 1 the phone guy/purple guy was hiding from animaltronics, in the 2nd he was braver and started fighting animaltronics and I'm the 3rd one he killed animaltronics for your safety but turned into spring trap /phantom bonnie and gave lives to the other animaltronics and they became phantoms so as the phone guy was missing, the pink guy became the new phone guy
Dawko the phone guy probably knows what to do even though he hasn't become a night guard because he has seen what the animatronics did at night. That is why he says I never liked the marionette.

I think I have a theory phone guy dresses in A animatronic like costume so he acts like A animatronic so the C E O will think he's an animatronic so what he's trying to do is he's trying to get in the security guards office so he can murder the security guard. So all those messages he always does he'll come back are just messages referring to the phone guy coming back to the place to start the murders again like last time. Maybe just a theory.

I have some theories eh. Maybe the restaurant wasn't gonna close right away and it takes time for it to close. Maybe somebody already made a reservation for a birthday party before the event that happened there and it had to be gotten over with before the place can close. We all know Jeremy was the victim of the bite of 87 which happened durring the birthday party? Maybe when Jeremy was in the hospital, when he could speak again somebody must've asked him which animatronic bit him and I'm guessing what he exactly said was "it was the fox." We all know it was the Mangle who did it but he didn't specifically say which fox it was. Since Foxy was much more well known than Mangle everyone assumed it was him. Which was weird cause he was in the parts and service room the whole time. Maybe because he too thought it was Foxy who bit Jeremy that was why phone guy lost interest in Foxy.
Just an idea that's already been thrown around, and you've probably heard it before, Dawko, but what if the reason that they say "summer job" but the date is 11-12-87, is because it takes place in Australia, or something? And the phone guy having an American accent anyway could just be because he moved there? Who knows, just throwing out ideas?

There are two different purple people in the minigames, so maybe Phone Guy is the one with the Night Watch badge and Purple Guy is the one who is pink and smiling. Purple Guy is actually the manager of Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria, and also the murderer. But Phone Guy could have helped, or maybe HE was the MAIN murderer.
Also, Phone Guy desperately wanted you to check the heads in the Parts room in Fnaf 1 because he was in there, and he is in one of the suits. Golden Freddy isn't presented on any of the cameras because he was hidden away in the Parts room. Phone Guy was in the Golden Freddy suit. He used that suit to lure and murderer children in the daytime, but in the night, he was in that room. That's why before Golden Freddy jumpscares you, he says: "It's Me." The real murderer. He is saying that the murderer is really HIM.

He was the MAIN murderer that did most of the killing in Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, and he is still alive. That's why the teaser for Fnaf 3 says: "He will always be back.." Phone Guy WILL return.

I have an idea. Maybe the purple text in the fnaf 3 trailer is representing the purple person, and "he" is the phone guy.
So the purple man has to be the phone guy. This also leads to the theory that Springtrap, or whatever the new character is, has a BRAIN. Maybe the brain, and other body parts of phone guy, were stuffed into the character. That is my theory.

Mike Schmidt, the night guard in FNAF1, is the phone guy in FNAF2. In FNAF2, he says he'll probably take the night shift himself when the restaurant re-opens, which he did in FNAF1. The animatronics are trying to kill Mike for what he's done (killed the children in the animatronic suits) and he's quite suspicious in his FNAF2 phone calls. He could also be the phone guy in FNAF3, because he could easily set the place on fire, and his phone call on night 1 says something about hopefully nothing catching on fire. He keeps having hallucinations of other children that had possessed other animatronics that are phantoms in FNAF3.

Phone guy IS the murderer/purple man eh! In fnaf1 we heard phone guy die when we heard an animatronic's scream. In the fnaf3 mini game on night 5 we saw the souls of the children he murdered find him. Maybe that low pitched, slow motioned scream was from the children's ghosts. Then the phone went out after they found him and screamed. Or maybe when phone guy/purple man tried to hide by disguising himself as an animatronic he forgot something he mentioned himself on the phone. The suits were filled with crossbeams, wires and animatronic devices that I believe would penetrate your skin and flesh and electrocute you from the inside. Which is fatal especially around the facial area. I think phone guy mentioned something about your eyes sticking outside your sockets or something like that. We obviously saw the suit kill the purple man. Maybe while the purple man was bleeding and dying he was the one who made the scream while inside the suit. Of course I could be wrong. Besides phone guy wasn't in the third game. He was replaced by some hip teen sounding guy. I know we heard phone guy's voice later but the new phone guy said it was a recorded message he found.
However if phone guy was a part of the murders well he can't be the purple man since purple man actually dies in the springtrap suit and the other pinkish purple guy I believe was taken in as they called him the murderer but he was an accomplice maybe someone just bringing the children into the back room where the purple guy kills them. But if he was caught there would be no way he could have recorded the messages about the place in the first game because he would have no knowledge of that place behind bars. Phone guy is NOT the purple man.
