Why do u have Derrick roses picture for your profile? And this house is two blocks from mine it's the only one that has this Venetian layout like is a villa in Venice. No other houses r like this around here. we always joked about it when they were building it saying it looked a little outta place for around here even though it was beautiful. But as far as it looking like a 2nd RATE middle eastern restaurant on Devon. I'm gonna disagree with. Because places like DanDanna n Al-Hambra r some of the most popular Arab joints on Chicago's Northside n they look like a shack compared to this
LMAO cracked me up especially since at one point i lived in west rogers park. I would simply call that drive from devon & kedzie to about devon & damen, India. Tell my boys yoo head down India & i'll meet you at western. And of course I said India with an accent like an asshole.

I lived in Burr Ridge, Illinois during high school and my mother remained there up to circa 1997, but Burr Ridge has nice homes but nothing like this one in our time. I graduated high school in 1966, had some college then enlisted in 1968.

I remember that this house was built by some dentist of Indian or Pakistani nationality. Supposedly after it was completed,his wife decided she didn't want to relocate here(I don't remember where they actually lived). While the house sat idly for years,the agency that was trying to sell it didn't monitor the house carefully and at some point pipes froze and then burst flooding the house and doing MUCH damage. Obviously,whoever owned it most recently had to do a major renovation to get the interior to this point.

GeaDonna Moore There is no pool the Dentist had designs on purchasing the house next door to expand the property. Even went as far to put the owner under contract for it.
This place will never sell. Its on busy corner Plainfield Rd and Countyline (on the Cook County side of countyline road no less). Nothing in the grounds (pool, tennis court, putting green, nothing). For $10mill you could buy 2 or 3 much better properties on the DuPage county side of Countyline road. This place has never been lived in (except for some squatters for a while), was flooded when pipes broke, and was built by an Indian dentist who got done for sexual harassment. Bad Kama on this place.

Whoever gets to own and live in this 'house' if they have a baby that starts to crawl, please make sure to use one of those pretty pieces of jewelry that you put around their ankle with the bells on it. We all know when they are that little they can move so fast so with a home this size when the baby get to going by crawling around the floors of this massive thing keep eye or if they get out of site as least you will be able to hear them moving about, wherever they may be in this huge house of a thing. The Palace Royale. The name of this house sounds like something from double O 7. I do like the size of the garage versus one door to each garage. I like the one entrance to a multiple car garage, although it is still to small to house all of my vehicles. I'm only playing. I don't have many vehicles. I do like the garage though. Wow!
So glad I sold it.
They screwed up the house after the gigantic flood none of the hardwood floors match the woodwork now.

This mansion was built and owned by a middle eastern arab dentist Doctor who owned multiple locations, the stones of that mansion were ordered from Middle East. Later that mansion was flooded by a pipe burst in the 2nd floor I believe about 5 million gallons of water spilled in that mansion, and some other issue regarding taxes. So the issue of that was the flooded water

I drove a limousine for a few years 18 to be exact had a few clients there in Burr Ridge drove past this place quite a few times it is massive, beautiful but much too big, I couldn't live in that place it would have to be strictly for parties.

The new realtor has put up large bushes and trees you can’t even see it from the streets anymore. She stuck a sign up out front and that’s it. They’ve came down on the price so many times nobody is biting. If they would rent it out as an event space it would make money.

Finally SOLD!!! Originally listed for $25 million, sold for 3 million. Wish the buyer well.... this house has had a big history with the builders and fraud and money problems, there was a break in, and illegally occupied for a while, apparently a drug deal went south and somebody died in it, A pipe burst in the house and flooded it with 11,000 gallons I believe... Two months before selling there was a fire. Not making any of this up!

Ben Stefani is half right. The palace belonged to a drug kingpin, I'm not sure if he had a connection with Guzman or not. Sounds unlikely. There is a rumor that the owner (drug dealer or not) murdered someone in the house. The police turned-up nothing though.

I would say, this house would be perfect for multiple generations family, wealthy of course, with full house stuff. Chef, house keeper, maid. Royal style……. It is a beautiful place……. Overall…… I personally don’t like it and never would like to live there……. But vacation there would be nice 🙃
