Jordan was once dropped from his high school basket ball team.......later on in life he build this mansion with his hardwork and never giving up attitude!
right?I thought I was the only one getting that vibe...I mean the house itself looked impressive, but the interior and furniture did look a bit dated. and some of the marbles they used scream 90s to me
1994 it was built. That’s why the property is hideous. It’s the worst decade for architecture. Especially for opulence sake. No one with that amount of money would actually want to live there. That’s just the truth. Fandom for Michael Jordan can’t fix how ugly that house is
One day, my wife and I went out looking for a place to live…. We found this beautiful gated community house in Northern California…. The place was gigantic, 2 floors, tons of bathrooms, rooms, one could barely hear anyone else throughout the house… Soooo, we came to a conclusion that the place was too big for a family of four and 2 dogs, with family barely visiting since they live abroad…. It was beautiful!!! Yet, it was dead! No warmth, no closeness…. Sooo, we decided for a smaller place, a place where we could find each other in less than 2 minutes, right on the water, cozy, warmth, we still had a nice back yard, a dock to go out with the kayaks, bbq area…. We were super happy! We were super close to each other…. Great decision…. Sometimes the smaller, the better! Still, Mr. Jordan’s is a beautiful place! Hope he was able to really enjoy it! 🤞🤞🤞🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆

Were you watching the split screens on Fox TV the evening they announced the O.J. Simpson verdict? The souf-side bar went APESHITE WILD. The northside bar went QUIET WITH SHOCK. Does that tell you we've not yet and never will achieve equality?
the tranquility emanating from the green spaces and the water elements just perfectly matches the rounded details of the buildings. In addition, it must also be emphasized that the building complex, despite its actual size, does not appear bulky at all, since the trees are very close. Just a great graceful living space
That pool room reminds me of that wild shirt/shorts we had in 90s..the red ones with wild graphics and colors just like those neon lights. I have Nike North Carolina jersey still new bought from eastbay..iversons g town also..
I've driven pass this house on many occasions with only a view of the iconic 23 on the gate. I literally feel like I just finished a guided tour by an historian on one of the most iconic celebrity homes I can think of. Much of MJ has been a mystery for as long as I'm sure we all can remember. Granting Enes and crew this once in a lifetime exp and allowing us to tag along is nothing short of priceless. You're raising the bar pretty high Enes.
For those that dont know, he has been trying to sell this property for over 10 years now. Jordan currently lives in Florida at his newly built mansion.
I love this channel and I liked the tour..but ngl that's why I found the title a lil bit clickbait-ish. "Michael Jordan's former residence" ..something like that ...would have been a better title Imo. As you said, nobody wants to buy the house for now, so I guess that’s technically still his mansion ..but yeah you're correct.

This home is pure class. Every detail, clean lines, layout, amenities...simply amazing. I see people buying smaller properties for $40 million. At $14million this is a steal for the right buyer.
The yearly maintenance cost and property tax is what has this house on the market for years. You have to be one of the elites to afford this house and none of them want it.
@@pdub8043 heard you there. Best then an invester buy it for a museum and public event use. Or as a summer pad for top athletes on the come up so they can see what hard work can deliver. The place having being built in 1995 showcases architects serious skills and attention to detail.
The Jordan property exemplifies the problem, where one makes something to their taste, that may not be appreciated by others. It goes to vehicles also, where the customizing makes it unique. When there, use the celebrity factor as an advantage. As I reall, this property was reduced more than once, where yes, for the right buyer.

I'm from Chicago and Highland Park where this house is located is not Chicago. It's not even Cook County.. It's in the rich, wealthy suburbs of Lake County. There is a huge difference. This house has been for sale for what feels like forever and MJ hasn't lived there in over 20+ years. I know parts of it have been "updated" but its still to customized and esp the front door with the cubed glass still looks like its from the 90s. 14 million and you can't even get rid of the furniture to make room for your own furniture in the house? Thats crazy.
It's very possible to put an offer with condition on the furniture. I'm sure it's possible to make a new clause saying it can be sold without mentioning where it came from and without any markups linked previous owner.
The editing of your videos are getting better and better. The opening sequence to this video was top notch. Keep up the great work of showing us these amazing homes, boats, and RVs.
The house has been for sale for 10 years... a great demonstration of super luxe custom homes- the person who builds it is the only one who loves it (or maybe can afford it).
Definitely too customised, why on earth would anyone buy a shrine to someone else. Not to mention it looks like a community college. 14 million dollars id build my own 🤣
Agree, Im a fan indeed but too customized and a new owner cant sell any furnishings to make it their own! Too 'nany refundant rooms, how to repurpose if cant get rid of any furnishings? This place not a home but a shrine especially e.g. MJ logo everyhere, design details for him alone& as stated on the sale none of the furniture can ever be sold! The idea for Chicago organizaton by it use it first as training, club events, etc best idea 1% or less would be interested buying this at any price! Again if it ca'nt be altered? removed? better have storage some where!
Perhaps that house would work better as Jordan's personal museum or something like that, it is so customised but also an architectural peace from the 90s, all those circular shapes and woodwork are really cool but I don't know who in the world needs it.
He needs the money apparently cuz selling out to China wasn't sufficiently funding his life. Either he doesn't want to have that much space anymore (people seem to do that often, when they get to a certain age, they just buy an apartment because its cheaper to maintain plus they prefer the convenience of less space ig)

So cool to see this estate. MJ was thee coolest as a 90’s kid, to me there will never be anyone like him. Thanks for the video 🙏
It's such a unique property. Whoever buys would need to be a HUGE MJ fan to keep all the MJ imagery. I definitely agree that this should be bought by the Bulls as a museum piece/training camp for the team.
weird that they cant sell any furniture.
He has been trying to sell it for a really long time. No one wants it for the price. it's way too personalized
@Romeo Stolze build cost was 50m, so not really charging 2m for the court, its a free bee!
It is too expensive and probably huge maintenance/tax bills. Probably the reason why MJ is selling it....
The house is very well, but the furniture is ugly, so brown
you've outdone yourself man. this is epic.
Thank you Enes & Co. for your attention to detail and giving us access to see these marvelous pieces of architecture. Much love from Colorado ✌️
happy to hear that!

What's really impressive and impossible not to notice is the attention and work that were invested into the finest details in every bedroom, bathroom, wine cellar, common area, entertainment room, front entrance, kitchen, guest house, etc, etc, etc. Absolutely stunning interior design and construction.
Hindsight is always 20/20. I had no idea as a kid in the 80's and 90's that I was witnessing the greatest player of all time. I just understood that he was really good. Nobody knew back then that he would still hold records decades later.
I worked there as a security guard for a security firm during the lasts few weeks of phases of the finishing of the estate. It was non the less, even more beautiful walking through it. I was at awe standing on the the original CB hard wood floor.

The home is really amazing you can actually tell a lot of the stuff was from the '90s based off the color and that architecture and then you can see the little subtle hints of new renovation was crazy how a home can tell you so much about the times I love it ❤️
Shockingly, they left the kitchen flooring tiles -- the small scale of the tile is really an eyesore for such an expensive property.
It's unfortunate the buyer can't get rid of the 90's furniture by selling it. I personally would donate those outdated furnitures as well as those 90's NEC rectangular TV's. The floor on the kitchen needs updating too.

Yes like 2 decades old. You buy it you have to tear it apart and redo everything.
1994 it was built. That’s why the property is hideous. It’s the worst decade for architecture. Especially for opulence sake. No one with that amount of money would actually want to live there. That’s just the truth. Fandom for Michael Jordan can’t fix how ugly that house is
@@czogg99 3 decades ago they broke ground on the home to build it… so it’s even worse haha
Who is watching this after hearing it finally sold?
Me😂
One day, my wife and I went out looking for a place to live…. We found this beautiful gated community house in Northern California…. The place was gigantic, 2 floors, tons of bathrooms, rooms, one could barely hear anyone else throughout the house…
Soooo, we came to a conclusion that the place was too big for a family of four and 2 dogs, with family barely visiting since they live abroad….
I agree
I like smaller but still spacious though
I agree totally, to each his own , I see no purpose in such a large extravagant home , obviously no one else does either , that's why It's been on the market for fifteen years , in Highland Park , there is a view of Lake Michigan at his back yard

You're raising the bar pretty high Enes.
For those that dont know, he has been trying to sell this property for over 10 years now. Jordan currently lives in Florida at his newly built mansion.
People are too ignorant about the “Location” like really, do no one purchases $10m+ homes outside of overrated California?
I love this channel and I liked the tour..but ngl that's why I found the title a lil bit clickbait-ish. This home is pure class. Every detail, clean lines, layout, amenities...simply amazing. I see people buying smaller properties for $40 million. At $14million this is a steal for the right buyer.
The yearly maintenance cost and property tax is what has this house on the market for years. You have to be one of the elites to afford this house and none of them want it.
is that why its on the market list for more than 10years? 😂🤣😅
lol 3 of the lights were out in his basketball court and also millionaires want a house of their own style not with mj all over it
@@pdub8043 heard you there. Best then an invester buy it for a museum and public event use. Or as a summer pad for top athletes on the come up so they can see what hard work can deliver. The place having being built in 1995 showcases architects serious skills and attention to detail.
The Jordan property exemplifies the problem, where one makes something to their taste, that may not be
appreciated by others. It goes to vehicles also, where the customizing makes it unique. When there, use
the celebrity factor as an advantage. As I reall, this property was reduced more than once, where yes, for
the right buyer.

Thats crazy.
it's most likely for somebody who is a true crazy mj fan. i think thats the idea
It's very possible to put an offer with condition on the furniture. I'm sure it's possible to make a new clause saying it can be sold without mentioning where it came from and without any markups linked previous owner.
Same here in California tourist call everything in Southern California LA 😂😂😂😂
I think they said you can't sell the furniture. You could still get rid of it and store it if you have the money to buy a $14,000,000+ mansion.
I know, I love his house but you should be able to personalize it for your own taste. We share the same birthday. I wish I could afford it.
The editing of your videos are getting better and better. The opening sequence to this video was top notch. Keep up the great work of showing us these amazing homes, boats, and RVs.

Wow, thank you!
I get some art deco vibes from this mansion, also very 90's vibes. Totally over the top.
The idea for Chicago organizaton by it use it first as training, club events, etc best idea
1% or less would be interested buying this at any price! Again if it ca'nt be altered? removed? better have storage some where!
Perhaps that house would work better as Jordan's personal museum or something like that, it is so customised but also an architectural peace from the 90s, all those circular shapes and woodwork are really cool but I don't know who in the world needs it.
I would turn it into a hotel/museum I would never sell it...
He needs the money apparently cuz selling out to China wasn't sufficiently funding his life. Either he doesn't want to have that much space anymore (people seem to do that often, when they get to a certain age, they just buy an apartment because its cheaper to maintain plus they prefer the convenience of less space ig)
