Toss and turn side sleeper here. Each one has it's pros for me. I primarily use the F30i and I like that I can disconnect the hose by unclipping at the top when I need to use the restroom during the night. I like the accordion style give of the F30i. But for the dreamwear, I like the fact that there is no divider where the nose cushion is. You have to align juuuust right in that area for F30i. I like the back of the head gear support better on the dreamwear, but the magnets on the F30i are superior. I may just clip my F30i cushion in the middle and try that :)
did clipping the divider work? I have the same issue.
I hate the nasal slit in f30i
So happy to see you back making videos.
Thank you. Appreciate the support of the channel!
I have recently switched to an N30i, which I’m very pleased with. I was looking to pick up a full face mask for days where I have nasal congestion. I was deciding between the 2 gone over here. Great video, well paced, and very informative. Exactly the information I was looking for.
Glad your back making videos
Thanks Frank!
Have the F30i for a few weeks. Also tried the F20. Feels like less air in the F30i and not convinced that it's allowing my exhaust air to escape. Inside the mask gets hot and humid but air coming from the CPAP is cool. Went to the f20 and feels like I have more airflow and less of the hot humid exhaust air but had issues with comfort (one morning the mask popped my ear/jaw joint, another it moved up poking me in the eyebrow. Had it tight.
Returned to the F30i and raised the air pressure and added EPR, helped some.
At this point I'm feeling it's the tiny air chamber compared to the F20. Also compared to my old fisher and paykel 234 which is larger and way more exhaust holes, no hot air issues.
This is by far the best review comparison i've seen on this mask. I failed to get the Philips to work as i could not get a good seal to stay (after i remeasured myself with their tool when the RT at Lincare gave me the wrong size). But i can somewhat get it to work until i lay on my side i feel starved for air which doesn't happen when one side is not collapsed. The Resmed looks to have larger channels and much better fit around the nose. We'll see I have one on the way to try out.
Hi James! All the best and good luck. 👍
Troubling to hear because the f30i has been disastrous for me. It’s the first mask where I saw the 😡 on my machine indicating a leak no matter how I adjusted the headgear. My doc is highly recommend the Dreamwear full face because of that reason. Best of sleep to you. 🤟🏼
Very helpful and that tip about doing nose first was not something I had heard shared in other mask reviews, but was great to know
Glad it helped :)
I will let you know shortly. I am just now getting back to my CPAP therapy, but with Oxygen. I know I need this, but I cannot sleep in a regular bed, so I sleep in a recliner. Maybe now the mask won't hurt as bad, or not at all.
I I just got the thr AirFit F30i.
I'm using a size S.
When I go into my shallow breathing, the air flow increases, and I start hearing and feeling leaks around the mouth part.
My provider advised me to use vasoline on my skin where the air tubes come down my checks because I had a slight reaction to the material. Plus, doing this i has helped my skin to smooth out, and wrinkles are fading away. (I'm 71)
Otherwise, I love this mask much better than ithers I've tried
I use the F30i Large Frame and Med cushion and standard strapping system (Resmed Airsense 11 Auto CPAP). This is one of the most important things I own and the best. I did use the F30, but experienced leakage at the nose and sides of my mouth. I sleep better with the F30i and my events have been cut in half!
Thanks for sharing!
Thank you for the video. I’ve been doing cpap therapy almost 3 years now with my ResMed for her airsense 10, and really struggled with masks as a mouth breather because of nasal breathing issues. The f30 was the most comfortable full face mask for me but I also toss and turn a lot. My ENT had me start continuously using Flonase to hopefully help with my enlarged turbinates and avoid reduction surgery. It has helped a lot and I’ve been able to use the ResMed n30i since last September but have now been experiencing some congestion with seasonal allergies. I was interested in the f30i instead of my f30 but wasn’t sure where to start. If the standard frame fits me for the n30i can I assume the same for the frame with the f30i? I know the cushions for my f30 are size small so at least I know what size I need there.
I recently had to change my CPAP supplies provider due to Medicare changes, and the new supplier substituted a Phillips Respironics DreamWear full face mask for the ResMed F30i full face mask that I've used for 2 years. I wore the DreamWear last night for the first time, and you are 100% correct. The DreamWear (#1133376) is inferior to the ResMed F30i. It even feels cheap and flimsy compared to the F30i. I'm not happy.
Unfortunately, you are subjected to who offers the cheapest resupplies.

I complained to the supplier and was given a ResMed F30i. I asked if she wanted the two Philips Respironics DreamWear masks returned, and she said "no, just throw them away."
Ordered one yesterday, have my fingers crossed. Tried the N20 the other night, had a horrible time with it; over 35 eph.
Muy bueno resmed😊
You just sold me on the Philips... thanks for the comparison.
I definitely love Airfit f30i but there are some disadvantages coming with them. First, the band quality is rubbish. In the first few months it doesn't stretch and holds firm but it gets too loosen a few months and it barely attaches the end. Moreover, the spare headband is also very expensive and non-officials are not designed for this mask. Secondly, main parts are so fragile and the left side tube connection's end clicker got broken in the first few months. The set is not so cheap as you know. It should have better quality at all because this is a health product and there is nothing good about robbing people.
Not able to get a good seal with my f30i
I still have to use tape because my cheeks blow up like balloons
I have had this mask for a week. I am still working on caging the water level. I am having some problems keeping the mask on the whole night. For some reason, it would not give me a tight seal around the mouth. I am still trying to get use to it.
What size are you currently using?
@@USAMedicalSupply F30i s
Last night, the mask was okay. My water didn't last the entire night.
Go to manual setting on humidifier and tweak the settings might by night so it doesn’t happen.
Size does matter. I tried the medium at first & ended up with the wide even though the size graph showed the medium as a better fit. I also started having more leaks after wearing it for a week, so I tightened up the straps a bit, which made it worse. I loosened the straps some & then got a good seal. I wonder if some people tighten the straps too much & it squishes the soft silicone too much and makes certain areas leak.
What are the holes for they make alot of noise somtimes
Proper air exchange so you can exhale Co2 properly.
What about if you have goatee. Will it leak???
Yes, I have the F30i and I find even if I don't shave for 4-5 days it doesn't seal very well.
Don't care much for the magnetic clasps and it looks like a nightmare to clean...I have a high pressure setting (24-18) and I'm constantly replacing headgear from having to tighten it down to get a good seal
That’s a high pressure John. Bilevel 24/18? What do you use for a mask?
@@USAMedicalSupply I use the Mirage Quattro and yes it's bi-level
Oldie but goodie. Great mask 👍
How does the F30i work for full denture wearers? Would I have to keep them in all night?
You don’t take out the dentures before bed?
@@USAMedicalSupply Yes but I heard a suggestion that a full face mask won't fit properly on someone without dentures/teeth because there is less support for the lips and cheeks and hence the mask. The lips in particular become more flabby without having teeth as support. I'm hoping that's not right.
Everyone is different. Would love for you try it and let us know how it worked out for you?
@@USAMedicalSupply I managed to find the F30i locally. It fits just fine without dentures. Only used it one night but, so far, very happy with it.
Very biased person
