From the bridge (when Rina starts singing in Japanese) at 4:13 until the end of the song, I have goosebumps every single time. I love this song!
    Thank you Ryan

Great review as always. Thank you very much for this one. This song is absolutely fantastic and perfect in every way, including the quality of the video.
Speaking of Li-sa-X, you should really react to her latest music video "Looking Up To You", quite different from this one, but this is another masterpiece (imho) in terms of songwriting, guitar playing, vocals, and also video production.
To be honest: I consider we are very lucky to live at the same period of time and on the same planet than these amazing musicians.

She's a great versatile player even though she's better at shredding than other styles at this moment. Having said that I've watched her videos where she plays some awesome bluesy tunes reminiscent of Jeff Beck. She's still young so I'm looking forward to what she'll come up with in the future.

The word “prodigy” gets thrown around way too much. In this case, it is fully deserved. Lisa-X has been posting music on youtube since she was seven, did credible covers of Dream Theater and Polyphia at 10, and has had her own band since she was 13. The main regulars are Rina on vocals and Hazuki, formerly of Disqualia and now one of the twin shredders in Nemophila. Lisa-X is 16 as of this writing.
Here are some links worth checking out. The first one is her 2017 appearance at the annual female rock festival organized by Show-Ya-she is up there with some of the best guitarists in the world and they clearly love sharing the stage with her. The third one is her collaboration with the even younger drum phenom, Yoyoka Soma, who is herself a force of nature.
    At NaonのYaon (age 12): ruclips.net/video/hbeW7Yuf-a0/видео.html
    With Hazuki: ruclips.net/video/mN_oLqTka6M/видео.html
    With Yoyoka: ruclips.net/video/B97HKxg4Cwk/видео.html
With Billy Sheehan (!) on bass: ruclips.net/video/PzsqmnEa89c/видео.html
Overall, rock is not only in good hands, but arguably has been taken over by Japanese women. The future looks great!

I used to think this was right in Hazuki's wheelhouse, since her band mate from Disqualia (forgot her name rolleyes) went in a similar direction. Then I found out she is a big Children of Bodom fan... Stealthy...lol

Will be interesting to see if this becomes something or if it was just a one off. It was some good experience for Lisa-X and we got a pretty cool song out of it so it was definitely a worthwhile endeavor.

It’s a band (of these three and a producer). With covid, high school, and Nemophila, and no touring rhythm section, they lost momentum , but they have new stuff in the pipeline

    Do you know Yoyoka?
Billy Sheehan has played bass with her also.
And a few weeks ago Li-Sa X played guitar with Yoyoka for her 12th birthday jam.

Amongst the many Li-Sa-X videos, I recommand this one, where she goes back in time to show her evolution ... from age 2 . It's otherworldly! ruclips.net/video/eqnJpXmt_jU/видео.html

Ya, & many of the world class people she’s jammed with: Guthrie Govan, Bumblefoot, Mateus Asato, Kiko Loureiro, Jason Richardson, Polyphia, Yoyo(China), of course her instructor Paul Gilbert. I’d like to get her with Jeff loom is, then she’ll be ready to vie for best in the world. (Vie, Vai, see what I did there? 😉💃🎸😎)
How could I forget her first backing band, 3/5s of Disqualia (RisaRisa drums Destrose, Hazuki of course, and Narumi who toured with Aldious, and as the 3, back Rami(exAldious). Narumi’s solo album Seed and LisaX’s solo album Will (age 13) were produced by the same guy (Fuki, Lightbringer, assist on Doll$Boxx, Disqualia, many more), and they are both Awesome.

Lisa-X is a true prodigy for sure.
You should consider reacting Yoyoka as well since she is a future Akane from Japan.

Jazzy King Crimson or mellower Liquid Tension Experiment. Kind of reminds me of that. A more "mature" style of metal.

As Yoda says, “there is another”. RoiLoiRo is a band of brother, sister, & drummer (just like Elephant gym I just realized!”) Ototo(sp?) is the guirist, Nene is the bass player. Here they are with guest singer & drummer doing a tv show with the host on keys, doing the wildly popular (& controversial) song Usewa (Shutup). Nene is only barely a prodigy (plays at adult level, not world class), but people ask how they get so good? She just started first grade. Brother is 8, singer 10, drummer 12… record this reaction!
      ruclips.net/video/HraQLcH01D0/видео.html
Nene has already had coaching from FChopperKoga, MartyFriedman, and more, and here they play a session as MiniMiniBand with TomoZo and Yuri from Gacharic Spin (TomoZo is the only one who’s anywhere close to 5teet tall). Notice how at times Nene leads the session, at the end directing “ok, only it’ll only take one more try” or some such
      ruclips.net/video/umA99nJJ9bg/видео.html
Not to neglect the drummer, here he is, barely 7, covering GS Mindset, only about 2days after it was released ruclips.net/video/4ta4VjNxr5o/видео.html
And thanks for prompting me to look them up, seems they did another cover with the Usewa (cover) singer, I’ll be checking that next.
I guess I didn’t mention, but they have originals on their channel. Some good, some so-so, Kidd’s voices, but hey, I don’t have any!

Nice reaction and yes these young player from Japan (and elsewhere) are truly amazing, pretty sure Li-sa was 16 here. BIlly Sheehan has been helping out a number of talented young Japan artists like Li-sa and the drumming prodigy Yoyoka. He helped with a cover of "Take Cover" (M. Big) with Yoyoka when she was 10 along with singer Paulie Z and Brandon Paul on guitar - ruclips.net/video/7ozwshauRJs/видео.html
