I got the base model off a bartender for about $1k, literally did nothing but 1 oil change in SIX TOTAL YEARS, car ran like an absolute champ. Zero issues, didn't even need a wiper blade. What finally killed it was the rusty gas tank seam started to leak after a steep driveway. So rusted of a car you could reach through the outside of the door into the window motor area, giant hole. Still ran like a champ.
Pretty cheap in Canada, got my B4 RSK for $3000 but the JDM twin turbo has to be tuned for local gas unless you have 100 octane nearby. Mine is making 340hp and it is a manual, that is way faster than the auto, also more.
