Yes please, make new videos. We newbies really appreciate the veterans and what they have to say. And we can always ask you questions as well, so please post videos.
I would love to see more videos from you. I watched all of your videos from the very beginning when I was researching my vsg surgery. I think more people that are farther out should make videos. Talk about whatever you wish but I personally would like them to focus a little more on weight loss/maintenance stuff/revision stuff.
I got a pixie cut as well - after my revision, my hair came in super crazy curly. I personally am looking forward to hearing about your conversion/revision journey. I also love hair, makeup, nails, etc. so that would be fun as well. Did not know you were doing Color Street - I would be happy to order from you. I will PM you.
Welcome back! Also self pay in MX so did all my own research as well as control over my health. 4 yrs out and been able to keep off my 120 loss by eating Keto ( thanks Tanya) . Curious if Chris has experienced any regain?
Hi Sarah yes please document you next journey from VSG to RNY. I live in Australia and have my VSG surgery next Wednesday. I have reflux but can control it with medication. I really don’t want to have RNY so your journey will be interesting to me 😀🤗
Hi....I had RNY 4 yrs ago. I also had reflux and wanted vsg, but my Dr advised that I do RNY so that way he could fix the reason that i was having the reflux which was a stomach hernia. He said if he did the vsg i would have to remain on meds for reflux for the rest of my life and he couldn't guarantee that after a while they would stop working. So the best way was to do RNY. He said he would not have been able to repair stomach with vsg. I have not had acid reflux SINCE. Hope this helps. I think RNY is the better way to go.
I got a pixie cut several months ago. A major factor in this decision was thinking how easy short hair would be.... Nope. All lies. When I had longer hair (not that long, I like to keep it at a Tanya VSG type bob lol), I could get away with washing it every other day. I'm lazy and I hate showers, so this is great. With a pixie cut... this is NOT possible. When I wake up in the morning, my hair is standing up in every direction and I do not have the skill or patience to figure out how to fix it. My long hair day 2 routine was so easy: brush, dry shampoo, fluff with fingers, brush, fluff some more... after months of regrowing... I'm almost there!
Yes, keep making videos. i've followed you for years, and find myself looking for VSG folks that have non-perfect journeys. share away with your hobbies!
I'd love to hear something from your choir. You are an alto, right? Is Chris involved too? What kind of music do you sing? Keep making videos. You know they help you process things as you progress. As you lose again you know you will need both the accountability and the therapy of the community (either on youtube, instagram, etc) It will stink if they make you do the full pre WLS bs, but it may hold a nugget of motivation or a reminder of the little things we let go after those first couple of years. Glad to see you around again. Coax Chris out of hiding from time to time too.
Hey Scott, I'm just trolling Sarah's comments. She's a Soprano actually. Nope I'm not involved at all, it's her thing. Getting me out of hiding.... well this is probably as close as you're gonna get. Miss you and B!!
I have always liked your videos! Please keep doing them!
