Glad to see you again. Happy three years! Totally agree with much of what you said. You can only focus on weight for so long before other things become more important. Life is so much more than a number on the scale or the size you wear. And I think most of us who haven't had plastics will never really love our bodies. We carry around the reminder to one degree or another of who we were and the years we spent big. You have a very positive attitude about the regain, it is what it is. You have the power to take it back off when you're ready to make it your life mission again (I say that knowing it takes most of my mental capital to make it happen). Say hi to Gooch for me and stay in touch.
I love you Sarah! Thank you for your words! Congratulations on all the things you have learned through your journey. You are such an inspiration to so many! I look forward to many more videos as you continue on your path.💖
Fantastic to see you back on here! Thanks for updating us, and I hope you keep on sharing all parts of this journey with us if you feel it is right for you. This process doesn't end after 18 months, and I learn so much from you - both struggles and triumphs, as well as things having nothing to do with the number on the scale. All my best to you, and thanks so much for everything you have given to this community.
Agree. I do believe that we can love our bodies for their imperfections though, not despite them. Thanks for the update, Sarah. We all have our own paths to break in this life. No need for finger pointing, just respect for the personal growth. Have a very happy holiday season.
And the best part about all of this for me has been learning that just because I feel one way today, doesn't mean I'm obligated to feel that way tomorrow. Love you and Chris very much! 😘
So happy to see your beautiful face! Happy surgiversary! your videos where one of the first I ever watched and you have helped me along this journey, so I thank you! Hugs
I was so happy to see an update. Your videos helped me with my decision to have WLS 2 weeks ago. I had my husband watch the videos regarding your relationship with your husband and your divorce because that was his biggest concern with my having surgery. I'm thrilled that you're so happy! You deserve it.
SO happy to see an update from you! You still look great! Regains are going to happen. You'll get back where you want to when you want to. I really hope you make more videos because you are so insightful and have been such an inspiration to me as a newbie. I hope you are happy! I look forward to more from you!
So great to see you. Your early videos were such a big part of my decision and prep for surgery. You look amazing. Congrats on all of your successes. Look forward to seeing you more often!
Oh ....I'm sooo happy to see you back doing videos Sarah. Wishing you continued happiness and PLEASE continue the videos. You are the one you tuber that has really impacted on me. I too had wls and struggle with regain...I'm 18 mts out and regained 100lbs. and I'm going back to basics to try to get to goal....which is 40 lbs again to lose. Please.....let's support each other and do this together....Don't give up. We got this.!!!!!
It is great to see an update from you. I think you've had such a terrific weight loss journey. You've done great! Weight gain has been an issue for me, too, for the last couple months. I've totally been on a free-eating-pass for since about the beginning of November. As a result, I've put on about 10 pounds. Regain seems to be a very common story for VSG people that are at least 2 years post-op. Restriction is so much less than the first year, for me. I'm encouraged by your great attitude of accepting yourself how you are, while doing the best with what you have to work with.
Being a newbie to RUclips, it is so great to see you posting an updated video to follow up all the others. It's great to see you doing so well and looking great even after 3 years. Good luck with the 40 lbs, but either way, you look great (and way too young for soon-to-be 38). Keep on keeping on!
Great to see that things are going well for you. I'd been thinking about you recently and then here's a video! Great self awareness as usual and interesting to hear your perspective three years out...
I have been going over a lot of videos with people going through this VSG surgery since my sister will be doing it in January. I just want to say that it is truly amazing to go through such transformations, but the fact that you not only did this but also have transitioned to being a woman is just so brave. Good for you for being your best version of yourself! You def are looking more and more girly - I think less makeup suits you best compared to your other videos - good luck in your life :).
Sarah, I just wanted to say how much I totally relate to this. I will be 3 years post-op in Feb, lost about 260 lbs and have had significant regain (probably 40-50 lbs). I'm also not happy about the regain but am not totally freaked out about it either. I don't like the way my body looks and expect that I never will but that said, I'm pretty comfortable in my skin these days. There is such a massive difference between being a bit over weight and being massively obese. I'm healthy, functional and way less obsessed about my weight that I have ever been and that feels good. It sounds to me like you are in a good place now and I honestly think that is the most important thing.
OMG It was so nice to see a video from you! Great perspective and I so look forward to watching more of your videos! more more more.. lol Glad you and Chris are so happy!
Glad to see your making videos again..... I am just starting my journey I have surgery on 4/5 in Tijuana. I too am a vaper and work in a vape shop, I think it's great you guys are making juice good luck hopefully can order it sometime.
It's encouraging to know that you did not reach goal until 18 months (I'm not moving so quickly.) I like how you put that WLS didn't change the struggle of losing weight but rather put you at a normal person trying to loose weight verses an obese person trying to do it.
Cannot tell you how happy it made me to see this video:) I think I knew that I was an emotional eater pre wls - however, it was a lot harder for me to see when i was constantly stuffing my face. Post was - emotional eating was very fucking apparent. Because I didn't eat like that normally. So happy to see your face!
Perhaps this is not the first time this has been said, but you could be a Molly Ringwald doppelganger. This whole time I was like "WHO DOES SHE REMIND ME OF??????? AAAAAAAGGGGG!!!!!!!!!"
I am 6 months post op and since the surgery I have lost a total of 78lbs. I may not be eating the best of taking my vitamins but besides that I have been doing good. I feel like I can eat more than I should be able to. Do you have any tips for me?
Oh wow, you're the same age as me! What day is your birthday? Mine is January 21. I'm pre VSG, trying to get approved through insurance. I just subscribed to you so I can watch your journey. Wishing you luck in the future. Thanks for sharing your perspective.
You need to go back and watch all of Sarah's journey from the beginning. It is interesting and worth it, Sarah is awesome. But to answer your question, she got divorced and is now in a new relationship.
Could it be you've always been an emotional eater and now you are more self aware after loosing so much weight? We didn't get to be morbidly obese if we weren't eating our feelings in some way or another.

love you too. thanks for the update.
Yay! Good to see you back! I'd be interested to see you videos about getting back on track and your views on how you feel 3 years out.
I love you Sarah! Thank you for your words! Congratulations on all the things you have learned through your journey. You are such an inspiration to so many! I look forward to many more videos as you continue on your path.💖

Not gonna lie you look wonderful, so much younger and happier, great to see someone a fair way down the road :)
It's encouraging to know that you did not reach goal until 18 months (I'm not moving so quickly.) I like how you put that WLS didn't change the struggle of losing weight but rather put you at a normal person trying to loose weight verses an obese person trying to do it.
18 months is really FAST considering how much she had to lose.
Great video! Missed ya
Hey it happens but you still look amazing!! And you have come so far from where you were
So great to see you. You are absolutely beautiful.
Glad to see you are doing well! i have been watching your videos for a while and was just wondering lately how you were doing!
Cannot tell you how happy it made me to see this video:) I think I knew that I was an emotional eater pre wls - however, it was a lot harder for me to see when i was constantly stuffing my face. Wow you are so beautiful. Your hair is beautiful

OMG......Typo error.......WTF. I regained 10 lbs. NOT.....100lbs.

how did your husband handle your weight loss
You need to go back and watch all of Sarah's journey from the beginning. It is interesting and worth it, Sarah is awesome. But to answer your question, she got divorced and is now in a new relationship.
Did you ever have plastic surgery
Would you say that your WLS was the cause of your marriage troubles? I'm concerned that will happen to me.
Could it be you've always been an emotional eater and now you are more self aware after loosing so much weight? We didn't get to be morbidly obese if we weren't eating our feelings in some way or another.
