"Bad cars that people keep buying" SUVs... Those SUVs..
Oh why? Lol
@@rogelkoaegunsk1421 because they are way too big, consume too much fuel and kill more pedestrians yearly. If you do not believe me, then you can look at videos and articles that go into deep details about SUV's and their problems.
I mean if it’s for a good purpose (like hauling, family, off-road, work, etc) then it’s good. But if it’s for nothing then it doesn’t make sense
The reason why people still chose to buy these cars because parts are always available and can be easily maintained. There are no perfect cars which doesn't break down, there will always be trials and errors. Its up to the owners on how they take care of it in daily usage.
Honda, Toyota?
There're many cars which don't break down often, it depends on quality from brand being a factor but mostly on the owner's care. That's why u can't even a trust a Toyota(not some like Hilux, those're beast) when u can't maintain it well.
@@johndavidson3424 its not just quality itself, and I'm not mentioning a specific brand to avoid being bias. Just as you said, cars last longer if properly maintaned by ther owners. Like I said before, there will always be trials and errors.
Mirage 8yrs, no problem, daily use.. what is this guy talking about?
That's true but only reliable cars like Honda, Mazda, Toyota, Buick and more...
It depends on reliability and quality It doesn't depend on the year it's made
I have a 6 year old Hyundai accent its excellent no issue, highly performing
Hyundai accent is also performing well here in the Philippines. 10 years and still performing and cheaper cost for maintenance. It is just the same with Toyota sedan.
@@aldwinjosephempaces57 sure hyuandai is more hp than corolla also
I drive a Hyundai Accent auto. Had it for 5 years and all I've spent on it was replacing tyres. Not one iota of problems. I have a full maintenance plan,so servicing costs me nothing. A beautiful car.
Any ANY video that says a Ford is better, is a dud!! This was a waste of time! A Ford Focus. HA!
11:33 Almost each & every word from here is straight up lies, I heard it all including the conclusion in the end. Ik cause Accents are common, & sold in my country since the very beginning, idk abt. other cars though. Btw, Accent always has been best in segment(Vento/Aveo) especially in features, comfort & performance(speed not diesel torque), reliability is great, quality is good but not up to (old) VW standards.
I have mistsubishi mirage g4 9 years old now..no esues still running wothout problem..it depends to owner how to care the car..
True. So no gasket issues?
I have one 2014 mirage for 8 years Only Overheated for the first time The Radiator Fan motor failed After 8 years but Since it overheated it was low on Oil and Still ran and when car was overheating IT was STILL RUNNING
@@DavidandClara No Gasket Issues For mine
Ford focus reliable??? Haha your joking 😂😂
With a stick which most other countries still use it is pretty good
USA need more lessons
I have a mirage g4 it's very reliable i'm using it for 5 years with no issue.
Nope
You have one? @@neilasd3043
Sweet i Use my toyota camry 1998 ten yerars now 😂😂
The hyundai accent also known as verna here in india is great car. I owned this car for more than ten year and the car always gave me the best comfort, milage and performance. It came with a 126 hp. CRDI engine ten years ago and now it comes with a 160 hp engline that can reach upto 219km/h. Hence i dont agree with the facts about the starting problems and poor air conditioning. Its considered one of the best sedans in india. Please dont criticise this legendary car.
Its a fun car for a car enthusiast.
hyundai accent number 1 👍👍👍
Hyundai and Nissan are excellent brands, they are reliable, I drove the nissan for over 10 years. just minor problems, Most american cars. chevy ford, dodge jeep etc, are unreliable
Not true my dad has 15 year old chevrolet trailblazer and only had minor issues that was fixed
Nissan is owned by Renault now, their CVT transmissions are the most unreliable transmission ever, ask any mechanic ever
Nissan owns themselves now. They are back on their feet
Hyundias are not on average good vehicle's, i worked at a dealership for them and it was awful, 43 blown engins , new cars burning oil ,maybe older hyundais are better but anything 2014 and newer is a no go for me
I find it strange that these issues are not appearing in Japanese models of the US cars like Accent and Nissan Sunny aka b13
Mirage may be a bad car in terms of technology and beauty but its very reliable and last long. I have a 6 yr old mirage and have no problems with it unlike my Ford Territory which I own less than a year and twice back with the dealer due to electronic problems.
Pretty pointless video. Basically all the cars you listed are all budget cars, which are purposely priced low and less equipped for owners who just want a simple car for transportation.
Yes they may not be very lasting, nor come with plenty of feature, but the parts and maintenance cost might be cheap for these models in their country that makes them a good car to own and operate.
Even for high end cars from premium makers e.g. Land Rover, BMW, Mini… they are also famous for bad reliability, but people are also buying them.
I think you just need to understand the reason why people pick the cars for...
Someones trying to compensate for owning one of these lemons XD
What you said is completely true which is why my parents wouldn’t let me buy a bmw 3 series and a 5 series even though I told them the bmw 3 series and bmw 5 series are diesel and manual not gasoline and automatic or even a two Range Rovers because how unreliable Range Rovers are and they rather I get eight diesel manual Mercedes Benzs
I have a Hyundai Accent Diesel is Completely Reliable more than the Diesel Ford Focus and the Gasoline Ford Focus has problems with the Automatic Transmission Electronics and engine I know that because the Ford Focus was the car My Parents Originally Going to Buy brand new but changed their mind after hearing about the constant problems that the ford focus has compared to any Hyundai Accent 7 Speed Dual Clutch Automatic or 6 Speed Manual Turbo Diesel or Turbo Gasoline my Parents Have bought one in White Diesel With A 7Speed Dual Clutch Automatic Transmission That is extremely Reliable and is still with my family 8 soon 9 years later and the car is soon turning 9 years old this July and never has given my parents any serious problems unlike the Ford Escape My parents Had previously it was Reliable but the car had Serious problems compared to my 8 years old soon 9 years old on July almost problem free Brand new looking Hyundai Accent Turbo Diesel that was recently given to me by my father and mother on my birthday last three months ago it is June now and I will keep the car as long as I could that is how reliable my car is
BMWs, Mercs, Land Rovers and Minis are a fortune to have and maintain...Parts are ridiculously expensive😢😢😢😂😂
Nice video, although it'd be better if you gave us the exact year ranges/generations of the cars you're talking about different cars in the videos ;)
all the maintenance related issues you explained are also being experienced by almost all brands in their category. No cars are exempt of these issues, as no cars are forever free from them. I smelled bias wittingly or unwuttingly.
The Chevrolet Aveo is nothing more than a rebadged Daewoo. Even the now defunct Pontiac had a rebadged variant of the Aveo called the G3. The Suzuki Swift isn't a viable option for US buyers. Suzuki no longer sells cars in the US. The company made the announcement back in November 2012. they would stop selling cars in the US.
The Chevrolet Spark is another rebadged Daewoo or Korean car sold by GM.
Hyundai accent is an excellent car as experienced. Please review your information once again.
How about volkswagen 2012 using dry auto gear box...any trouble.
Eventhough the Nissan Tsuru is not safe, it is extremely reliable.
Yes, there is a Hyundai Accent in the garage, and I find the aircon to be a problem. Outside of the car in our garage, other problems I've encountered includes ignition problems. They're easy to fix.
So if the Accent and the Mitsubishi Mirage G4 are bad cars, better avoid the Dodge Attitude, too, because it is a straight-up rebadge of both the Accent and the Mirage G4 (aka the Attrage).
can you review and rate suzuki ertiga models especially those that are shipped in asia like the philippines.. i do have 2020 glx model.. thanks and more power :)
These cars are sold in Mexico. Some models are not even sold in the United States.
Lol, I've owned a Mirage g4 for 9 years driving it on one of the world's worst road conditions: the Philippines, I've never had issues with it. As long as you do your maintenance service properly, it's a great fuel effecient car.
What market are all these cars sold? They're not sold here in North America.
Asian/African markets
Had my Mirage for 6 years...and have not spent on anything more than maintenance.
Ok…. I never even heard of some of these vehicles 😂😂
Bcuz ur not a car person
if you're in USA not surprising ... most of these models not sold there
Glad you showed Nissan Versa well-deserved love; however, the 1.6 four cylinder engine makes 122 horsepower. As of 2020 it went from 109 to 122 mm
I sat in a Chevy Aveo once. It felt like I was sitting on a rock
Awesome video. Thanks for sharing ❤😊👍❤️
The Mitsubishi attrange is ok?
Hyundai Accent an excellent vehicle. Very reliable so far. Have one from brand new. No problems. How much is Ford paying you?
Funny the Spark appears on this list even the dealerships I went to to look at the car were constantly dogging it and steering me to the Chevy Cruize I’m like why offer the Spark if your going to tag on it. It’s called commission sales baby.
The worst car that i owned is the ford fiesta. Gear shifting is not smooth, weak front shock absorber and faulty ABS, traction control, etc..😢
Mostly euro cars. Not applicable to US market.
The reason these cars are popular even with bad ratings is because they are cheap. If someone is on a budget and needs a vehicle, they’re not looking for something that’s the best of the best, they’re looking for something that will get them from A to B and if something goes wrong it either is still under warranty or will be cheap to repair.
I had a 2004 Dodge SX2.0 (Neon) because it was small, good on gas, got me to and from work and around town without any issues. I never had a problem with it. Only reason I got rid of it was because I was in a position I could afford something newer that I actually liked.
Tsuru? Isnt that a really realy old nissan sentra?
Ya it's a Sentra form the 90's with new. You would have thought they would have improved it. Especially since there's no R&D.
Shame on Nissan for that. Cash grab car, praying on people that maynot be able to spend more money.
mirrage deserves a fair rating. its pretty reliable for its price, these kind of reviews sucks, they forgot that mirrage is a budget car
I am agree small cars never buy.
The Chevy Aveo hasn't been sold in north america for quite a few years. Interesting that it's still sold in Latin America.
Do not buy a car that is on it’s 4th-5th year in the market. Buy only from 1st -3rd yr because car dealers release the new model at it’s 5th yr usually.
Focus and grind
As an owner of an accent from ehen huyndai wasn't cool yet. I can comfortably say the car is perfect for what it is. I put 130 thousand miles on it in 12 of owning it. Has never had a problem. Im on to better cars but i keep it just in case something breaks on my other cars and i dont wanna drive an old supercar. But its been perfect. No engine problems, no drive train problems. Good enough on gas. Composed at high speeds. Its fine. If you go into it expecting a type r youll obviously be disappointed but if a fun, light, throw aroundable car that is really cheap even if something breaks. I had to replace an ac comoressor which was a few hundred with labor
My Mirage G4 is 8 years old now. Never experienced the issues enumerated in this video. They’re just all made up. Fyi the Mirage does not have an EGR. The ignition system in this car is very basic and has not caused me any problem. Spark plugs are iridium and the dealer service replaced them at 60,000 miles as part of preventive maintenance. Mine’s got ABS with EBD. Never leaked oil or burned oil like our 2016 Corolla Altis. The only complains I have with the Mirage are the noisy brakes and soft rear springs.
The Mirage is more reliable than a Ford Ecosport, that’s for sure.
Exactly I have a 2014 Mirage And No Problem Only Overheated for the first time Recently like a month Ago And It Still Ran! But I got mine Imported from Japan so IT has better build Quality and Yes Mine also has ABS and Definently Ford Ecoboost Engines Fail so much
The tsuru ended production in 2017
It's a Sentra from the early 90's
The real worst car's that peapol keep buying is the SUV's
I might have to disagree with the accent. I used one that is more than half million kilometers on the clock because it is used as a taxi, also it is a diesel variant and it still drove perfectly fine. The engine runs smooth, shifts fine, and the ac is still good. Maybe in the other country it is somewhat unreliable or idk but the accent here in Philippines? I'd still pick it over a toyota vios. More biased opinion but sorry vios lovers its my pick. ;)
Don't look for quality in popular cars, it's the same thing as looking for eggshells
This was a dumb list. Suggesting a fiat in lieu of a Suzuki is wild. I drive a Versa standard, very reliable car.
Propaganda 😊
I would take my chances and buy any of those bad Asian cars over any Fiat, Audi, VW, Renault cars, I know that there is a chance of getting a lemon with the Asian cars, but know for certain I would get burned on the European ones .
he's using dollars but these car don't look American or sold in the USA
The only car in this list currently sold in the USA brand new is the Mirage the rest are not solely because the American automakers seem to think that the majority of Americans want SUV’s and choose to focus on that type of vehicle abandoning even the basic sedan which I think is a huge mistake which will someday bite them in the rear. Not everyone wants an SUV or crossover and the majority of those vehicles don’t impress me at all especially since the bulk of owners who have them are the most aggressive drivers around with a delusion that they own deed to the road.
You clearly don’t know anything about Suzuki Alto. It’s the best low budget car in India is the most reliable and high mileage car one can get. With well maintenance it’s a lifetime warranty car.
Nah The Mirage is Better Atleast its not a build Quality Like your's
The first car back lifht looks similar with audi rs6
Dodge dart should be on list
Fr like why the Mirage is here? and he is lying
mirage means fata morgana. VW is extreme generous to the americans. A jetta all option only costs 21000 USD. For that price I won't have a polo in Belgfium and I am sitting right with my nose on their EU hub. THAT IS THE REASON WHY I WILL NEVER BUY A VW. OFF MY YARD !
I will disagree about the mirage, i have one bought used until now it doesnt give me any issue, its the most reliable car in the philippines second to toyota vios or maybe better
Yeah Me too but i am Wondering About the Ignition Problem but It's a rare problem I think
@@EqyanSaeed701 its a rare issue never have any issue
@@KM-kl2wu Same Only had overheating Issue for the first 8 years
😢An interesting video and the Hyundai you featured and a better alternative the Ford Focus now bad is the Hyundai which l know are really awful cars but the Ford Focus is not as awful than the Hyundai as for the Chevy cars they were made in South Korea by Daewoo which fortunately don't make cars any more as for that Renault Sondero and a different looking car the Dacia Sondero are they just a Renault Sondero in a better suit well any European is crap and it was good to see the Suzuki Swift is a good car and also the Mazda3 another very good car and the Swift and Mazda3 are popular in Australia
Never ever buy a ford escape
2016 VELOSTER TURBO, NO PROBLEM !
JUST REPLACE TIRES !
HINT: “Hyundai” rhymes with “Sunday”
How is this a hint?
The Chevy Aveo is a Dihitsu
The Nissan Tsuru is a poorly vailed '90's Nissan Sentra!🥺😫😵🤐
Why is a driver wearing driving gloves while driving a Chevy Aveo ? I mean it's not a sports car 😂😂
you can tell its a content farm by the cars they put,
the alto, aveo, sandero, they are only in the mexican market
So happy that bmw is not here or seat or audi 😅
I don't own a mirage I own a Honda civic 2020 model and a Toyota vios 2022 but mirage G4? nahh I think it's better than Hyundai and Geely combined I have friends who own a mirage G4 and I drove one from Makati to Baguio it's great and fun and surely reliable also cheap to maintain like the Vios maybe the fault is on the owner neglecting maintenance and oil change
Yeah
lol. Suggesting a A ford FOCUS? No. What is wrong with you?
If you evaluate according to your words, this means that luxury German cars are among the worst cars, and many other cars have become the worst, according to your words.
Honda is one of the best , proven already
Mirage hatch 🎉
The Mitsubishi Mirage/Space Star is my favourite car from Mitsubishi -_-
3:52 thats the Mitsubishi Attrage 😐
I basically disagree with the whole video
Same Me too But The Attrage is Branded in Dubai or smth
Don’t ever buy a ford focus
1. MOST BUYERS ARE TOO LAZY TO DO ANY REAL RESEARCH INTO THESE THINGS- It's NOT just CARS, it's that way with EVERYTHING
2. IGNORANCE- (see above) Which translates into "CAVEAT EMPTOR", i.e, "LET THE BUYER BEWARE"
3. BUDGET- Many Buyers just CAN'T AFFORD anything better
4. The NEW CAR AUTO MANUFACTURERS, and consequently, the USED CAR MARKET, which bases it's PRICES on what NEW CARS COST, HAVE PRICED THEMSELVES INTO THE REALM OF THE IMPOSSIBLE for the "AVERAGE BUYER"
5. INDIFFRENT QUALITY on the PART OF THE MANUFACTURERS, i.e, SHODDY WORKMANSHIP, INFERIOR MATERIALS, AND, THE MANUFACTURERS' (and DEALERS') RAPACIOUS & UNSCRUPULOUS ATTITUDES TOWARDS THE CONSUMER
6. A GENERAL DOWNSLIDE IN THE ENTIRE AUTOMOBILE INDUSTRY, i.e, what USED TO BE "GOOD" Cars, have NOW BECOME EXPENSIVE, OVERLY-COMPLICATED ELECTRO-MECHANICAL BLUNDERBUSSESS...
My ADVICE: DO NOT BUY AN ALL-ELECTRIC CAR, SUV or TRUCK. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING NEWER THAN a 2015 Model. Anything newer is JUST A JUNKY COMPUTER ON WHEELS. STICK with a HONDA, or a TOYOTA. DO NOT buy ANYTHING MADE IN EUROPE and/or the UK. DO NOT buy anything made in SOUTH KOREA- THESE CARS ARE "MONEY PITS". Having worked in the Automobile Repair, Parts and Sales Industry for over THIRTY-ONE YEARS, I think I'm qualified to have posted these opinions of mine. THANK YOU FOR TAKING THE TIME TO READ MY COMMENTS...🙂
____s
Bro remove mirage from ur list
On the video it is said that “Mexico is paved like the moon”… this comment just feeds an already old stereotype… I asked myself why our cities are getting filled of Americans getting out of the US.
Bro mitsubishi mirage g4,hyundai accent and nissan are very good why yall mad
Fr This guy is such a Liar and Never Had Fuel Pump Problems
If mirage is not good, why it still hot to buyers, the important is easy the parts in auto supply, your mouth is not reliable.
Avoid any Automatic transmission number 1!!!
1993 tsuru~ Mazda 2013😂
Yea and Hyundai rust like fk, have had one for 2y and it had significant rust problems.🙂↕️
STOP BUYING ANY LUXURY CAR 😂😂😂😂 !
No wonder why Toyota is still people's no 1 choice
Not worth watching if the reviewer thinks mirage is a bad car.
Yeah
Hyundai/KIa are Korean car companies and they don't build their engines as well as the Japanese (Toyota & Honda), so they don't last as long and are less reliable
How do you know I know the fact that is not true Honda’s have issues with the wiring and the transmission as for Toyota their cars have ac issues, automatic transmission and the turbo of the turbo charged models brake more than the turbo charged models of Hyundai I know that because I had my Hyundai accent turbo diesel paired to a durable 7 speed automatic transmission and has only broken down due to transmission issues three times compared to a Toyota Yaris sedan which I’m my country the Philippines brakes more often than any Hyundai accent diesel or gasoline 7speed dct or 6 speed manual the only problems I had with my Hyundai accent is wiring due to cheap white t10 led bulbs that I will get fixed soon including the broken keys but the only serious problems were the battery which I had replaced for a brand new battery from the same company but more higher models and until now despite the wiring issue the car still runs like new and still looks new for a car bought brand new 8 soon 9 years ago back in 2016 because my car is turning 9years old soon and still runs like brand new 8 soon 9 years later and haven’t owned a Toyota ever since I will get some Nissans, Hondas and Hyundai cars very soon
I agree with you. The traditional design of the engines by Toyota/Honda is what makes the cars long lasting and good performance. Hyundai adopted a modern engine design that uses both electrical components and manual parts which sometimes causes issues. Good thing about these cars is that parts are always available if properly maintaned.
From 2014 tehta ll engine jointventure with hundai, kia and BMW...not for performance engine..
In our region, over 7 years above, mostly Korean made/built lose their resale values faster than Japanese made ones and parts are hard to acquire and expensive especially those electronic versions😢😮😢😢😢😢😮😮😮
@@Topgunners_55 Also Hyundai/Kias are easy to steal since they don't have an engine immobilzer
Another bad car that people keep buying are Teslas
It's obvious this narrator knows nothing about cars.
Terrible AI voices! The people that made this video should be ashamed.
I find this "infos" unreliable.. dislike
Mitsubishi Mirage is worst here by far. Sure, it’s decently screwed together, has bulletproof reliability, outstanding fuel efficiency and a cheap parts supply, and will probably last for years with minimal maintenance, but it loudly announces that you’re either cheap or care about saving money. And its hideous to look at.
Whata wrong with being cheap? Huh richkid😂
That... that really makes it a bad car?
What the fuck you mean? The Ford Focus is the worst here such a trash car you Rich Kid go buy a Audi R8 if ur rich
You liar
The Mitsubishi Mirage is the worst cheap car you can buy
I beg to disagree. Here in our country, Mirage is one of the most sought-after budget car because of its reliability, ample features relative to its price, fuel economy and most importantly, readily available inexpensive parts. I own one that is more than 7 years now with 170k+ kms mileage and still rides like new and haven't hurt my pocket since I bought it.
Mirage is budget friendly car, reliable and low maintenance.
I believe that, automatic and manual have differences about reliability and consistency.
I believe that, automatic and manual have differences about reliability and consistency.
It's true, just watched a video of " 7 bad cars that people keep buying" funny enough mirage g4 is one of them. Mirage Owners are naive and inexperienced with cars and are clearly just in denial that g4 is a bad car and there is a better alternative. It's not just about fuel efficiency coz there are more efficient cars than a G4
The REAL Worst Cars That People Keep Keeping Buying: All Chryslers/All Jeeps/All Dodges/All Rams/All Plymouths/All DeSotos 1941-present! They Make All These Featured Cars Seem Good!
Definitely had 2 grand cherokees and both did 300k
Asian mirage....most ugly econo car with vvvvvvveeeeery slow acceleration and gear shifting. Mitsubishi sucks. Its only alive in because of the Expander (which is also the body of the Nissan Livinia...talk about dumb parttnerships/mergers).
Notice that the bad cars are of mitsu, nissan, and renault. Mergeed stupidity.
What do you mean? Mirage is such a Nice Looking Car AND ITS A CVT ITS OBVIOUSLY SLOW AND HAS 3 CYLINDER OBVIOUSLY IT HAS TO BE Slow
Totally disagree with the mirage.😡😤😤🤦♂️🤷♂️
Yeah Im so Mad
