Great video. Thank you. My 2010 Armada 2WD was super easy to replace. Removed the front passenger wheel. Removed the alternator connectors. Removed the serpentine belt. Removed the mounting bracket and the long bolt and the alternator slid right out the back of the suspension underneath the car in 5 seconds. I did not have to move any wiring or hoses. Put the new alt and everything back in and bolted back up in reverse order. It took me wayyyyyyy longer to get the serpentine belt back on, than it did to do the rest of the entire job. I finally had to employ my 9 year old to put the belt back on while I held the tensioner pulley down. But your video was the basis for what I did. I'm thinking a 4WD Titan or Armada might not be able to pull the alternator back out through the suspension as easily as a 2WD.
I would have cleaned the cables and the plug and used a bit of dielectric grease. Also, I would have put some on the long bolt to make it easier for the next time. Otherwise a good video and it helped me. Thanks
The skid pan in the front actually has four 10mm bolts. Apparently you either already removed the two front ones or someone took the pan down and never replace the bolts at the front of the pan. They're kind of a bear to install so maybe they just said screw it and didn't put them in; but that makes for a hellacious rattle. Also you ALWAYS remove the NEGATIVE terminal from the battery first never the positive. This is because if you bump the wrench on ground while you're removing the terminal you won't create an arc.
Just a tip. On my 2004 the alternater can be removed going to the back side. You have to loosen a line from the rack to get it out of the way. A lot quicker.
They had to start productionin 03 so they can have their first release in 04. 04 was their 1st year. I know because I have an 04. Original owner. However, it is a good video except for the gum chewing.
Thanks for chewing gum the entire time. Really helped!

I recently did an alt replacement. yet it still doesn't charge. I installed new ipdm, terminals, relays, battery. now when in drive my ride stalls.
Nl.😮
No such thing of a 03 Titan
Production on the Titan started in September of 2003.
