[A] On 27 October 2023 he filed a complaint alleging violation of civil rights in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan (2:23-cv-12741).

McDuffie stated she is NOT dropping the charges on this one (the sovcit trifecta: operating without a license (failure to display license, operating after suspension), registration or insurance, back on July 11, 2023). Warrant issued March 14 for FTA, bond set at $10,000. Possible sentence of up to 18 months and $1,100 in fines, if my math is correct.

Exactly, ZOOM court appearances are a luxury or privilege, one that should be revoked if someone can't even bother to log in for one. Someone needs to follow up on that bench warrant, make sure he can't miss the next one.

No contest means the defendant concedes that the prosecutor has enough evidence to win a conviction but defendant does not wish to admit his culpability in the alleged case, the plea is often chosen because in any civil case related to the criminal act the defendant still has deniabillity ,where as if the defendant pleaded guilty then a large portion of the burden of proof regarding a civil case has already been established 😢
9/10 of The Sovereign citizen videos that I've seen, the reason they don't ID when cops pull over is because they know they have a warrant out on them for some reason or other LOL
The most common reason I've seen is because their license was revoked and that's what caused them to find out about the sovereign citizen movement. The rest is just them wanting to believe it to be true because they think it would solve all the problems they have in their life. Sadly it just makes them worse and they lack the ability to understand why it's all BS.

My county doesn’t let people appear by zoom if they have a warrant, and it will say so in the docket entry (e.g. Petitioner attempts to appear virtually, access to waiting room denied as court takes notice of outstanding warrant). It’s hilarious 🤣
One of my favorite judge moments was when she kept the zoom call going until the deputies showed up to arrest the defendant on a warrant.
