There is a border zone on the Finnish side of the border you are not allowed to enter, which is between a couple hundred meters to a couple kilometers wide . So those signs denote the start of the border zone, not the actual border. Its not russia right there behind that gate.
I've just rang the wife half way through the vid and sent her the link for your route. Next year we want to buy and build out an old Army DAF as a camper. Then once it's done, I think, we are going to do this route in it. Loving your videos so much guys. 🎉
good night martha and mitch i love watching your videos on your you tube channel l hope that you are well and enjoying your motor bile adventures and camping please keep up your good work on your videos on your you tube channel please keep safe and warm
A little tip with your flint and steel. if you keep the steel striker still and just pull back the flint it stops you hitting your tinder or whatever your aiming to light i find it also gives me more control over where the sparks going!
Martha, you must have the tip of the flint (left hand) touching the stove. Then, you bring the steel (right hand) to the top of the flint. Press hard. DO NOT move the right hand, instead, grate the flint on the steel > this will create more sparks + the sparks will be at the right distance to ignite your fuel. We'll have you surviving the wilderness in no time ;-)
Enjoying your series, we are new motorcycle riders too! We’ve watched a lot of your older van content too and have always wondered, what does jammy gits mean?
Hahaha the Shrek toilet 😂 I’m living in a caravan at the moment and will never take a plumbed toilet for granted again 😂 So cool that Mitch’s left arm has been to Russia lol. Loving this series. Bring on the next episode.
Probs said this quite a few times since you started this series but proper loving these videos! Just the right amount of real life and good editing! Keep it up guys! Enjoy every moment!!!!
Thanks for bringing us along on the adventure. I've been waiting for mitch to catch a fish. Great editing. Inspired me to keep working on my channel. Thanks again. Subscribing now.
More towards the barren north... What i'm thinking after watching all these finland travel videos is that it feels like there's little too much just riding, camping and then riding again. That itself gets monotone i'd imagine. I'd think that even one day off not riding, maybe spending the day in some spa, eating well, doing something else would give a huge boost to the trip. But to each their own. Thanks for sharing again! Can't wait for the next video, as per usual.
Hi there! Any reason why you don't use some of these products? Works for me every time coz mosquitos really hate this brand of repellent. OFF Teho or maybe OFF Family Care.
get out of my swamp, great line, and to see you guys are still having so much fun, even on the so called boring runs
Top tip, keep the striker still and pull the ferrous rod back towards you. You'll find the sparks are more direct 👍 another entertaining vid 👍
