These lyrics are pure genius to me. A favourite song from the new album.
This song achieves heavyosity.
This song is incredible morrisey at his finest
Bold. Innovative. Ingenious. Morrissey! Thank you...you are making my life (and probably millions more) richer...
Morrissey is like a fine vine , gets better with time , adaptable, not many can claim the same
Daring and provocative. One can make art first or make commerce. Commerce can come from art, but rarely the other way around. When the art wins you can feel it ringing true, as here. Respect.
The man just shreds it.
Stoney vibes and brilliant words. Great as usual
Moz ate an edible lol
This man always brings something NEW to the world of music.
This song is just fine with me Morrissey I can listen to it over and over 😄
Woke up to this at 2:00 am. What a trip.
a totally unique listen
Ethereal! Took me 5 minutes in to figure out the adjective describing his voice in this song 😆 meanwhile the instrumental is haunting. Love it
how do you know? did he tell you personally?
This is deeper than a song and more mysterious than music. Thank you Master Moz
wow! really pleasantly surprised at how GREAT this album is! This song, Darling, I hug a pillow; Jim Jim Falls, Once I saw a river clean, my hurling days are over, ... plus the previously released singles are classic Morrissey; classic in that they instantly join the dozens of others songs from his past catalogues that can be listened to and enjoyed anytime, anywhere, Thank you Morrissey! Clearly for me, the best Morrissey album from start to finish since Vauxhall and I ... LOVE IT!!!!
I like the dramatic style of the melody
Yes the vocal is drawn out and slinky, stretching time.
I think it's one of his most outstanding records on first listen. It's going down well with some edibles and a cool beer.
honestly tho
am out of tune
Violin, the state I'm in
I've lived through many Junes
I am out of tune
The centre hole is overgrown
I'm listening face down
Birds sound around
Like a sudden spell or bell
Or orchestrated swells
I am out of tune
Play the flute
For love or loot
That's really up to you
How it clings
Like pinging strings of mandolins
That pluck to your good luck
No trombone
Or glockenspiel could ever feel
The way I feel tonight
Bum, bum, bum, the drum
Cymbals symbolize your mind
I think that you should try
Classical guitar
Love anew, oh yes, you are
Pan pipes save a life
No angelic flute
Can F hold
A harping soul?
Each song ends with a gong
Fat bassoon
Clear as the moon
But nothing now can take away my gloom
Triangle
Fiddle Stradivarius
I'd like to cause a fuss
Boo, boo
Thanks for that, Færy Princess.
You get, "I've lived through many Junes", do you?...
...oh yes, you're right.
My brain lazily registered "tunes". Silly of me. Yes, interesting, better, and better than "moons".
VERY impressive - I love this!
After having my A Levels cancelled, having this album is the best thing possible. my favourite album of his so far not a single skip-able song
completely agree with you, excellent album, best in years!
Funny to make this comment on what is certainly the song that is most necessary to skip in his entire catalogue. A painful 8 minutes this.
chris clark in your opinion
I wish our music stores were open so I could get this
The secret of music Is the best album I've ever heard from Morrissey (some may say sacrilegious comment) but the way hes grasped the change of the scene is superb. As good and probably better than anything hes ever produced
i not tried his solo cuz i dont know where to start ,,,which albums are good to start on plz
@@anglogang1939 that's a really difficult question EN some would say the Smith's days and I couldn't argue with that others would say his earlier Morrissey days again hard to argue with that all I could say is try the 'best of ' each take your own path ✌
@@joeydutch7178 yeah my bad 👍
Reminds me much of "Southpaw Grammar", I think this song would perfectly fit in that album.
En Monterrey, México te amamos Morrisey ❤️🌹🌻🌷🌺😌🙏😘🤩🦄💐🌼☺️😍💋🌸🏵️
LOVE IT, MEXICO LOVES MOZ
@james Nas well, is your opinion.
Magnificent ❤❤❤❤
On point vocals on this track💯
His voice is holding up very well despite the relentless march of time. Many singers younger than Moz can't get a tune out these days.
@@Dive-the-world Yes very true, it hasn't changed since 'Viva Hate'
@@Dive-the-world Very true! I would even say the older her gets the better his voice is!!! Great track!
You can really tell Moz has let loose on this album. Truly open to new sounds and experiment. Never thought I would hear some much electronic sounds on one of his albums. Rich production. A lot of instruments and still it doesn't sound overproduced!
The ongoing evolution of his music is just a joy to hear superb
I love you moz
Brilliant!
It's different but it's so good! 😘💋 From Brazil!

RIP Olivia Newton John 🖤🫂
Durisimo .
2:50 it's in French but barely understandable
Thys songe tis yummie!
I get a vibe from this record he's tapped back into his younger self a little. Sort of finds his groove well on these songs.
RIP Olivia Newton John
I still miss that "Rock" style!
Couldn't agree more. Doesn't compare to 'the queen is dead'.
@@andrewwestcott3095 The Queen Is Dead? Come on, the classics are the classics, this is NOW.
🙏
"So I was walking through Rome. With the Pope on the phone. He said "Morrissey, please help me". I said "NO!" and I hung up the phone.
Remembering Matt Johnson of The-The heavy atmospheres
"And all I see is little dots. Some are smeared and some are spots. Feels like murder but that's alright."
4:16 Julian Cope?
Oh while your in prison can you ask for my potato peeler back. Please.
Didn't end with a gong though
Morrissey you gave me $5 & said never stop singing NEVER STOP SINGING IS THAT IT? FIVE FING DOLLARS?

I also don't like people eve's droping on my chosen Lambs. You are so cruel to them it turns me against you all in the end. I find us funny but you will never get it. The smiths gave This good man a platform. But your wanting more is a torture you'll never know and don't deserve to know. Your not geting that truth from me so leave me to tend my ministry to them. They deserve the truth becaush they can handle it. They are my burden to bear. 💛.
why is no one talking about how he sounds like a woman
Different, but bad
I kind of wondered if this was influenced by friendship with Nancy Sinatra. Don't know why get a vibe of that 60's cinema sound like hers kind of was with this one. It's all hollywood man.
Till now I think this is the best Album of 2020 ;)
This is MORRISSEY...every album that comes from Him is the best ('til ever...)!!!
Already 2021 and I can certify your statement mate
@@darlinjacq1552 LoL
"Morrissey gets proggy and spacey with the almost-8 minute "The Secret of Music," which is a tour of instruments, from "fat bassoon" to "angelic flute." It's terrific, hypnotically weird"
Nice!
Totally , I am out of tune- violin. Outstanding lyrics from the master
This one of my all times Morrissey favorite songs.
HSIN = technically not a Morrissey song. 😀
Best song of the album! In my humble opinion....Reminds me a bit of David Sylvian.
Geeez... God. Love. You.
Been listening to the album since midnight & this & Knockabout world are my two favourite's.Great show Saturday by the way ❤
I agree, have been doing the same, ... I'll add Darling, I hug a pillow as another one of my favorites. Excellent album.
Come to Brazil and show us the secret of music!
🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
“Being fucking gorgeous.”
I just heard this song as a backing track to a UFO/cryptid video on Rumble and had to "Beatfind" it. Awesome
Awesome I really like it!
Great man!! Love the new record!!
I love this.
Love it Love Morrissey ♥
Among the last of the greats. They don't make musicians/lyricists/writers like him anymore.
Obrigado Morrissey!
......The One And The Only....... Love Forever
¡GENIO!
Excellente musique, excellentes paroles. Pas d'illusion sur notre époque. Dernières mélodies avant la troisième guerre mondiale ?
Sempre uma obra prima !
Com certeza!!!
🙏
Sensacional
Brilliant.
Love this!
Me recuerda al "the twist" de klaus nomi

Grazie Moz
Viva Hate grazie a te.
friday night 1969
A TV, you murdered every line.
cymbals symbolize your mind, i think that you should cry
This is music it's so creative and critical of itself .Music is not music no more it's plastic pop garbage. Real artists want to be ahead of the times not with them. Art isn't supposed make us feel safe it's supposed to make us scared. Truly this album is scary and eye opening.
Italy love Morrissey
Marco D. Grazie. Questa l’ho scritta io (un Italiano che vive a LA) e Mando 😃
