Why do some people feel the need to force their opinions on others and not accept that music a subjective thing? If you prefer (or only like) Morrissey's earlier albums that's absolutely fine but everyone relates to music differently. I have listened to all of Morrissey's albums many, many times and personally, I love how Morrissey's music has grown and matured over the years and in my opinion this is musically one of Morrissey's best solo albums. His voice has never sounded better and so many of the lyrics are so culturally and politically relevant right now, as well as there being lyrics that apply to me personally. This is, In my opinion, an incredibly strong piece of work that gets better and better every time I listen to it. I would advise anyone who doesn't like it because it doesn't sound like his early work to keep listening and maybe they will hear the beauty in it as I have. It isn't supposed to sound like his early albums or any of his other albums, Morrissey is an artist, his music is supposed to mature, grow and change as he does. Oh long rant. sorry.
World Peace Is None of Your Business is a great album!! It didn't get the marketing it should have, but it doesn't take away from its powerful message.
Never a truer word spoken. For someone whom I assume has never even entertained the absurd idea of marriage, he has, as usual, nailed it on the brideshead.
The best and most mature comment I have ever heard!! I absolutely hate when someone responds with just a quote from a song or with a dreadful comment comparing the Smiths to Morrissey, especially when it comes to the guitar music. Stop whining about the Smiths, guitarists and comparing the old music to Morrissey's newer music. I love it all and we should be happy and grateful he is still making music for us almost 40 years later. For me it has been 34 years and he only gets better with age, just like a fine cognac! Can't wait to see what he brings next. My love is forever in you Morrissey!!!
This song is hilarious! It turned a day of betrayal by a friend into 5 minutes of lighthearted delight! Morrissey hasn't lost his wit nor sense of humor one bit! I've been out of the loop for so long that I had no clue that Morrissey had any new, good or relevant music. Morrissey got me again. Though I periodically listen to his earlier material, it was a nostalgic trip. I didn't think he could still relate to me. But as Moz warned in The More You Ignore Me, The Closer I Get, just when he's at the furthest thing on your mind, he creeps up from behind and kisses you on the neck most seductively. Damn! What an artist!
Still fresh, still interesting. All of you bitching about WPINOYB, I'll take it over Kill Uncle any day. And what came next is even better. But this is great.
Kick the Bride Down the Aisle Morrissey Kick the bride down the aisle And make no mistake It's the best you can do for everyone's sake Kick the bride down the aisle And treasure the day I know so much more than I'm willing to say She just wants a slave To break his back in pursuit of a living wage So that she can laze and graze For the rest of her days Write down every word I say Kick the bride down the aisle In a mudslide of gloom She'll order you to tidy your room Kick the bride down the aisle Look at that cow in the field It knows more than your bride knows now She just wants a slave To break his back in pursuit of a living wage So that she can laze and graze For the rest of her days Write down every word I say You're that stretch of the beach That the tide doesn't reach No meaning, no reason The lonely season Kick the bride down the aisle And treasure the day Songwriters: TOBIAS JESSE ALEJANDRO / MORRISSEY STEVEN

Somebody needs to make a song about male golddiggers. My cousin's husband took all her money and ran out on her. It isn't just women. She should have kicked the groom down the aisle!!
People who say these new Morrissey songs are the best he's ever produced haven't listened to his earlier work. This album has to be the worst he's ever produced, both lyrically, artistically and instrumentally.
Oh yes, you're the only person who has listened to Morrissey's work with the Smiths and all his post-Smiths work prior to this album. And given that irrational assertion, we're supposed to accept your authority as a music critic. Please think prior to posting. Next . . .
Music is a personal. Not everyone likes the same. He's put more disjointed tracks on this album. Maybe this is the element that some don't prefer so much? What we need to realise is he is a poet and a literary genius. It's his thing.
I will defend your position to have this opinion Martyn but I shall not agree with it. I love this album as a development of focus on political ideas without jingoism.
A great artist as Morrissey is will never be gagged. Long live The greatest Mr Steven Patrick Morrissey.
Amen

Totally agree! I love this album too much. Kick the bride... it`s a baroque masterpiece.
Moz is the only singer I know of who can give a slap in the face eloquently and with genteel grace.
Never a truer word spoken. For someone whom I assume has never even entertained the absurd idea of marriage, he has, as usual, nailed it on the brideshead.
Mooooz💖
Yeah well sometimes the guy is the gold digger.

You're that stretch of the beach
That the tide doesn't reach
No meaning, no reason
The lonely season
this man for me is God I bow down to him
Look at that cow; in the field it knows more than your bride now... OOOF!
Moz the RP bro and he foresaw Jordan Peterson's quote Tidy Your Bedroom. This man is the one
I think this is the best album since quarry and this is my favourite track , love it loads :)

Moz you are my life
Kick the Bride Down the Aisle
Morrissey
Kick the bride down the aisle
And make no mistake
It's the best you can do for everyone's sake
Kick the bride down the aisle
And treasure the day
I know so much more than I'm willing to say
She just wants a slave
To break his back in pursuit of a living wage
So that she can laze and graze
For the rest of her days
Write down every word I say
Kick the bride down the aisle
In a mudslide of gloom
She'll order you to tidy your room
Kick the bride down the aisle
Look at that cow in the field
It knows more than your bride knows now
She just wants a slave
To break his back in pursuit of a living wage
So that she can laze and graze
For the rest of her days
Write down every word I say
You're that stretch of the beach
That the tide doesn't reach
No meaning, no reason
The lonely season
Kick the bride down the aisle
And treasure the day

Haha!
Not always. Johnny Marr and Angie have been happily married for almost 40 years. Some people find that special person and are happy.
Morrissey does Jonathan Richman. "There's something about Morrissey."
genius
Exactly what every gold diggers deserves in their marriage ceremonies.
Yeah really...Slept this track and at the after party LOL

All women are gold diggers, only their ambitions vary.
Moz the MRA
this
just go tanning in the canaries
What about men who marry women for their vast fortunes, Moz? This can go two ways, you know.
How common is that? Lol.
