yeah this game is a mess , kenshi sento is way too much overpowered , homelander hitbox its broken , ashrah deal way too much damage , repitile nitara sub zero are trash chars , no uses , scorpion is unga bunga trows spears all the time then win eats projetiles , jonny cage have infinite pressure and instant broken parries , kung lao players are also annoying jump back all the time and do stupid shit , a lot of micros , no offline content , bad otimizations .. yeah

Even a fan like me agree with you that if you bought the Premium Edition, just leave it at that and don’t go buying any other paywalled content. Besides, the free content you can get from grinding Invasions and Mastery levels are good enough
Here’s my advice anyone interested in buying the game: buy the Premium Edition but only when it’s on discount. Wait a while if you must, because it is not worth buying the game on its full price

My biggest problem, is that I got it for pc and it struggles to run, I've got all the correct settings and up-to-date stuff and it still struggles, I'm waiting at the loading screen for ages. If they made it better on pc I'd play.
Only reason I hope on is to unlock the fatalities. That’s it only season one was worth it for the scorpion skin and the last season for dark raiden

All these new skins that are apparently apart of the “reptile season” are just “green clothes.” What’s worse is that in Story Mode mind you, they did a reptilian version of Sindel and the official one we got is just once again “green dress.”

Homelander and Omni-Man are the only reasons why I even considered getting this game
Fun fact: in last couple of trailers and showcases of homelander, they didn't even mentioned any buffs or nerfs in any character and they didn't even teased or mention anything new in season 6 which means they KNEW SEASON 6 WOULD SUCK AND DON'T WANT TO ADMIT THE FACT THAT IT DOES SUCK!
To be honest. I don't even think mortal kombat one is even savable here. They messed up badly with the customization options here as well as the fact the Johnny cage bug is still persistent here (unless it's been patched here).

I got the Earthrealm skins for the characters only because i still have my dragon crystals from day one. These are the first skins I've been interested in.
They do look nice, tho. Too bad you can only get a limited amount of krystals for free

I disagree completely. now I’m not going to sit here and pretend like mk1 is even remotely good, let alone worth however many hours I’ve put into it, but you gotta chill out man. it’s one thing to call out problems with the game but it’s another to do it in the most dramatic way possible. it’s not constructive for anyone to try to roast people in response to things disappointing you or making you mad. it makes people less likely to listen, even. yes, the game has issues. maybe if you were a little less of an asshole about calling them out I’d be a like and subscribe instead of a dislike.
The fact that season of Reptile have less stuff than previous because was intentional. According to reliable leakers, only “few last seasons” (around three to make for Takeda/story dlc/KP2, imo) left before recycle. As for NRS death. It might happen, but not due to themselves because reminder. Zaslav tried to sell NRS two years before release of MK1.

As someone who pre-ordered this game in hopes that it would be a improved version of MK11, I do feel that it’s lacking in content overall.
I was able to obtain the skins that were in the store thanks to the Sanctuary that is used with the in-game currencies, so it is not necessary to spend money on dragon crystals to obtain the skins from the store😅

A leaker on the Mortal Kombat leaks subreddit stated that Invasions season skins are getting wound down going forward for the last few remaining seasons. That explains this disappointing lack of skins in this season, and likely will be so for the upcoming ones
I know, a huge bummer that Invasions isn’t gonna have that many skins anymore. I must admit I agree that MK 1 is something of a downgrade from MK 11 when it comes to the number of available skins
people have been complaining about too many skins that did nothing. I honestly prefer less good skins than a lot more bad skins. The reptile season only had like 3-5 pallete swaps.

At Least the Game is Improving One Piece at a Time.
My disappointment with the Homelander DLC is that MK1 didn't put more brutalities/fatalities for him in the game. When watching The Boys, you can see at least 5 ways Homelander kills his opps that could've easily translated into the game just like Nether Realm did with Omni-Man. But instead, they only gave us like 2. So, in addition to probably undercutting Antony Starr with not paying him what he's worth, they undercut the player from the full Homelander experience.

Mk1 isn’t dead until the 3rd or 2 dlc
Mk1 cannot be saved, cause it's problems are intrinsic in the game itself, a single character can't save it, balancing won't help cause every character is incomplete, the broken characters, are not really broken, either they are slightly more complete or the others are too incomplete they can add moves, but every character needs at least 5 new moves, invasion is just bad it can't get better, customization is none existant, skins can't help much cause it's hard to make many skins with these graphics quickly, (although they are quite lazy We could get at least twice more skins, and they could've at least made you choose the colors yourself) they should've added more gears, cause ye it's more work, but allows more customization with less items.
Fixing the game means creating a new game entirely, they can at most make it decent, and by that I mean a bad game with hardcore community that gets many even if small updates
I mean, they can make fighters more complete. Updates to movesets of Rain and Reptile proof it. It just they won’t to do it for whatever reason

As much as I hate MK11 for it's story I feel like that game and injustice 2 did customization far better than MK1. In Injustice 2 I could make batman look like a damn inquisitor or sith lord if I wanted to, now in MK1 we only get a helmet and a mediocre skin.
Honesty, I'm ok with fewer skins if we get more high-quality skins.
Now I know why MK1 is losing so much sales here. Even their invasion mode is very lazy here. Even I gotten tired of Neatheralm Studios. Why can't they make a new Shaolin Monks game or some action style beat em game. SF6 and Tekken 8 is beating MK1 on sales.

I don't know much about this game, but I don't like licensed characters in Mortal Komat, and to think of the fact that Homelander is not voiced by his original voice actor just makes it even worse

if they're going to keep adding more skins that cost dragon crystals, there should be more ways to obtain them. It's been almost 9 months since the game's release, and they're purposefully making free dragon crystals scarce to get you to pay for those skins. You used to be able to get everything with the free dragon crystals in the omni-man update, but not anymore. Other than that, there is literally nothing I can say to defend m1k anymore

I like the story of Mk 1 a lot. I also like the dlc characters and I think they’re a ton of fun to play as. With that being said that’s about all I like about the game. It mostly just feels empty and doesn’t seem like there’s anything fun about the game other than the story and playing against other people. That’s about as far as the fun goes. Now if they brought the krypt and towers of time back on top of being different skins to choose from and more content in general. I think it would be a whole lot better but that’s just me.

Homelander is just another Superman clone. Like if Omniman was not enough. Because we have tons of forgotten MK characters from old games and even comic books from the 90s that could have been added in to MK. But what do we have? A frigging Superman clone in a game about martial arts tournament, where different fighters are trying to save their world from total destruction. So why not release Injustice 3 and put Homelander in there instead? Oh, I see. Because they simply took Injustice 3 and remade it in to MK1. You can even see it in characters. Like, Rain now is a Aquaman and Shao Kahn (yes Kahn, I will call him that) are Steppenwolf, including Ashrah who is basically a Wonderwoman. So yeah, MK almost lost it's identity. Few more releases like this and MK will be another All Stars battle game. And that is not what I dreamed it to be in the future back when I was a kid.

How the hell did NRS get worse with this. No skins in the seasonal store and since MK1 has less gear pieces that meant only 1 thing you could buy in that store pretty much. They didn't even give everyone a reptile skin in invasions. So this season has less content than any other season. Its even more reasons not to play invasions besides the fact that its a slogfest.
