Thank you for being so straightforward and sincere! People don't do this anymore. I really appreciate it!
True
This is a great video. Thanks for sharing these tips Storm. I agree that artists have to become more knowledge on the music industry. Artists have to become more creative on marketing their music. Great tips on giving away music to build a email list, posting videos from live performances, getting legal advice for contracts. I've been posting videos here on YT for artists on marketing, branding, and promotion. The feedback has been great.

Just wanna say thank you for making this video
Great information, thanks! And it's so true that while we all have so many more tools to make and market our own music that also makes the landscape more competitive--but also, it gets incredibly overwhelming for artists now trying to figure out how to get their music out there. Do you build a website? Stream on Spotify? Focus on Twitter or focus on Instagram? All of these tools are awesome but can become a weight on the artist's shoulders.
Thank you

Truest stuff iv ever heard
All the students get the same information about that "skills", therefore it´s not any advantage, it just gets
more brutal and expensive-now every second university teaches "multi media skills" , thats a good business concept,
but only for Universities and for the Social Media Companies, and the music industry.
The result is in many cases, that young musicians spend their time on inventing a "sellable" Pop-Identity,
instead of developing their own personality.Art is Art, and commerce is commerce-we have to be very clear about that.
What an artist needs, is one or more trustworthy persons, to take care of all the business-stuff.
Composing and playing music needs a completely different mindset !
The music business is very simple, if you can be exploited for money, they're interested!
I'm in dangerous and now I hair that the music industrie wanne help me. Please what I need to do. I'm from the Netherlands
"youv got to be more educated when it comes to the music bussiness"
Thats true but then what about Lil Pump...?
I doubt he even bothered researching 1 thing about music...
AMJ Piper and he signed a terrible contract. Also he will most likely not last long
Its because lilpump is a natural born musician and his personality is not that much of a geek nerd type........just punk maybe
I didn't know that Woody Harrelson was a college professor.
