If they did it would be alot of people's endgame mouse including mine (work + gaming in one). Just keep Bluetooth. Strip everything else, keep it ultralight and call it a pro. Done. We can all go home.
Litterally considering getting this mouse and a 3D Scanner to start designing a Light weight shell for it. It's my absolute favorite mouse to hold, but being used to my Glorious Model O's weight I long for the weight reduction of the MX Master 3
6:26 oh so the Left click was made separately for easy replacement? ... that's Cool. now I have more confident opening this shit partially to fix the left clicker.
@@Beardedbob Thanks, I found that if I clicked the pinky and thumb area in first I could push down on the main buttons and everything would snap into place. At first I was trying to avoid pushing down on the buttons. I have a 3s version, I had to replace the lift click switch.
Is this the 3S? the reason I ask is you're one of the few (excellent) sources of actuation force for clicking (an important factor of ergonomics for me) The 3S seems to have a heavily revised microswitch that is quieter, but more importantly has an unknown actuation force that feels *very* light and really, really feels perfect for me. I love a few different razer mice, but their switches feel heavier for sure. it'd be great to know what the 3S is at in case I want to mod some gaming mice to be more friendly! thank you SO much for the data sheets you've provided. they're hugely helpful! there is a glut for keyboards but not for mice.
Logitech always engineer some puzzle of a mouse, even the gaming ones, one layer on top of another, always use 2 screws instead of 1. I'm sure marketing have to fight engineering to make the g pro x so simple.
I would love to have a gaming mouse with the MX Master scroll wheel. The mouse just feels too heavy, the sensor isn't accurate enough and I would prefer a lower mouse shell.
I want to replace/swap some parts of my device, but I'm worried about putting it back together. Any tips on fixing the external "sticky" pads that hide the screws? What glue/method should I use to make them look and work like they did originally? Thanks! (Mine are Master 3S units, but judging by their identical looks, I would bet the same applies on both 3 & 3S)
I really wish they'd make a modern ultralight version of this.
yeah i could do with and update.

I’d say it’s pretty light if anything I need it heavier
@@abstractwars order tungsten cube. Place it inside.
That was a capacitor and the "magnet" is a ferrite bead.

The main wheel block gets stuck easily, but it cannot be further disassembled.
What switches are used? I'm trying to figure out what the click force is.
Are the switches upgradeable?
Yes
I cannot for the life of me put this thing back together. Do I have to gorilla force this thing?
Just take ya time it will go back together 👍.. what did you have to take it apart for

Not plans to stop hit life is getting in the way

@beardedbob will you do a weight reduction for the Razer Cobra Pro wireless?
I really want to weight reduce my mx master 3, you love a video about it.
I have done some but they aren't easy.... If I can recall you can get another 20g out of it or a little more.
@@Beardedbob can you please make the video ? There is no other info out there to reduce the weight
@@Beardedbobthanks yea but would u place some video about it? no need for editing. the whole internet do not give any modding info about it at all😢
Really good video ^^b
Does anyone know the item code for the side button tact switch? 10:00 I'm looking for parts for a self repair.
My right trigger doesn't fit back properly.. Ordered new one and returned old one

doesnt the g502 have somewhat that? its plastic but thus lighter and also got infinity scroll
@@BurnoutWien I might just use my 3d printer to create a special design. The G502 is so heavy and feels a bit too rounded for my preference.
Just out of curiosity, how many mouse do you currently have rn?
good question, tbh I don't know but I do plan to make a video this week and showing them all... my guess is around 150
@@Beardedbob 150!!?!??? GYADDEMN
It would b a pretty sick vid, just flex all those mouses especially thoae with modifications

If you call up Logitech they apparently will just send you new pads as long term or for people who do lots of things like cad they are a consumable
Great video! Thanks for making it ;D
Hey, how much would you charge to mod my razer Naga pro lighter?
Check out shop.Beardedbob.com I’ve jsut done one and it went from 135g to 99g and still looks stock
@@Beardedbob I can't find it one the website can you send me the link?

This video helped me replace the mouse shell! It was crucial! Thank you for making it!
Np glad it helped
@@Beardedbob Thanks for the video! had an issue with the mouse wheel not stepping (Magent circuit unplugged over time) replugged and now it's all good
