I have a Staccato P Heritage. I LOVE it, very happy. Spending 3k on a pistol isn't for everyone and it certainly wasn't for me for a long time. Could I be happier with something cheaper, probably. But I'm a sucker for marketing

Bought a second P the same year for my wife. She'd been eyeing mine and I felt guilty. 😅 Got an XC for duty carry last year. Another no regret Staccato. Whatever model, you have an eye for, go for it. Life's short.
Staccato had a range day in Conroe, TX one year. I went and fell in LOVE with them! Shot all 3 models they had and tried to get them to sell me the used ones... No Dice. But someday, I will bite the bullet and get the P or XC.

Me personally, I’d rather have a Staccato than go on Vacation, so I just think of my purchases as “instead” of a vacation. (At least I will when I can afford to keep the guns we buy for videos)

Debating on this or milling a Dan Wesson DWX which would come in around the same price or a little lower after milling for an optic. Hmmm
I’ve found that you have to be much more mindful of pretty much all movements when carrying strong side with either the printing or clothes getting hung up or actually exposing your pew pew.
This is what we seem to encounter a lot of; people wanting 2011’s that are every bit as good as a staccato without the price and they almost always end up buying a staccato down the road. You can find them used for usually around $2k!!
yall should definitely check out the stealth arms platypus. i havent been able to customize one that costs more than 2000 and when you get one you pick every single tiny little detail about it. from color and trigger type to the pins used to put it together and their color as well
Guns like this are nice...BUT... they are just status pieces for gun guys. It's sort of like buying a fancy cars because "you like it" but you really want to impress your neighbors. The fact is, that very neighbor doesn't know your name and doesn't give a shit. Very nice gun. Well made. Best 2011. It only took them 20+ years to get it right.
Does it shoot pretty flat? Is it close to something like a CZ shadow 2 or an Sig p226 legion?? How’s the recoil? I’m really thinking of getting one , Also thank you for sharing
No comparison to those guns, you’re talking single action hammer fired vs double action. The CZ shadow 2 imo is a better shooting gun, but the staccato is a duty use pistol with insane reliability and performance. All guns shoot really flat for me so this is no exception. You would be happy with a staccato or that Shadow 2

They are solid guns but the 2011 market has just gotten better in the past few years. You can get a Platypus from Stealth Arms that runs with Glock mags for 1400 dollars, a couple hundred more if you want custom cerakote. I’ve heard great things about them and I doubt the average shooter could tell the difference.

I was literally up last night for an hour watching youtube and browsering staccato p listings, that price tag tho ugh. i dont generally spend more than 1k on guns (base). I think there is a similar "thing" for staccatos too though yes? You buy the $2500-3000 pistol then you still have to put more into it vs just out of the box? I have no clue, havent spend even a full day with any of my 2011 yet. Good video
@@BrandonLamb1 staccato was $2500 +$100 for the plate and $400 for the 507Comp optic. For the $2500 price you get all the stuff we have without the dot. It’s a great buy- we will absolutely keep trying the new 2011’s coming out though to see how they compare!!
I build and modify Prodigies. The MIM internals aren’t great. Neither are the safeties and the TI firing pin. Swapping the internals with staccato parts is a welcomed upgrade with minimal tuning. A major issue I have found with Prodigies is the chamber dimensions. Early Prodigies had super tight chambers that weren’t finished. When returning them to Springfield they typically ream the chamber and do some re fitting of the barrel

This makes me think about the HCAR 3006 rifle.... During John Dillinger and Bonnie and Clyde days they had the full auto BAR 3006 ... Back then it was about $320... That does convert to the $7000 they want for the HCAR in today's money... But to me it's not worth 7K it's worth about 3K because its semiautomatic... I just can't see $2500 for a pistol thats not a personalized custom

I have the Staccato P and the MPA DS9 for 2500 bucks the DS9 is way better entry level 2011 range toy. Staccato P would be a better all around range / carry 2011.

Your videos are getting better. Constructive criticism: work on editing out more of the fat. Meaning, if you're not doing or saying anything interesting, instead of one continuous shot where you're shooting and then walking to the individual targets just show the shooting and cut to the targets. Walking around and barely talking or not talking at all slows the video down and kills its energy. It's more complicated than that, it was just the only example I could give to explain what the editing is lacking
The big conundrum we face is RUclips wanting more runtime. Realistically I could make the videos shorter (and we used to do just that) but if you don’t pass 15minutes or even 20 minutes RUclips reduces the reach of your content…. Really weird place to be in between not wasting time and wasting just enough time the algorithm is happy. 🙃

Ported bull armory’s don’t do anything unfortunately, the version we tested was ported and it recoils more than this

Mounting an optic on my staccato adds recoil. It’s def smoother w/o an optic mounted.

I had a Prodigy. It was not nearly as reliable as my Staccato. I sold my Prodigy. That's my experience

We have tried a few Bull Armory’s and they haven’t converted us yet, but we’re always open and that may change in the future!
