    I love these kinds of videos! You came up with a simple solution for something I never thought of before. Now I am able to make that part I cannot find anywhere for one of my cars because of your brilliant idea. Thanks Keith!

    Download the manual to the original Egress 58079 and print out the page containing step 18 in 1:1, then you will have a template for the shape. It also shows the there are 2 small pieces that sits in the holes where the mounts sits. Just an observation and a hint 👍🏼😊

      @rcicons4915  Год назад

      I have the small metal pieces although they really are not needed if the piece of steel you use is a bit thicker like what I used. They are to keep the 8and9 from pushing through the bottom of the arm although it would take a massive slam to the ground for that to happen. Great observation though.

    As a racer, I might not have used B8/9 to lay the shocks down more for better control and less body lean in the corners. Under power, the front end will have no issues lifting back up. When the shocks are more straight up and down it can cause traction rolling to be more of an issue and in the corners the body will roll more, and if you don’t have enough adjustment to adjust the roll center, laying the shock down definitely helps with that too.

    Sometimes you have to make something that is not being made! I have made a few parts over the years to either get by in a pinch or to make something better or something not being made! Great video and great project for a really good cause. It sucks they are going through all that and they can't get the testing done where they are.

    Thanks Keith very much for another mention on your video its greatly appreciated.
    I started to write an email to you in regards to what has happened but got side tracked due to my wife's Assistance dog being diagnosed with two tutors which unfortunately are inoperable! I will hopefully finish the email soon. Again thank you buddy.

    If you'd like to make you pliars magnetic if you have a magnetic screw tray like a workshop one place the tool in it for a while and it will end up magnetic..
