Succulent information Care tips for succulents
1)SOIL- well draining ,porous,loose soil…non organic,a soil media that doesn’t retain moisture.
2)POT - smaller the pot better ideally 3-4 inches pot depth is good enough for a medium size succulent.
3)WATERING - only when the soil is bone dry however green coloured succulents like haworthia ,aloe mainTain slight Moisture but not soggy wet soil.
4)LIGHT - brightly coloured succulents provide direct morning sunlight for 5-6 hours post acclimation .Green coloured succulents like haworthia, strings of pearls or any string varieties indirect bright light.
5)Fertiliser - is not the top priority if you don’t use fertilisers it’s fine…but if you do go for liquid based fertiliser 1/2 the strength what’s mentioned on the bottle dilute in water ….and only feed the succulents that are in their growing period …never feed dormant succulents…never add too much fertiliser it will make the succulent weaker …during the growing period once a month or once in two month should be good ….wishing you all the luck

Great info 💖
Glad it was helpful!
Lovely pups😊
Thank you!! ❤️
I have also done leaf propogation this season and man it's testing my patience.
already hahah ….it’s a very long process remember 2-3 years 😁
Mine imhas just started having roots what should I do please help
lay them on soil and then after two days moisten the soil
Superb info 👌 .... what to do if the pup has reached a decent size but is still attached to mother leaf & the mother leaf is hasn't dried at all .. 😮
don't separate let it be with the mother leaf
@@LushGardener yess sir. Its a leaf propagation.
sorry i corrected lol ..i mean let the pup stay with the mother leaf even if the pup as reached a decent size.. it may grow bit faster if its still connected
@@LushGardener yes, will do. Thanks.
Hlo
Is it ok to propagate leaves in winter n also repotting succulents n cactus on a dry soil
Tks
if the temperatures are very low and your growing them outdoor avoid it ..but if they are indoor under grow lights you can as dormancy doesn’t affect indoor succulents 😊💖
Hlo
Can u pls tell me the name of the name in English "falsa" they r roundish pink berries
Tks
i didn't get you FALSA is it a type of succulent ?
Pls let me know if leaf propagation can b done in a transparent white plastic bowl without drainage
it can be done but i would say to be on safer side let there be a drain hole ..otherwise it will be quite confusing as you need to be extremely careful with watering you don't want water to pool inside the container
@@LushGardener no o just spray when I c it's dry but they hve come up
Hw do I send u the.pic to show u
Can u pls explain
Also pls let me know the propagation n it's requirements of flapjack kalankoie
Boss LG IS IT ALWAYS BOTOM WATERING? OR WE CAN SPRINKLE IT WITH WATER? THEN THE LEAVES WILL BE WET. PLS ADVICE LG.. THANKS
you can water from above too..but ensure the leaves don’t get wet with water droplets..so you have to be extremely careful if you don’t want that hassle then bottom watering is a life saver lol
@@LushGardener hmm yeah.. so hard with water from above. Better bottom
I recently purchased a ghost plant (graptopetalum paraguayense) kept it in indirect bright light for a month but when I tried to acclimate it to morning sun (1 hrs for 3 days), it started to drop it's leaf... Now shifted it back to indirect bright light but it only has one or two tiny leaf on its crown, now it's not growing please help 🙏
what soil did you use ?...there is some issue with the roots
@@LushGardener I prepare my own soil mix(homemade cocopeat, sand, perlite, crushed pot (diya) pieces) which I use for all of my succulent..
@@LushGardener actually last year same thing happened with graptopetalum super bum which was thriving amazing in morning sun but during summer time when it got over exposed to sun may be till 12:30 pm it started to drop leaf and never revived back
yes its not due to sun ..cocopeat is the reason..in sun they will get burnt but they wont drop leaves ..were the leaves wide open before they started to fall ?
@@LushGardener actually I am using homemade cocopeat which help my succulent to grow causes I am using terracotta pots for my succulent which needs frequent watering like after every 3 days soil gets completely dry under morning sun
