Succulent information Care tips for succulents
1)SOIL- well draining ,porous,loose soil…non organic,a soil media that doesn’t retain moisture.
2)POT - smaller the pot better ideally 3-4 inches pot depth is good enough for a medium size succulent.
3)WATERING - only when the soil is bone dry however green coloured succulents like haworthia ,aloe mainTain slight Moisture but not soggy wet soil.
4)LIGHT - brightly coloured succulents provide direct morning sunlight for 5-6 hours post acclimation .Green coloured succulents like haworthia, strings of pearls or any string varieties indirect bright light.
5)Fertiliser - is not the top priority if you don’t use fertilisers it’s fine…but if you do go for liquid based fertiliser 1/2 the strength what’s mentioned on the bottle dilute in water ….and only feed the succulents that are in their growing period …never feed dormant succulents…never add too much fertiliser it will make the succulent weaker …during the growing period once a month or once in two month should be good ….wishing you all the luck

I use a large pipette same amount of control 😊
:) nice
I started first batch of leaf propagation with just cocopeat. This was before I saw your videos on leaf propagation. Have been watering alternate day and keeping in bright light. It has been 3 weeks, roots and new growth have shown up in most of them.
Second batch I have started 4 days back after watching your videos. Cocopeat and soil I have tried this time. Will update subsequently
awesome ...3weeks is a good success rate :) wishing you all the best and keep me updated so excited :)
@LushGardener Some leaves got spoilt as I hadn't arranged them in a proper way and water spilled on them while watering. This was the mistake I did and have corrected it in second batch. But the majority of leaves survived and showing good results in first batch.
so good to hear its been a success..dont worry the initial is always difficult ..i gained success after so many attempts haha
I'm just trying my hands in succulents after following ur videos. Your encouragement means a lot. Thanq sir
I use peatmoss with choir is that ok and I let my leaves stay on till they fall off
thats fine no issue :)
What variety of succulents are all those leaf pups from?
mostly echeveria
@@LushGardener- u should make a video of a Garden tour of your plants, and what u hope to accomplish this yr.
I do bottom watering...i have propogated in 2 shallow pots..one have sand only sand and other have cocopeat, sand ...so leaves in sand propogated faster than in cocopeat mix..i don't know why .. sand mix pot recives some amount of afternoon sunlight but cocopeat one kept in bright location.... waiting for cocopeat mix leaves to propogate... anyways very helpful video 😊❤️🙏
oh nice looks like sand works well in your environment..try with what works best in your environment..lucky you here in afternoon sun the leaves will get crisp haha
It's been 1 & half months no pups are coming only roots why LG 😢
oh it all depends on the leaf some will put only roots some will take even more longer depends on the leaf and the environment try some more
@@LushGardener hmm also could be I overwatered previously & major roots died leaf is okay and new roots coming like crazy let's see what happens hoping for the best as always
oh the same ones ..yes maybe due to excess water
