      I think the full interview provided a different context. I think he meant that completing passes was easier, because the receivers he has now are better.
      Which is also crazy, because he's completing 44% of his passes. And 2 of his WRs at Florida were drafted, one of them in the first round (Pearsall).
      I'm a big fan of AR, but this is a horrible look.

    • @greyklopstock7155
      @greyklopstock7155 23 дня назад

      @@zackhurwitz9441as a niners fan, when I watched Pearsall's film, I felt like every other play I was saying "gah damn, these throws are atrocious! Those QBs are trying to get Ricky taken off the field on a stretcher!" Late, off target, balls that lead the receiver into BIG hits that are potential picks if the receiver doesn't catch it, no touch, there were so many garbage throws. And even the ones that were caught, often times Ricky missed out on a bunch of YAC due to having to stop momentum and contort his body just to have a chance at the ball. Dead serious, Ricky Pearsall missed out on AT LEAST 100-150 extra receiving yards bare minimum due to poor ball placement every year. Cause he'd route people up all day in the slot and outside, and his QB would put it over his head or lead him into a freight train and he'd still go up and get it.
      I'll admit, I HATED the pick when I first saw Ricky's stats at Florida. I was like "we're the only franchise dumb enough to use a first round pick on a receiver who couldn't catch for 1000 yards in college." But after seeing the tape, I came away feeling like Ricky was a lot better than the counting stats said and he was in some ways held back by inferior QB play

    If you can't tell by my name, I'm a diehard Colts fan. So this might end up being really long and incoherent, but fuck it.
    This is a nightmare. I'm not whining, we had it better than just about any fanbase ever has it for 15+ years. Ever since about, 2015.. everything involving that position has gone to shit. Luck had another good year or two, Rivers played alright when he was here.. other than that, disaster.
    Finally, we draft a kid instead of praying Luck decides to come back and throwing a bandaid on the QB spot every year. He's super talented, seems like a great kid, we aren't great anyway, he can take his lumps and learn.
    Boom, injured immediately. Not his fault, try it again this year. Boom, injured again. And when he is on the field, he has absolutely zero idea where the ball is going. None. I've watched him 3 or 4 times sail passes to Downs in the flat 5 YARDS over his head. Like, Mo Alie-Cox isn't catching that shit.
    He tries to run everyone over. He is maybe the most inaccurate thrower of the ball I have ever seen. His only skill passing wise is throwing 99 mph fastballs, no matter what route/what coverage you're in.
    And now, in a close game against our main rival in the division, you're gonna take yourself out for being TIRED? Do you not think the wideouts running 30+ yards every play are tired? Do you not feel a responsibility to your teammates to help them win? What a joke. You don't think big Q and those guys are tired protecting you?
    We're a better team with Flacco at QB. Sucks because we all REALLY wanted AR to work out. But the instant he went in front of the media and said that shit, it was over.
    Andrew Luck literally lacerated his kidney in a game and KEPT PLAYING. We're not asking you to risk your life. If you're hurt, don't play. But tired? Come on man. Everyone alive is tired.

    Justin fields use to be getting his ass handed to him in Chicago, and he never did this. Plenty of Qb's throughout NFL history have had their shyt HANDED to them, and they didn't do this. Bro is done. He's gonna be a backup, and the only reason he will still be on the team or maybe see the field is because of what they are paying him. Colts will definitely be drafting a QB in the upcoming draft, and Richardson will be thrown in the trash when that contract is no longer hurting the colts. 👎🏾
