  • In this video I'm going to show you why I prefer wholesale vendors opposed to retail stores like Hobby Lobby or Michaels for heat transfer vinyl. The prices speak for themselves.

I understand shopping local retailers for immediate needs. However, being newer to this, how much has to be purchased online to comp for the shipping vs 40% sales? 🤔

Let's just say I've never paid over $12.95 for shipping and I buy in bulk. Like big 5 yard rolls and several 3 yard rolls. My last order was over two hundred dollars and I didn't pay any shipping.

thanks for the info total noob and new subbie here. No business or anything yet but I love crafting. Just been watching a ton of vids for the past year or so. From what I see siser is the way to go as far as retail vinyl goes. Going to have to research online but there are so many companies its hard to decide lol. A lot of crafters seem to like 143 vinyl as well. I've ordered from MSC, HTVront , techwrap. Anywho sorry so long but I'd love to hear how you got started.

I got started just like you. I have a background in graphic arts but I only learned how to do screen printing. Once I got a whiff of vinyl I jumped on it. Really wish I had learned sooner. But yea, I just watched tones of videos until I felt comfortable enough to purchase my own equipment. Once I did that it was up from there. I studied at RUclips University, lol.
