I'm from Denmark and a Hank Thompson fan since childhood in the 60's. Yes, his records made it over here back then. 20 years ago he answered a letter I wrote him. What a nice guy.

Hank is one of the few very great authentic Texas country-western performers and Hall of Famer! His entire collection of songs and Bear Family Albums are a collectors dream.

Jimmy Dean is to be given credit for exposing the country to this kind of music. Some of my first TV memories are from this show and ROLF! Dean knew talent... Thompson was a GOD.

I thought I'd heard all of Hank's songs. "Yesterday's Girl" used to be my favorite, but now this one is. Almost everytime I turn on my computer I have to listen to it.

One of the highlights of my life was to get to DANCE with my sexy wife to Hanks music in the US NATIONAL GAURD ARMOURY in Tucumcari, NM, in the 1950's.
One of the best entertainers in my 85 years, for sure!
