- Coming up in this episode of The Theme Park News Show, I talk about the opening date for Star Wars: Rise Of The Resistance at both Disneyland and Walt Disney World. Along with that I take a look at a POV of Steel Curtain at Kennywood, share news from Universal Studios Hollywood on the opening of Jurassic World and much more!

To add to the disappointment of Tayto Park's refused coaster plans, Parc Asterix's Intamin Multi Launch Coaster is being apparently pushed back to 2022, due to some forest sections they intended to knock down for the construction. So hopefully, they'll sort out the situation and 2022 will be the year Parc Asterix will open the coaster. But I was looking forward to Walibi Belgium's Intamin Mega Coaster battling with Asterix for the best new coaster of Europe in 2021...but now maybe Europa Park's Mack coaster and Efteling's family launch (subject to new planning applications) will be the battle of 2021

According to DSNY newscast the rise of the resistance issue was the RFID sensors in the floor being slightly out of place. WDW are managing to get that sorted before the floor is finished. Benefits of being behind 😃
Both rise of the resistances have been having very major technical difficulties

Now that Lego's taken over Merlin, I would LOVE a Legoland Waterpark in Windsor - something that they could keep open through the miserable closed season!

Hi Shawn, in Tayto Park, they added two new rollercoasters, they are a bit childish. They are Ladyburd Loop and Flight School, if you want to check those out.

That was random as hell shawn, met you near my hotel randomly just after saying to my wife " I wonder if we will see shawn in the park tonight" then not seeing you at all during late night riding at Blackpool, your insparational , I've baught my cam , and vids coming RUclips way as soon as , oh icon rides o much better when its had all day to warm up that was fast

I really hope we don’t lose JP in Florida. It’s my favourite water ride in the world, and as much as some animatronics may be outdated, I’m really not a fan of screens on rides (even if it does not look too bad from POV’s I’ve seen). There’s also just something special about the ‘Welcome to Jurassic Park’ to start the ride.

Just come back from a trip to LA and stopped in Disneyland along with other parks. Got to say Star Wars area was brilliant and so immersive and I’m not a fan of Star Wars. Must be brilliant for the Star Wars enthusiasts!!

Interesting move with Star Wars Land and the Jurassic World retheme. I’m very disappointed by the Tayto park coasters being declined.
Glad you touched on the attendance at wDL since GE opened. Been studying many vlogs on this topic. Have they made a billion dolla mistake with their own take on STarwars ? Many seem to think it should have been the more traditional characters that EVERYbody can relate to. Who knows, could you look into it and make a special vlog with your own thoughts in more depth ?

Disney attendance is low definitely because no one wanted to plan a trip during this insanity it was projected to be. I moved my trip to before Galaxies Edge to avoid crowds, tons of people did the same out of fear. However attendance isn’t that much lower and probably would be normal without the blackouts. Really mostly locals are the ones that would pack it for opening and they can’t go right now.

I've Been Told The New Starwars Ride Had Issues With The Trackless System And Because Florida Was Running Behind It Worked To Their Advantage To Fix What The Problem Was

i was born in witney went to witney feast every year now live in irelandv and work on a funfair for the last 36 years always said over here neaded a theampark and now somthing like this happens tayto park needs theas rides its not fair that the councel can just reject with out giving them jance to come to a comprmise
After seeing the housing issues in Dublin An Bord pleanala couldn't organise a pissup in a brewery so sadly their decision on Tayto park doesn't surprise me.

i went in UNTAMED in walibi holland and omg it is called untamed for a reason I was very lucky that untamed had a malfunction other wise I would be waiting for an half hour it isnt much but you dont want to wait oh yeah before I forget for the people who want to know the best seat in untamed is all the way in de back and then try to take the left seat then you will get a real crazy ride I cant wait till I see a reaction from you

I have been on the original Jurassic park ride years ago and enjoyed it, I’m sure the new one is good too, but I so much prefer Jurassic the movie to Jurassic world, so I’d prefer it stay as Park but maybe with just some improvements.

About the refused coaster, why buy a house near a theme park if you don’t want noise.

you can not film onride at the UK theme parks, the only ones that you can film at are (flamingo land, lightwater vally and some smaller parks). it is restricted to do this as it does class as loose articals
I own various Go Pro cameras however we can only use them at some theme parks
If people are complaining about noise couldn't they do an indoor coaster or underground, or as you said move it further away from the residents.

Please come to tayto Park it’s my home park,also I went to Alton towers the last three days and my top 5 is very weird according to other people. I’m 11 and of been on all rides in BPB and Alton towers and one day I want to be like you and travel the world 🎢🎡

jurrasic world ride i hate, i saw the firs pov came up of it, i love the entrence of the mosa skeltinton, and the screen the water effect of it splashing the car, but they got lazy from there untill the fight between 3 things its bad. no new dino other then blue and indo no stickie or carno, they kept the stego animmatronics in there (yuck) witch is shire lazyness cos there tird and old and in the same place same with para coming up outer water NOOOOO, it dunt belong in jurrasic world, raptor pen from JP1 isnt in JW that was also lazyness, dilos aint in JW and there on the ride. the raptor coming down from celing in the same way as JP dunt belong there. then its gets into the fight witch is amazing how did that. thats bout it. 2 brillent thing but too much bad stuff on it. i give it 3/10 if them bits wernt in there then it be 10/10

Disneylands ROTR Attraction is Fully Operational as the Emperor might put it... Still Fans are Forced to visit Florida to fuel their newly built Resorts and Transportstion system.
Creepy as it may be... The new Resort Tower resembles a structure found on Epstein Island???
This is a new low just to compete with Universal Florida. Guest that want to get the Complete Experience from Starwars land most embark on an unnesary adventure just to visit the most expensive Comic Con Gift Shop...
