Bro don’t forget your og fans when you blow up, you’re close to getting there too your new tik tok got 200k likes 🤯 you’re my inspiration i wanna be a jeweler when im older i’m already buying the tools needed little by little 😁
Yo man. Hella inspired to make my own Cuban after this. I’m wondering what gauge your 14k was before making jump rings and the final width of the bracelet with that gauge. And if you don’t mind sharing your secret, how do I know what size rod to wrap the links around for a tight fit link. Thanks 4 your time
Now that is a real Miami Cuban link chain. They must be handmade to be a real chain. The lock is also awesome. That lock is not coming loose. Maybe one day I can afford a chain made by you.
Yes sir!!!!! That is beautiful my friend. I will learn this trade. Love the content. Keep up the great work. O yea the chain and box set up is.. like the song said... perfect!
This the hotness!! Marv!!!🔥🔥🔥 I’ve been following you and your progressive evolution for years!! You have steady inspired my growth as an aspiring jeweler and entrepreneur Been using every dime of profit to buy equipment needed for cuban links Thank you! One Love
AWESOME VIDEO! Where can I find an oval mandrel for crafting these links? Are there any stores you know of that sell them, or is it something that needs to be custom-made?
Could you make a video explaining all the equipment you need and where to buy it. Also could you go into further detail what size wire and how many inches to make different size chains? And what size copper wire you use for different size chains.
Checking out the video from Canada. Thanks for the great video. What would your recommended mandrel size be for best results using 2mm sterling silver wire. Ive been messing around all day but haven't had very good results. I would appreciate any advice you could give to help me along.
I’m new to metalworking what is a good rolling mill u would recommend? And where do u buy your metals from. Also I been shining my peices with a flex shaft using white diamond etc etc. any advice for a self taught novice
What do you use to wrap the wire around? I have only been able to find round metal rods and not the oval kind that you need for that shape, I appreciate any info on what or where you get that shaped metal from.
You can use round brass rods. Take them and flatten them a little using your rolling mill, that's how u get the oval shape. There is a good book by Alan Revere called "Professional Jewelry Making". In it he explains how to make different types of chains and rings, I think clasps too, including the cuban link.
Clean af 🔥 you're my hero man. I like you're unique technique. You dont twist the links first you jump right in with the wrench to turn them and I like the custom copper wire spacing rod. I'll always be a subscriber and after some saving maybe a buyer!
yo whats the name of the beat that starts at 4:52?, that shit hitting hard. Love how the chain came out by the way, if I didnt see the vid, I had thought it was made by some cubans in Miami
The first time you heated up the wire gold what did you dip it in ? Looks like water. Second after you coiled up the wire and heated it up what solution did u dip it in and how long?
Dang I’ll be honest, I thought this video was going to be underwhelming but you really surprised me man. First time viewer. That chain came out amazing bro! You really have some great skills, keep up the beautiful work sir!!!
Wow. Came out perfect! I don't know if you made the chain for yourself or for a customer but whoever wears it is going to receive very nice complements for sure. By the way, I'm a new subscriber. Looking forward seeing more of your videos!!
Great video. Hey Marv I'm curious when you rolled the wire into a link and cut it what did you do to close the link back? Also what was the light blue liquid you put the links in? Thx.. appreciate your video. Hitting the subscribe button now.
major respect man. I've made a few cubans before and the twist is not an easy journey by any means especially to get it to hang straight. what aspect ratio did you use for your wire and rod to twist it around? your copper wire looked round but the links look oval did you wrap around an oval spindle or reshape after? I'd love to see more on how you avoid your chain from twisting when hanging straight but also getting good movement when worn. Keep up the good work
The work the jeweler put in to make a cuban is just amazing 👍🏼👍🏼 wow
Wild to see you doing this whole thing by hand! Amazing job bro.

Hey Marv I’m a big fan of your work. Can you tell me what draw plate that is you used on the copper wire? If you have a link I would appreciate that.

Great video. Hey Marv I'm curious when you rolled the wire into a link and cut it what did you do to close the link back? Also what was the light blue liquid you put the links in? Thx.. appreciate your video. Hitting the subscribe button now.
Question: Since you used 3mm wire to make an 8mm chain, would it require, for exemple, 6mm wire for a 16mm chain?
So you make your own wire or do you buy it?
Very dope work fam! How long was the chain? And what diameter did you draw it down to from 3mm? Can’t wait to see more of your work!
How do you twist so its remains straight I can't get it to go straight
Nice work. You do white gold too?
Yes I do!
Nice work man! Could you tell me where you got your torch setup or what the name of the torch end is?
Amazing work, I have an old gold chain and some other pieces I would love for you to melt down and do something like this. Thoughts?
How many inches of wire do you recommend buying to make this chain
What did you draw the wire down to?
How long from start to finish.
Hello, how much does it weigh? Thank you!
major respect man.
