Great video man! Been meaning to play Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. Sense I've been on a Star Wars kick recently. I've been playing some TMNT: Cowabunga collection, Ghost of Tsushima, and final fantasy crisis core reunion.
I'm not currently playing anything "new" tbh lol. One of resolutions this year is to finally tackle my ever growing backlog of games but then again I still get distracted and come back to my favorites 💀 For example, the new Resident Evil 4 remake that recently dropped got me in a nostalgia binge that I spent the better part of April plowing through the 3-game pack of RE 4 - 6 on the switch. Also just finally beaten Hades and I think it just ruined roguelike games for me. That game is sooo good. Recently went back to playing Cult of the Lamb and though I adore the art style, humor, and its melding of roguelike and management sim elements, it just couldn't hit the same as Hades for me. Still love it tho, nonetheless. TotK hype got me playing BoTW again too, ngl. If I wanted to relax, I find myself sinking hours upon hours into Sid Meier's Civilization VI. Idk what kinda crack is in that game, honestly. Time just flies by whenever I play it. OlliOlli World is great too but I always somehow find myself rage quitting lmao. (Skill issue, I know, I know) Advance Wars 1+2 remake is on my list along with TotK and Another Crab's Treasure and nothing else 😂 I guess I really need to look into new releases this year, huh?
I met my GF through Fire Emblem and it's such an important series yet Three Houses really put me off touching the franchise again. Too much wandering around and padding so not picked up Echoes. But I think I might. Octopath was another where I was kinda OK with the first one but you had to grind everyone to level 100 to get to the final boss which I just didn't want to do so put me off touching the second one. Heard its really good tho so will pick it up in a sale. I've been playing a lot recently due to a little bit of extra time as of late. I recently finished my re-play of Trails of Cold Steel 1 and did the opening scenes of 2 (although this will get shelved for Zelda tomorrow) as now I've completed the Crossbell arc I can now play Cold Steel 4 XD The franchise is still one of the best I've played in recent history and definitely the gold standard when it comes to in-depth storytelling in games. I also completed the Advance Wars 1 campaign from Re-Boot Camp which was fun although couldn't help but feel something was missing. It wasn't bad I just feel being limited to three COs in a shortish campaign isn't too great and not sure I have the energy to play through the War Rooms. The last battle was great and I'm pretty sure I never ever beat that on the GBA so pretty happy. Started 2 last night so gonna have a blast through it today. Finished Metroid Prime last week too and man it was exceptional. I was reminded why its considered one of the best games of all time. Also been playing Holocure again. Still fun and for a free title can't complain! I do like these types of videos. I feel they have more to talk about than a review.
