You can purchase a used truck and trailer for possibly $18,000 max. It's always better to pay for everything in full so you won't have a overhead. Shop around for your own authority isn't that much either. You may have to put a deposit down of $2,500 or $5,000 and try not to have your monthly payment no more than $1,300 a month. Also establish relationships with freight brokers, Shippers, receivers and independent growers and establish relationships with mechanics as well. The load board he's referring to is DAT, Keep Trucking, CH Robinson, TQL, Truckstop mobile, XPO and few other load boards. Not knocking this brother, but you don't have to pay to get start a Trucking business.

That’s not low ball estimates , that would be your avg $6-9k. $4k is the low estimate, $20k is the High end “ peak season “ $6-10k a month is good money. Even these days. If you can bring home @ least $100k a yr. you’re doing Good That’s pretty darn good $ out there. Not Great and far better than what the majority of people are actually making. If you don’t have a family , then truck driving is perfect for you. Even if you have kids and a lady , but if not , then that $ is all you and you’re living out of your truck So all that $ and you’re not worried about your Shawty getting Hot in the pants while you’re out gettin it She’s gettin it in 😳 Lol …. A dispatching is pretty much nothing compared to a Freight broker. Ask any broker or anyone who have their own authority. Company drivers and owner operators who's leased to someone company (under someone authority) deals with dispatchers.
