One of the reason Jarrett was so good at Indy was his line. He had that late entry into the corner, almost touch the wall and cut to the bottom and arch it thru and it would carry lots of speed thru the corner.
Man the great memories 1999 qualifying on Thursday and Friday then the Saturday noon race Indy is still special 2019 Saturday August 3rd at noon would be great NASCAR?
Immediately after the Saturday morning cartoons; and as Jodie Sweetin always said on her show back then (not Full House, obviously); "that was no better time".
The 1999 Brickyard 400 was one of the biggest stories of the 19th year of NASCAR Racing on Philippine Television, when Dale Jarrett of Robert Yates Racing beat Jeff Gordon of Hendrick Motorsports with his iconic DuPont-sponsored Rainbow Warriors paint scheme to win his 2nd Brickyard 400 win. The monumental race of the 1999 NASCAR Winston Cup Series in Winston America season at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway was jointly produced by Television and Production Exponents, Inc. and SilverStar Communications, Inc. and aired live, nationwide, and via-satellite on GMA Network and the Entertainment Music Channel 27 on August 8, 1999, with a radio simulcast on Super Radyo DZBB 594 and Campus Radio 97.1 WLS FM
Looks like NASCAR is deleting all the old races off of RUclips. Looks like they're cracking down because the attendance and the product they show is horrible. Just a warning. So don't be surprised is your stuff gets deleted.
Hearing any rage whether it was NASCAR or Indycar at The Brickyard called by Bob Jenkins was an absolute treat. I miss him so much.
1998-99 Ford Taurus Nascar, my favorite nascar car of that era
My dad took me to this race when I was 9 years old. I remember it well. Good times.
So if you were 9 years-old when this happened. You're probably 22 years-old

The Indy Car line.
@@ethanweeter2732 when Montoya was in Nascar he was using that line too. Open wheel line.
That Yates horsepower never hurt either! The 28 & 88 were always fast on those long straits, just like they were at Pocono
Lot of motor
Gordon was better plain and simple 5 wins there
Dale Earnhardt clean shaven and the debut of the GM Goodwrench Service Plus "Sign" car
Dale Sr had no Stash because he went snorkeling with his baby taylor in the Bahamas.
300,000 people!!!! Now a days NASCAR is lucky to get 50,000 at indy😕
Back when you could pass at Indy.
The top talent in NASCAR was pretty good in the mid to late 90s. Sr., Gordon, Labonte, Burton, Martin, Stewart, Jarrett, etc.
Everyone talking about Dale's missing stache, me seeing Ray Dunlap's stache be like amazed.
This was the last race ESPN and ABC with the 5 at a time scorebox.

They will never run this race on Saturday again.
My first cup race
I was born the day before this
Back when this event rivaled the Daytona 500 as NASCAR's biggest race.
Immediately after the Saturday morning cartoons; and as Jodie Sweetin always said on her show back then (not Full House, obviously); "that was no better time".
49:30 The 97 car hit hard here and it hit hard in 2002 as well. Ouch.
Little got Bodined
What a horrible driver he was
They used the INDYCAR theme?
Wasn't the "IndyCar theme" only until 2002.
Was the ABC Sports Auto Racing theme from 1999-2001
Now they only get a handful at that track now a days.NASCAR needs go to another track.
All 3 national series should be at IRP!
@@NotSteveCookgod-emperor S1apsh0es?
My first race 😊
