Man, that was the shortest half hour I've experienced in ages!! Dr @Ann Marie and Dr @Mohamed Noor are very SMART!! on top of the fact that they are engaging, kind and enthusiastic humans! I was pretty cranked to see that the TOS episode got the first crack at things! It is also cool how the biological references got better over time, and have now achieved awesome DOC POWER with Dr @Mohamed Noor as a consultant! ONE LOVE #ChatPack
You're always SO kind, thanks Wardogheim! And we all appreciate your Trek knowledge as well as your kindness. Hooray for #ChatPack , and thanks for being there in the live chat of the premier! 🖖
Sounds like fun :) Always good to hear a different perspective on Trek plots how close they are to real science as we understand it today vs when it was written etc etc
Coming late to Bio Trekkie, but enjoying it. The enthusiasm you two have is contagious (I'll leave it to you to determine if that's scientifically accurate!)!
If you want to learn about Trek aliens that take over people like fungus... check out those aliens from Star Trek Enterprise from the "Silent Enemy" episode... there is no official canon name for them, but in Star Trek Online... they were expanded upon and are called the Elachi.
