This is a classic example of a great pianist bringing in a rhythm that is hard to achieve. Anyone can learn to play but to bring this swaying enticing rhythm and signature timing that is really lovely with touches of softness and deeper accents when needed is difficult. Sangah, first of all, that was soul warming, light, and rhythmic. It was wonderful. You know, jazz was not my favorite genre before hearing you, but you’ve changed all that. Your style, tone, and delivery make jazz different than anything I’ve heard in my life. I can feel the stress melt away when you play like this and could listen to you all day long. As a matter of fact, you just gave me my armor too take on the world today. Even better, your music changes mindsets and attitudes so the world can throw whatever it wants at me because it just won’t matter; I’m in a better place now, and I’m now equipped to handle it. I’ll mentally transition to Sangah Land when the going gets tough, think of you, and smile. But that’s the power of Sangah Noona, isn’t it - she can transform moods, attitudes, and hearts through her music and personality to make the world a much better place.
