I’m also working on Magic Arcades and 100% agree with you on everything. I’m debating doing each animal separately when I get to that part just to kind of mix it up from my norm. And I think I will enjoy bringing each one to life. 😄
I’m new to this. Started in February. I have been working on budget kits, but have done a few Make Market kits. Actually just picked up The Wheat Field today. I have splurged and purchased 2 DAC kits. Your finishes are beautiful! Thanks for sharing😊
I am SO looking forwards to starting on my Magic Arcade kit - anything remotely related to capybara (my absolute favourite animal) is an instant yes from me, so this was a must buy. What a gorgeous kit with all those special drills!
Great finishes! I can only manage 6 canvases a year. I've done a ton of coasters, key chains, bookmarks, and other fun small product kits. I enjoy your company. 💜🎨👩🦳
Hi Katie, good evening from Los Angeles County. Love all your completions. Looking forward to seeing your completed WIPs. I am still working on Golden Cocker Spaniel by Peggy Collins. I have decided to two sections at a time. I have a little friend who is helping. She is my housekeeper daughter. She has learned to multiplace, and single place. She is doing very good considering the rendering is square drills.
I finally finished Spirits by Dakota D - I love all the hidden animals. Now I am onto Reading Time for my Spangler event. Working on it for my new Granddaughter!
Dragon kitty was such a happy kitty and turned out so well. The highlight for me was the comparison canvases. Just Wow 😳. I love the newer kit. I like confetti but I’m not sure I could have done the other painting. As always , everything was great and I appreciate all the information you share about your experiences. It makes a difference.
I have done 2 of the same kits that you have done. I did the mini Almond Blossoms and I did the Dragon hugging cat. I enjoyed that one so so much. Its not just you with trying to multi place a lot of diamonds at one time. I actually thought it was just me until you mentioned it here. I was using a 12 placer and I was running into the same thing and getting very frustrated. I thought I was doing something wrong but I guess not. I was fatigued with the confetti in the detail but it was worth it because the kit is amazing finished. Almond Blossoms took me longer to finish because of the confetti. I would just have to go work on something else because it was wearing me out. Its beautiful and I have mine hanging in my craft room. My plans are to work on and finish some of my wips. A couple are so close to being done. I will have some time off because of a three week furlough in my department from my job so Im going to enjoy crafting. Cant wait to see what you have for us next!
Love your June diamond painting finishes. Your choice for your new journal does not surprise me, as you were so excited about it during the unboxing. Good choice! Currently, I am working on the van Gogh Almond Blossoms painting and was using an Ott magnifier light, plus a light pad and was having the worst time distinguishing between certain letters…like the Os, Qs, Gs and others. Finally, I turned off the magnifier light and just used the light pad on high, what a difference that made! So now I am using the unlit magnifier and highly lit light pad for this canvas. I am wondering why these letter groupings are placed so closely together by certain DP companies when those with eyesight conditions will probably have trouble interpreting them.
Decided to add a few columns to my Excel sheet including Confetti, Quality of Painting, and then how much I liked doing it. I am doing a 10/10 confetti right now (from Jade, of course).
Looks like you had a really productive month! The Mermaid's bath projects turned out so pretty! Overall, I definitely prefer the pixel charted version. I like that the colors are brighter and the image is more crisp. The soft confetti look is great for some artworks, less so for others. But both look good! Skipping the Harry Potter part of the video because the author's rabid transphobia. At least until WB buys Joanne KKK Right-Wing out and she no longer makes money from HP film merch.
10:43 definitely not just a you problem! Anytime i do a round drill kit, i always have to readjust when i put a long line of drills down with my 12 multiplacer
Such beautiful finishes. Ive never done an event before so I started Wedding Memories today due the Randal Spangler event. Looking forward to seeing how it turns out.
Summer with the Masters took up most of my June - Gizmonda - but I loved doing her SO SO much and I never would have found her without you, Anthony and the event!! Love branching out!! (And your temperature dragon may not be exactly what you were picturing, but he’s still pretty and will give you so much momentum for next year!!)
Hi Katie! I just got the Magic Arcades :) it really is so cute. Right now i am working on Christmas Eve at the Workshop by Dakota Daetwiler from Diamond Art Club. I am doing it now because I want to put it up fpr the upvoming christmas season❤
These are beautiful finishes. June was a busy month in terms of diamond painting for you, but I am very happy about it. I can't wait to see what paintings you will show us in July.
I feel like they should have just covered the whole canvas in diamonds with the first one. I completed Dragon Princess from Diamond Dotz and started on Cherry Blossom Tree by Dakota Daetwiler from DAC. With summer break, I unfortunately didn't get a lot of diamond painting in.
I love seeing all the kits you are able to complete. It is wonderful seeing the different types of kits. I am starting a Halloween project which is from DAC, Happy Jack's Glittermoon. Its a round diamond drill and has lots of color blocking. After that another Dac, The Witch, and thats bigger overall than Happy Jack's Glitter Moon. I am not sure how long they are going to take me. I have finished 2 paintings plus a set of coasters. I am nearly finished with a 3rd its a hummingbird and a purple and white flower. I really enjoy your videos.😊
Hades and Persephone can be your celebration when Adam gets a job!
I’m also working on Magic Arcades and 100% agree with you on everything. I’m debating doing each animal separately when I get to that part just to kind of mix it up from my norm. And I think I will enjoy bringing each one to life. 😄
I'm working on it too and it's an absolute joy. 😊 I like your idea of working on the animals one by one! I might steal it 🤭
@@crossflower1 yeah! Let’s do it!
I’m working on Almond Blossoms as I’m watching this (20 colors if you still need to know). Love that you went with the nautical journal ❤
The rainbow dragon is so adorable!

I also love their Artist Loft brand for paint by number, some cute little kits!

I loved the log book that you went with ❤
Great month in review I really like the arcade canvas...tfs
I loved the Great Wave & the Dragon & kitty. The dragon & kitty was so colorful & bright.
Great finishes! I can only manage 6 canvases a year. I've done a ton of coasters, key chains, bookmarks, and other fun small product kits. I enjoy your company. 💜🎨👩🦳

Love the month end videos! Hope you, the kids, and Adam all have a great Summer.

I feel like I need Magic Arcade now, hahaha. Loved this wrap up, all the finishes were so pretty :)

If only Magic Arcade didn’t make her a witch, I would be all over that!
I just started Autumn fire 2 and hope to finish it by the end of the month.
Love the new log book, great work on the 6 competitions ❤
❤🎉Love the finishes😮😊

Hi Katie!! I just ordered some new diamond paintings for my birthday! And I wanted to say I love your videos ❤️❤️

Seems like you are doing Summer with the Mini Masters this year. Lame joke, but I'm proud of it 🤣
❤❤❤
Do you use the mesh rulers any?…. I’m thinking of trying them
Is the sparkle pal still sticky on the surface? I know you recommended to seal but I wondered if it dried further.
Do you ever use mica powder (I think that's what it's called).
