Lovely finishes! I hit a milestone in finish count in July. I passed 400 completions! As of today I’ve done 163 large paintings, 91 small 30x40s, and 148 special drill completions. Super proud of myself. Still really enjoying this craft. I wonder when I will feel burn out….🤞🏼I don’t ever want to get there. 6 week break this year for traveling really helped that I think.
My first diamond painting kit was a Make Market Old Masters-Still Life With Apples and some flower. It got me hooked. I'm picking up the lack cat with fancy pen.
I’m a rather slow Diamond painter but I’m about halfway done on four different kits so for August I’d really like to finish one or two of them before drills and chills!

Sorry another comment. I would love to see the Dragon temperature project completed from different locations around the world. I’m going to look for this to see if I can do it for next year. I’m in the UK, so have London temps. I have family 6 hours away, still in the uk. But they can often have temps 10 degrees lower sometimes more than my location. For such a tiny country I find this fascinating. I understand USA temperature variations as your over a huge area compared to us, therefore it’s why I’m so shocked at our changes. Maybe I could do a chart for each location (my relatives and my location) to compare for fun? Maybe you could start a challenge for next year and ask for volunteers from other locations/countries/continents? World temp challenge DP event?!
Finished Munimade Nightfall, working on a small one so I can complete and start one for Drills n’ Chills! First year participating 😊. Love the temperature dragon! Looks great.

Quite a few of the Disney complete sets and individual stickers needed for collections to be completed are available in Uk still. So it’s possible to start AND complete a collection.
I started off the month of July by finishing up two small WIPs (Snuffy Snuffalupagus and Tropical Sea Turtle, both DAC woth the latter being from their amazon lines). Today I got the piece i worked on for SWTM to the halfway point. Im trying to decide between putting it away to finish next year, or continue on until the end of *my* summer, when my kiddo starts school, even though the official event is over for the year. Im looking forward to picking a piece for Drills and Chills, as well as getting started on my next little kit, another sesame street painting for my child and inner child.
The temperature dragon looks so good, Katie…I think you’re right, the July ranges seems to have settled it down. 😊 Looks like I will finish my Disney sticker book in August. Excited but so sad to see it end at the same time. Please let us know if you hear of any more projects like that. I’d be 100% in for the ride!! ❤
I love your finished project as well as your wips. I know what you mean by the colors in landscapes such as browns and greens. I am having the same issue with a year long cross stitch im participating in. Its alot of green and brown in one area and I got behind because I just couldnt push thru those colors to stay on schedule. Its getting better but I am very behind now. Another thing I wanted to tell you about is there is an app that I use to see how long a cross stitch project is gonna take. You put in how many total stitches it is and how many stitches you have done and it will show you approximately how long it will be before you complete it. It also will tell you how many stitches you need to put in a day in order to complete it by the specific date that you put in. Its really a nice and useful app. I dont know if its available for Iphone or not but Im sure there are some that are just like it if not. Of course you would be counting diamonds but its the same concept since its a cross stitch chart. The app is StitchPal and its a blue icon with a white spool figure in the middle. I dont know if you would be interested but I just thought I would tell you about it. Great video!!!
Great finishes! And great progress on the conversion. I had to take July (and most ofJune) off because I'm still dealing with wrist pain, and diamond painting is particularly wrist-intensive. Hope to get back to Star Dragon from DAC at some point--it's halfway done and waiting for me.
Katie, that cross stitch conversion project is coming along nicely. I know it's a lot but it will be amazing when you finish it. For your finishes in July, I really liked The Crystal Ball and your Disney stickers. In July, I finished my #summerwiththemasters2024 kit, " Cafe Terrace at Night" then began working on "Love Bird Lodge". I plan to participate in the ozinaug2024 event because I am a huge Wizard of Oz fan!
Great finishes and WIPS. For July I finished my Evil Queen cross stitch conversion and ”Hydie” from DAC. For August I’m going to finish “Matchmaker’s Maze” by DAC and work on my JWall WIP from TOWTDA. Trying to wrap some of my summer up in preparation for Drills & Chills!
At times, I wish I had more time to DP. But work is very limiting to how much I can work on the piece. It also makes me more excited when I am finally done with work and can turn my brain off for a while.
I feel pathetic with only 28 finishes for 2.5 years. But most of mine have been VERY big, and I just started multiplacing. I started Dragon Attack from DAC 2 years ago and just brought it back out to finish it.
No events this month, currently working on Lady of the Lake and Moon Goddess both by Sarah Moustafa 😊 I'm hoping to finish both in 2 weeks so I can start on Libra by Roy Trinh. That's my son's Zodiac sign so I'm hoping to have it done by his birthday in September 😄
You should definitely keep it. I love Josephine Wall. I found her too late .. She was already gone from DAC when I found her and can't afford her on Diamond Painting Deutschland. Definitely keep her.

I’ve been working on a custom canvas. I had a custom made canvas of our dear husky Mozart who crossed over the rainbow bridge.

Hi Katie, I am still working on Golden Cocker Spaniel. Anxiety and panic makes me stop. So, time to talk to my Therapist regarding this issue.
You should definitely keep it. I love Josephine Wall. I found her too late .. She was already gone from DAC when I found her and can't afford her on Diamond Painting Deutschland. Definitely keep her.
There are some Josephine Wall pieces at The One With the Diamond Art!
LoVe Anthony!
❤❤❤
Lost of July finishes! I didn't complete anything but hoping to finish naughty space void for fantastic felines 🐈⬛️😻
Do you save your left over drills?😊I love your finished projects they are beautiful too 😊
I’ve saved some of them! I don’t have the space to save all of them though.
I will in next year’s one
Ooooo
My July had 24 days where it was over 100
