Thank you Costi, I really appreciate this series. I have longed for freedom from lust almost my entire life. This series has helped me continue my fight to try to kill this sin. I hate it, but it is hard. I pray that anyone else that listens to this is blessed as well with encouragement to keep fighting.
I know this is unrelated, but this series couldn't have come at a better time with everything that has happened recently with pastor .Lawson . Its good timing for a lot of us to hear this 🙏 God bless you
Which leaves me with the question of how does a highly respected preacher and teacher (not a well-known false teacher) who should know all of this, and is in the Word daily, fall into sexual sin against his wife of 40+ years? How does sanctification work in the lives of Christians?
@Costi, I would be interested in some practical advice for how to fight for singles, especially middle aged singles. They may want to get married and they may have battled this sin (esp P***) in their past. Obviously they are in a war to get clear of the obvious sin but at the same time they are seemingly alone in the struggle.
When I see what desire does to people, what been happening in the news, I am very glad to have no part in it. Besides, the absence of desire leaves one free to pursue... other things. :)
@@turkeybobjr I dont think you understand what i said :) Its about castration. :) They can be no fail 1 Cor is no more applicable when the deed is done. Temptation has lost its sting!
Brother Costi, PLEASE read this comment. What if a normal Christian has sinned in this manner? What if a Christian has sinned sexually multiple times? Is there hope for recovery? Can such a Christian still witness to others? And what about ministry? What are the steps ahead? I'm just talking about a normal Christian, not a pastor...
There's always hope in Christ while we are still in this world and truly repent before it's too late. 👉 •If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.• 1 John 1:9
These are among others: • And do not participate in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead even expose them. ~Ephesians 5:11 • “If you love Me, you will keep My commandments.” ~John 14:15 • Better is reproof that is revealed than love that is hidden. ~Proverbs 27:5 👉 “But for the cowαrdly and unbelieving and αbominαble and murderers and sexuαIIy immorαI persons and sorcerers and idoIαters and all liars, their part will be in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second deαth.” ~Revelation 21:8 • “But if the wicked man turns from all his sins which he has done and keeps all My statutes and does justice and righteousness, he shall surely live; he shall not die. All his transgressions which he has done will not be remembered against him; because of his righteousness which he has done, he will live. Do I have any pleasure in the death of the wicked,” declares Lord Yahweh, “is it not that he should turn from his ways and live?” ~Ezekiel 18:21-23
I believe that online content that stirs lust is the battle of this generation. It is heartening to see young Christian leaders address it head on.
In Jesus name amen
Fight their sheer compelled natures to troll such content, I let you use such discretion to disclose as such

True!
Don't fight it. Flee it
Thank you, brother Costi. We actually discussed this series in our men's discipleship group. Great reminders.
I love the comment it's not about perfection but about direction!!
I hope you are meeting with Steve Lawson in his spiritual restoration!

Therefore let anyone who thinks that he stands take heed lest he fall.

God created the universe, you can't be far off from forgiveness... think about it

What about thinking of the possible consequences of these sins?
What makes you think other people's sex lives are any of your business ?
