Hi, Recently read "The SmartPhone Comes of Age" in Jan/Feb 2017 ProMovieMaker. It said you are using an iPhone 6+ for your videos. Is this for all of them or only some like "The Collectors"? PS I thought "The Collectors" was Excellent!!! never would have guessed you used a 6+. Ken
Thanks Ken - yes I also used an iphone 6S+ for this shoot. The same one I used to film The Collectors actually. I'm delighted you enjoyed The Collectors. For both shoots I used the app Filmic Pro + which among other things allows you to control exposure and focus separately so you get a better quality picture. Eleanor
4:42 - One of the smallest studios in RTE is home to all of their national news output - Studio 3 at just over 700 Sq Ft. Tiny compared to other broadcasters. I even think TV3 in Ireland have a larger news studio in their newly refurbished Studio One.
@@jacksugden8190 RTE studios are very small compared to what the BBC had at Television Centre. When Telefis Eireann launched it had only 4 main studios, with the largest being Studio 1 at only 4,180 Sq Ft - tiny in comparison to BBC TV Centre studios. It was not until 1982 that RTE built their largest studio named Studio 4, but even then they made a balls up of it, and if you want me to tell you that story, just say.

Yes Tania Sillan, remember her co presenting the BBC Business Breakfast at TVC all those years ago, she was an impressive presenter.

It is called a DOG Digital Onscreen Graphic which is loaded into their production gallery at Studio 3 in RTE.

@@johnking5174 I never did, so watched the video again and think that the studio set, theme was old fashioned and needed a new designer.
