    Let me tell you this. I love every show. The Philadelphia spectrum, all 50 of the Grateful Dead shows the last 2. Where the other ones in dead and company are. Whatever else you want to say? I missed Jerry every single day. You guys all understand and goughs. We listen All The Time every different branch. Every different tree, every different group.Delete string, dark star orchestra.Everybody that's out there doing it and when we're all dead and gone it'll still be Playing

    I was shocked that they even did a fall tour in 90. They still sounded great though. RIP Brent. Just keep Truckin on.

    This was pretty much Vince's debut. I remember this show well. the spacey jam before Morning Dew they played once before that I know of. They headed off to jam in Europe a month later. I was lucky to have joined the trip and saw them 12 times in Europe '90 tour. mid to late 80's early 90-91 were great, then the light started to dim. still loved them to the end and to this day, no one better. God Bless The Grateful Dead!!!!!

    Beautiful High Time starting with even a haunted-sounding tuning beforehand. I remember playing this tape often; had a good SBD.
    Early Vince. Hmm.

    loved this show, the first 2 nights were okay, but this was a monster! it stacks up nicely with those awesome MSG shows that followed. This was my all - time favorite UJB that I ever saw, and that Jerry's Irish Space/Handsome Cabin Boy Jam out of space was insanely great, in fact the only other time they ever did that was also the Spectrum in 1987, and in fact I preferred that one, it was more jerry guitar work while this one had more MIDI effects to it. and Dew too! Hell of a show!

    some of the best EVER bobby-jerry-phil- interplay in half step, let it grow, playin and the huge second set jams. Whole show really. One for the record books, at last for me. It was my 6th show. Drums were incredible too -- entire show. Thank you for posting this, holy shit great memories!

    Good work Mr. Nola although i am not a fan of '90's i will say that this dew has some soul to it.I think being in the spectrum also helps for whatever reason. I think they played the spectrum like 53 times and i saw 49 of them .They did dig philly which is kinda kool being that we live 30 minutes outside the city. The biggest reason for me not digging the '90's was jerry was not digging 'em. You can see it as well as hear it. Reason 2 that horrific midi and the sounds it created.

    • @veek.6463
      @veek.6463 7 лет назад

      I love the midi with all my heart. It is the language of angels and the sounds of the bardo upon leaving this life. You are lucky to have heard it now to recognize it then. You should thank him with all your soul.

      I was at this show in the upper rafters of the spectrum where Jerry's guitar licks were bouncing off the walls it was a great night when the band was completely in sync

    this may very well be the shittiest concert they've every played -- however, these guys are still swinging for the fences... Each and every time these dudes took the stage, they were shooting for the moon... A class act, god bless the grateful dead.
