Recently stopped using gold and use positioning to improve my gameplay. No need to get mad when someone uses gold. It’s a game we all play for our own enjoyment
That's what I thought at first. But you realize that that's only useful when you're a medium or a light or sometimes a TD. If you're a heavy tank, you're supposed to utilize your armor. Gold ammo just makes heavy tanks that don't have overpowered or top class armor in a certain scenario useless.
Back in the day when gold ammo wasn't available for credits, all tanks with armor could utilize them in their respective environments. Like skill said, the Ferdinand used to be feared, specially because sometimes it used to stay relatively behind heavies so your penetration decreased even further and you couldnt aim at weakspots So you had to play around its slowness and big hull.
Also, there were far more games with non premium tanks with non maxed setups nor crews because premium ammo or consumable cost didn't exist, so your and your enemie's tanks were not at 110% most of the time and thus the game was also more forgiving and less frustrating to play, even without the arta changes we have now!!
There was a great focus in outplaying enemy vehicles based on their weaknesses. That's just not true anymore, and because armor doesn't work, the game just isn't good anymore. There's no other way around it.
Gold should still cost gold in my opinion. It would definitely stop the spam as much, or make it more expensive, like 10k per shot, so you really need to think when to use it. I usually only carry 5 to 8 gold on everytank.
@@danimal865 I dont like an idea that premium ammo is costing gold. Becuse as a f2p player it would suck
@torttu most premium players wouldn't use it much either if they made it expensive. Right now its to cheap, everyone just uses gold, even f2p players cause as long as you hit your shots you break even atleast. That encourages people to just use it all the time. I cant even play e100 anymore because of it

This ammo loadout (0 gold) was how this game used to be and SHOULD still be like.
- Put back weak spots (on all tanks)
- Put a cap on gold ammo (10% of capacity)
Don't allow any tank to be a hull down monster
WG gets a lot of money from gold spam. Most people can only afford it by buying premium account. So it will never happen.
I lost one of my gold teeth a couple weeks ago. I dug through 9 piles of crap before I found it on the floor next to the bed. I think it got pulled out by the old lady’s pubes!!GG skill!!
Yeah, it definitely would have come out before 9 shits. Usually it would have been within 1 to 2 days.🤣
nice to know that the game is borderline unplayable without using premium ammo and that it takes one of the strongest players in the game to make it work although with great difficulty.

Its dpm isnt bad but in that first game didnt seem like the dmg was stacking very quick for firing on reload 🤔 might be just my princess side 🤷

this is what most of us doing most of the time.. max 2 skills at crew.. With 5 prem ammo... welcom to the club.. we can only dream about experimental eq and sht... Dude what are you talking about. In nowadays wot thanks to battle pass reserves and all other stuff having a two perk crew is a huge achievement. Secondly, not playing gold because you cannot afford it? Thanks to reserves and premium tanks that you can get for example from twitch drops or by recruiting account you are able to make huge amount of money.
Nah bro. F2p all my crews are 5 or 6 skills. I use gold when necessary. Just gotta git gud. Get you prem tanks for bonds and events.
