  • Join Dr. Judy as she addresses the mystery canine respiratory illness that has pet parents concerned causing dogs to be sick with wet coughs and breathing problems. Both this video and my blog will explain what we do know about this illness and provide suggestions for what food and supplementation can be used to boost the immune system, with the goal of (1) reducing risk in getting the disease, and (2) supporting a dog that has been infected. There are still many unknowns about this illness, but two ways to reduce risk are limiting access to other pets and supporting your pet's immune system.

    • @MariaSumnicht

@@vestagirl8484 Yes, the vaccines are causing the sicknesses. That is why it is spreading so quickly because people are vaccinating their pets thinking they are doing "a good thing" when in reality they are NOT. Through a FOIA request I was able to get the vaccine ingredients for humans. The ingredients contained in vaccines for humans is toxic. I cannot get the ingredients for pet vaccines. My guess is that they are as toxic or even more so! It is sad that veterinarians are not seeing the link between the increased vaccine schedule for dogs and cats and the increase for cancer in pets along with other diseases that just didn't exist. They have the data in their practices but most vets can't see past the end of their noses because they have been indoctrinated by the medical schooling they received.
It is good to see a vet who is practicing great medicine like Dr Judy. My hope is that she reads this post and analyzes the data in her practice and correlates it with the increased vaccines schedule. The same is happening to children, with the increase in their vaccine schedules you now see allergies that did not exist 30 years ago along with ADD, ADHD, Autism, cancers, etc. @lisafoster4468
A really great thing to do to your pets is the do parasite cleanses. That keeps them healthier all around.

GREAT advice! My 14 yo Chi is getting over this now. I gave him 1/2 tsp elderberry syrup at night for the cough, chicken bone broth, a dash of turmeric, honey, salt and ground turkey for food. This helped him tremendously and yes, it was hard to watch him with a deep cough, but I didn’t suppress it, let him cough it up and out. And plenty of warmth and rest. I think he got it from our normal walk, sniffing the ground where other dogs had been. He is not in places with other dogs, only walks in the neighborhood. Hope this helps someone!

This is so so so awesome thank you Dr Judy, with my dogs and cats coming down with whatever they have, this is amazing timing. Are you going to have a written list of all the suggested foods and supplements you recommend for this? I am in Mexico, but the puppy came from Phoenix AZ and brought this to my house of Beloveds, so for, I have 11 dogs and 3 cats, 9 of my dogs are infected with this cough, all three of my cats also came down with this. With most of my dogs, all but two got over it within 10 days or less without complications, and two of my dogs not necessarily have complications but have had this over a month now. My vet did a blood test and the said limit guidelines are lower but truly not by much at all, but what it tells me, there white blood cells are compromised, so what we are doing is treating the two girls with antibiotics for secondary illness and also a medication to get the phlegm moving and yes I stopped suppressing the cough and thank you, you confirmed this is a must...while it is hard to observe them cough their heads off and from time to time a stream of gluey white snot disperses from a nostril...I know I must allow this. Again, I hope in your community site you will provide a written list so we can shop for them. I love love love you Dr Judy!

Some of us live in States where “reporting” isn’t great x related to rabies.
I appreciate your work tremendously. One of my dogs, the eldest, a 12 1/2 year Cockapoo, died on June 21st. My vet dx it as “meningitis” (however he had no nuchal rigidity or any other signs common to kids with meningitis) . Until the past 2 years Ollie suffered from terrible allergies, scratching & ear infections. We did not have either a scan or LP, or a necropsy. For the past two years he’d also been treated by a canine allergy and dermatology practice.
It’s hard for me to talk about, we are still torn up about it.
Not enough, our roughly 16 year old KittyKat Charlie died October 1st, probably from Feline Herpes. (I’m pretty sure that was accurate. Charlie was “feral” at least for his first four or five years.). After he came to live inside, he was vaccinated. But i understand he’d likely already been infected as a “kitty boy,’.
Thanks for all you do. My best wishes Monica Molloy. 😊
