How do you remove the ice in the winter? I had a similar type and the bottle was alwas frozen in the water and was a pain to refill compared to my old rubber tubs. I just hate the rubber tubs because my rabbits chew them and don't want them to swallow it. Looking for the same type like yours but removable. Great video.
Thank you for sharing this!! The waterbottles always leak out and it's aggrivating.. I'm in Washington State in the U.S. is there a way to get a couple of these here??
I can't find these anywhere and would love to purchase some. Where did you find them and can you send me the link so I can buy them? This is exactly what I've been looking for now for some time and can't find them. I get so frustrated when everything for rabbits is usually made of plastic. Don't manufacturers know that rabbits eat plastic. LOL!
@@FoodForThought. thank you! I did finally just order from them. And thank you for ur very informative videos. Very helpful for us first-time rabbit-raisers. :)
They now send a metal strip with the bowls, but no instructions on how to put them on. Supposed to keep the rabbits from tipping it up, which at least half of mine do. Any tips for that? Thanks
I've seen the black plastic bowl with a metal strip to stop tipping over, which is threaded through the loop at the front and then through the wire on the cage floor. However; I never used it as it's a pain to remove for cleaning.
Try getting a very small drill, and drill a hole in the lip on the outside (where the bottle goes). You can then use a tiny safety pin, which you can attach some elastic which will give resistance to the rabbit but can be removed by you for cleaning. Just a thought.
I’ve been having issues with a few of my rabbits tipping them instantaneously. I’ll try this. Unless any other ideas since this was posted? It’s always the same rabbit so I’m guessing it’s a learned behavior.
really im just worried because last time i used a plastic painted bowl these black bacteria spots poped up and started to build up more. I do washed them properly. Thanks for your reply
Gotta love it when the people who make these types of videos respond w/helpful answers. Thank you, Food for Thought! :)
You are very welcome
Our guy too. He is outside West Montrose. Super knowledgeable and answers everything we ask.
I have been looking for these cage bowls for quite some time. Thanks for this.

For sure, Brian ships all over the world. Just go onto his website that's in the description. They are awesome.
You could get a rabbit water dispenser instead and it stands properly as well.
I can’t find these anywhere in the states does he ship? Does he have a website? We have 20 show rabbits I love this ideal

How do you find these water dishes in freezing temps?
They freeze, just like all the rest, but if you need to, you can heat these to melt the water and knock out the ice block.
Can we give them clay bowls for water?
You can give them whatever you want. I just prefer these for my cages.

@@ltorato2651 yeah plastic water bowls build bacteria faster, use a ceramic or stainless steel bowl instead
@@sherissaelise thank you i'm using a stainless steel bowl right now
I was thinking- how are you going to clean that out if it's attached to the cage?... oh ok just flip it up- works great.
Yeah, makes cleaning so easy.
Im trying to find these with NO luck
