- This is a murder ballad which originated in Scotland in the 1700s and was known as "Twa Sisters." It eventually distilled into the folk music of Europe and North America and has become a classic tune. I first heard it through Jerry Garcia, but it has been covered by many artists in different genres. Thanks for checking it out if you do--Tim.
Great playing.
I appreciate the kindness. Best wishes--Tim.
Tim, great sound! I like the D chord in standard tuning. It offers nice variations.
Vladek, thank you as always for the kind comment. My favorite keys to play in are G and D, as they allow me to use open strings fairly liberally--Tim.
Sounds nice in D!
Thank you, my friend.
